You missed something there aren't a few exits for auras world item there's only 1 but there's 40 possible exits and unlike basically every world item where you have to beat the player to gain possession with this world item you just have to escape the world so he had hanzo guarding the only exit ntm it can make basically any world one with freezing temperatures where you take constant frost damage lava world constant fire damage and so forth useful world item though almost never used as it's a risk to use also the reason the quoga didn't submit immediately is because the leader didn't know if they where stronger then the dragon lord he had no problem submitting if he knew this but as aura and Shalltear have no facial hair he couldn't read there expressions there overconfidence was apparent but since he found it impossible for just 2 people to take on 60k as even the miniscule damage that each quaga cause would eventually even defeat dragon lords he just didn't see how 2 could beat 60k so he came to the conclusion that they where stronger but bluffing about being able to beat them all why he declined the offer and attacked
Pe Riyuro is actually a good leader of the Quagoa, aside of being the strongest, he unified the other tribes together, used Dwarf slaves to advance their civilization, doesn't punish his followers for failures but instead learns and prepare. He would have gladly submitted to Ainz earlier if he only knew more about how powerful Shalltear was from the start.
He also allowed the other tribes to retain individuality so that their leaders would focus more on competing with each other rather then deposing him, which is pretty smart
The problem with the Quagoa is that they literally had no idea what they were working with. Even if two people walked up on you and your army, you can't just give up because they said so. But he did say if they had showed them how strong they were he would've complied, Shalltear and Aura just didn't care enough to do anything but follow orders. If they had been given time and shown the dead dragons they probably would've agreed tbh
it's not that they might not be strong even though they walked up on your army. It's that they might not be stronger than the frost dragons. In which case it would be better to face the two and have the dragons as allies still. Vice versa, it'd be better to surrender immediately and be in the same position as before but with the new people. But no one could tell, so they got decimated.
I mean, they really didn't show the rat-dogs how strong they were. They thought that the Death Knights were the strongest thing they had which would be tough but manageable. Then Shalltear happened. Easy to see why they thought they got screwed over.
Yeah and the leader was actually quite smart, instead of their people killing one another he sacrificed them as trump cards in order to get that number Ains wanted.
Imagine when everyone else will hear such "heartbreaking" news. It's like Ainz could "grasp their hearts" without even being anywhere near them. I'm sure their "hearts will explode" after so much pressure.
Lmao I love how the Guardians relentlessly "understand" Ainz' motives and meanings when that man is just a confused pile of bones that doesn't know what's going on.
Fun info for fans: The item aura used is a world item known as this item create a separate dimension and traps the target in it, you can't escape it with any method except finding the hidden exit door, also the user can choose the world to be in any shape or form they like, in this scenario aura created a similar world to the place they were in. Shalltear was only the meat grinder for the adult quaguas, so the leader had to send his own soldiers to kill the women and children to lower the number to what shalltear wanted, also he had to hear scream of all of them and he was devastated.
Yeah, DoNaS has 100 possible terrains, and each one has 40 possible escape routes (selected randomly each time it is activated). Also, Ainz Ooal Gown (the guild) took it from the previous guild that used it on them by finding their way out, and when the guild begged for it back Momonga basically said: No, you were dumb enough to risk this, and you not getting it back will be a valuable lesson.
I hope they animate the next time we see Pe Riyuro (the Quagoa leader) in the LN. Spoilers below... . . . . . . He meets Jircniv (the emperor) and they instantly become best friends, bonding over their shared Ainz-trauma. Sasuga, Ainz-sama! Your master plan to eradicate the barriers between lesser races is proceeding flawlessly!
@@honyopenyoko7933 I can just imagine his response (and/or that of his guild mates) being the exact same as abridged counterpart: “Sorry, I don’t make deals with bitches.”
Just a little piece of extra info that was cut from this episode for being too graphic the quagoa didn't sent any children to get grinded by Shalltear, instead he told the warriors to kill all the children until there were only 2,000 left.
This is where I do think the light novels really shine. Hejinmal is very intelligent and was barely able to showcase that when identifying Ainz. To come to the quick conclusion that it would be better to submit served his family in the best way. His prideful father didn't even know what happened to him since it was too fast.
The Quagoa would have absolutely submitted if they knew how strong they were. The leader in the LN was actually thinking he’d be more than happy to bow and scheme to rebel later if possible. His only hesitation was if they were stronger than the dragons since he didn’t want to hitch his wagon to the losing side. His hesitation sealed it for Aura and Shalltear. After they told him to wear something so they could distinguish him from the rest (they wanted him alive since he’s the strongest) he realized how effed they were and tried to surrender, but it was too late. Worth noting that his people rushed headline into slaughter with no hesitation due to a skill he had, Shout/Warcry, which buffs his army’s attack and removes all fear. Thankfully, the anime cut out the part where he orders his remaining troops to start killing the children to bring the numbers down; the LN says that the children were screaming as their own warriors slaughtered them.
It's a little confusing, but essentially when the Clan Lord tell Shalltear "I have 60k strong army behind me, so it is difficult to just surrender with no good reason." The negotiation is over at that point, because he didn't immediately give her a Yes. When Shalltear tell him they will be killed until there are 10k left, it wasn't a threat. She is going to do it regardless of what they do now.
Yall laugh, but Hejimal is probably the smartest dragon there. He took one look at Ainz getting ready to cast a spell and said "fuck this shit, all hail Ainz Ooal Gown!"
Yo next episode might leave you guys confused cause there’s gonna be a time skip cause the arc that is suppose be after this episode is gonna be a movie and the anime doesn’t really tell u what happened tldr ainz made another kingdom(roble holy kingdom) pretty much depended on his kingdom and there’s also translation errors in the next episode where every time someone mentions the “Roble holy kingdom” the subtitles refers to it as “The Slane theocracy” which is a completely different kingdom that isn’t a fan of ainz
I tink the problem in the next episode was the script, not the translation. Because you can find the same errors in the spanish translation. I watch the episode with subs in spanish and later in english. Have the same translation, so the error are in the original japanese audio.
Zanac is my favorite character in the kingdom, because even though he's not as charismatic as the first prince, or as genius just like princess renner. He is the best candidate to be the king, because he actually really care about the kingdom and it's people. And he also not power hungry as the first prince or sociopath like renner.
Its pretty ironic that Zanac and the Eight Fingers go from being schemers in their own right to actually caring about the fate of the Kingdom and the people close to them when confronted with Ains and the possibility of antagonising him
The leader of the dog/rat guys is actually a good leader he was fine with surrendering but it was hard to do so because they didn’t give him a reason too. sure they saw the death knights but they thought it was made by the dwarves and and just following orders they gave the dog/rat race to options to surrender or be cut down and they only gave him one chance
The clan lord knew something was really off, he wanted them to show their power first because no leader would give up a 60.000 army to only 2 people, or their army would ignore the command, that was a massacre, not even a call to surrender, they did not thought beyond Ains orders and did exactly as told...ouch.
An interesting thing about the anime Quagoa genocide, they actually cut out the part where Riyuro broke down after he ordered the remaining troops to select 2000 children to spare and to kill the rest.
It was probably the best choice to send the big boy instead of any other dragon. Any other dragon would've tried to fight Ainz and they'd all get made into handbags in the end. Albedo, Shaltear, and Aura would've gotten entire ensembles of dragon materials; boots, hats, purses, dresses (or in Aura's case a suit; something like Majima from Yakuza), necklaces and earrings of dragon-teeth (Aura might get a bolo-tie), hats, armor and weapons and trinkets made of dragon-bone (although I would keep some bones for the marrow, maybe like parts of the tail and a portion of the leg-bones), etc. And a whole feast of dragon (big boy probably has some nice succulent fat on him, like pork-belly, that'd fry up nice); use every cut and piece of the meat Golden Kamuy style.
To be fair to the lord of the Quagoa when he approached Shalltear he was willing to negotiate surrender. But Shalltear was like nope, you only get to say yes or no to surrender and we aren’t going to say anything else. It is more so the pettiness of the guardians that caused that massacre more than anything.
Hejinmal proving he's the smartest of the dragons! Interesting LN lore: dragons can smell the value of things, and Hejinmal wondered if too much reading had ruined his sense of smell when he met Ainz and his impossibly expensive gear.
Aura’s domination skill she used on the dragon was to express her murderous intent should he disobey her. It scared him to such an extent he thought she actually did kill him, but it took him a moment to realize if his heart was still beating. Since he isn’t even sure if he could fly with how fat and weak he’s gotten he was worried of losing value in Aura’s eyes. So the dragon thought saying he was overjoyed to have a master would sound better to Aura than admitted to being scared.
the clan lord didn't refuse the terms he just said that it would be difficult to convince thousands of his people to submit to two strangers withouta good reason.. Basically he was saying "I know you're strong because of how confidant you are, so show my people your strength so that they will accept that we cannot beat you." but Shalltear didn't pick up on that and just said "welp that isn't immediate compliance so I have to cull you now."
Ainz is the posterman for the ability to fail upwards. Also, love for Hejinmal, he may look a coward, but he was smart enough to survive when everyone else was getting gibbed.
Ainz actually had mentions how he likes to fight, he mentions how counters need to be had against time magic and instant death magic, for him that pvp 101, because that's exactly what he does
Fun Facts: The large scroll Aura used was a World Item called Depiction of Nature and Society. It allows the user to pick any image out of dozens , then transform the targeted into the selected image, trapping all effected inside of a pocket dimension filled with various hazards, be they friend or foe. The unique thing tho is that this World Item is its one of the few that has an actual drawback. In that one of 40 different escape routes will be chosen at random and if someone escapes using that route then control of the World Item is IMMEDIATELY transferred to that person. In fact, this is exactly how Ains and his guild got it. And the reason why Shalltear and Ains weren't worried about being in the range wa because they each had their own World Item , which immediately allowed them to chose whether they wanted to be effected by Depiction of Nature & Society or not As for the Quagoa, there was no way for the leader to know how strong Shalltead was, for all he knew it was just a bluff. That being said, he made the most out of the situation by sending his weakest fighters to die so that the strongest could live. The messed up part the anime doesn't mention is the Quagua were forced to kill many of their own children to essentially fulfill the quota which is dark as hell, even for this series
Y'all the dragons could not open the dwarves vault. It's been untouched since they took over so it's up for grabs. Also the reason why Ains shushed Aura was because he loves talking about something he knows about which is PVP and combat tactics because he's useless everywhere else.
Informing you now incase the translation of the next episode is still wrong, in the next episode whenever someone says the "Theocracy" it is a translation error in that they are referring to the Holy Kingdom, not the slane theocracy. The next arc skips the Holy Kingdom Arc which will be adapted into a movie later on.
My 2 cents? Someone on the translation team forgot that there was a skip midway and thought that the Holy Kingdom was the error and changed it to the Theocracy. Complete speculation, but would be pretty funny tbh
Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like they realized there was a mistranslation before they reacted to ep 8, but on the other side they didn’t even seem to notice there was an issue with the SK helping the theocracy.
@@filipvadas7602 my thought is that since a "theocracy" is a government ruled by religious entities the translator(s) thought that maybe the japanese word for "holy kingdom" was meant to be the theocracy since they both are religious in nature, but idk
In fact, the dragon was never able to open the vault, it was quite tough for them (ancient dwarf magic). By the way, his name was Olasird'arc Haylilyal and his level was 46, definitely a weak one, since he was just a "Fake" Dragon Lord (essentially a wannabe)😛. By the way, the movie (no release date yet) takes place after this episode, so there is a "time-skip" between this ep and the next one.
To clarify: Aura&Mare - Bukubukuchagama, older sis of Pero Shalltear - Peroronchino, younger bro of Buku Other guardians: Albedo - Tabula Smaragdina (PA transformed into him in S1 E11) Demiurge - Ulbert Alaine Odle, argued with Touch Me in S2 flashback Cocytus - Warrior Takemikazuchi Sebas - Touch Me
If I remember right Shaltear's conditions were submit or we kill your people till 10,000 remain. Since he didn't submit right away he strategically sacrificed them since there was no turning back. Shaltear was going to kill them all regardless since they didn't instantly kneel. Can't really fault that leader after that.
The fall into the chasm wouldn’t be enough to kill ainz, not even close. The anime didn’t show this even though it would have been hilarious, but ainz had actually been testing fall damage during volume 14 because the new world has 0 wind resistance for things falling downwards which means they accelerate basically without limit until they hit something. Ainz had been testing to see if this could be an effective way to drop off his undead army Like the soul eaters (the undead horses) who ainz would have dropped from the sky into cities, but he said the problem wasn’t that the soul eaters died, it was that they were just oftentimes stuck in the holes they created on impact.
Basically, an undead horse with significantly less HP or defenses than ainz could survive a farther fall, which is important because there is no terminal velocity in the new world, it’s 9.8 meters per second per second endlessly
The scroll Aura used was a world item. It traps the targets in a world that has a ton of presets to offer that can also be customized. There are worlds that inflict environment damage (fire, cold, lightning, etc) on the targets. There are also worlds that send re-spawning armies calibrated to 60 percent of the target’s strength. And also worlds where they send one non-respawning army that’s 80 percent of the targets strength. There is always at least one randomly generated exit so the targets can escape, and if one of them does escape, they gain control of the world item. That’s actually how Nazarick got it. Another guild used it on them, and they escaped. Afterwards, the other guild kept contacting them and asking for the item back, and Nazarick just laughed at them. The world Aura chose for the Quagoa was one that didn’t have any hazards, but it had only one, set exit. They set the Hanzos (the ninja creatures) to guard the exit to make sure no one would take the item by luck.
They didn't really give them a show of strength first Those death knights were miss identified as Golems and the leader didn't get to know their power firsthand. He got his info from a panicking survivor And nobody in this world expects or even believes the power of Nazerick could exist, unless they've seen it firsthand. If you didn't have a background of animes and shows, and then two people alone showed up to take you down, then you wouldn't think they're OP. You'd just think they're crazy or stupid A proper show of strength would have been Shalltear using some magic to destroy a district or two of the city and THEN telling them to surrender
So, feel the need to mention, the gold pile the Dragon was on wasn't from the Treasury you saw Ainz open, the Dragon never managed to get the door open
Olasidirc, the father, is level 46. He’s as low of a level as shizu but since he’s a dragon he’s still very strong. As for the vault he could never open the door no matter how much he tried
I like to think that the seal was made by players so the structure acts like in-game buildings, just like Ainz’ desk where he deals 0 dmg when he slam his fist.
Cool little tidbit about the Chasm, in the Light Novel Ains actually threw a rock in ,listened for a full minute and didn't even hear the sound of it falling to the ground Surmising that something down there killed the Death Knights after they fell down (this is because the Death Knights have a one-time death save that puts them at 1HP instead of being killed, so they could have survived the fall no problem, but that something else was probably down there that took advantage of their weakened state)
For anyone Wondering the scroll used by Auro b4 the battle was one of the World items that Nazarick owns and in fact we saw it in season 1 b4 Ainz faught Shelltear...
few things the item shaltear used to trap the quagoa was a world item that creates a inescapable maze.... the dragon lord was also very pissed off by the fact he was unable to enter the dwarven treasure thats why he sat right infront of it...
6:25 the glittery stuff that yall were tlaking about was a World Item that Aura used to trap the Quagua in that location. the scroll can create any world that's user wants or just create a spawning room for people to die in.
As to your question about fall damage. Ainz has a skill that nullifies fall damage, he tested it by throwing a minion with the same skill from the upper atmosphere and it came out unscathed. Anime skipped it though. What's interested is that the core feature of the Death Knights is that it takes at least 2 hits to kill them, an attack that would do 100% damage would leave them with 1HP, useful for a defender-type monster. So either they got banged against the walls a couple of times, or something at the bottom was strong enough to finish them off.
Grasp Heart is Ainz's favorite 9th tier spell that instantly kills a single target. However, it doesn't work on opponents that are high leveled or has high resistance to instant death attacks. If the spell fails to kill the target, it's secondary effects activates that makes them either stunned or stupefied. When Ainz use the spell on the dragons, he was checking if they're strong or weak.
@@comicsans6264 In terms of Yggdrasil’s game they are two separate status effects, yes? If so, then I take your point. Either way, Grasp Heart is rather good for an opening attack in a PvP match whether the one hit kill works or not.
Could you create a perpetual motion machine using a reanimated skeleton, or would that just be converting magical energy to electrical energy? If it's the latter, would it be reasonable to say that you could also convert other mundane energies into magic? Is magical energy unlimited? If it is unlimited, then would the energy created from the perpetual motion of the undead eventually overrun the universe? This is too much thinking for my potato brain to handle
Between this episode and the next, some people might get a little confused as there's a time skip in the anime where the holy kingdom arc should have been. Supposedly, they are making that arc into a movie, but didn't mention it properly in the anime and this caused the confusion.
So real talk, in the manga with the rat people. They explained better why they faught back. They were confused and couldn't understand why two people stood their unflinchingly. They were willing to Submit if they Knew that they were stronger than Dragons. Creatures who would've defeated the "Golems" Death Knights with ease. But they had no idea who they were. How strong they were, clearly they were strong. But 60K Warriors strong? They must be insane, something like that is unthinkable after all. Unless they're stronger than the Dragons.
A funky bit of lore from the world ainz/momonga comes from: it is hyper capitalized to the point industries own the educational system and have extortionate rates for schooling. Momongas parents could only afford to get him to an elementary school level of education stopping before middle school, it just highlights how out of the loop ainz is to his minions level of thinking
I mean with your logic EVERYTIME someone walks up and tells you to surrender you should surrender. Thats a fucking awful strategy. Also in the novel the Quagura DID surrender. Shalltear said no you WILL keep fighting and dying until enough of you are dead to match the random number Ainz gave me.
In LN, Ainz thought of finding out how deep the chasm really is since there is no sound back when things fall into it. But at this point, he forgot I think...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there mention of the possibility of a monster being at the bottom? I mean, the DK's have their one time death save , so they could survibe the fall, but if there was a monster down there, it could easily take advantage of their non-existant HP and one shot them.
@@filipvadas7602 Not really. It was like if there was such a monster, he would be quite powerfull to be able to live in such a place. As for the DK's HP ability, I believe there has to be a certain HP left to trigger it. Maybe even a full HP bar is not enough to counter the fall dmg. Its all a theory ofc, there is no info about the rift other than its over the surface dimentions.
10:40 So it's established in one of the early LN that Ainz has enough damage resistance to drop 1 km before he feels any fall damage. I guess it depends on how deep the chasm is

Of COURSE Ainz collects the Rare-spawn Dragon-Hikkikimori. Demiurge understands "The Plan".... 😱 Smile and wave boys, just smile and wave.....
Like the reactions. BTW -- When you get to the next episode, the subtitles make a HUGE mistake. I've been told that the Japanese voice actors get it right. I do know that the same mistake was made in the subtitles at the end of this episode when he was talking to Demiurge and the English Dub got it right. Very Minor but necessary spoiler: There is a HUGE timeskip between this episode and the next one. In this missing time is when the upcoming movie happens. The subtitles call both the Slane Theocracy and the Roble Holy Kingdom "the theocracy". Ainz will be sending (after events of the movie) grain through the kingdom to the Roble Holy Kingdom to assist them and their nobles will side with the Sorcerer Kingdom.
The reason the leader did not get it was because he did not know that they were stronger than wins and did not want to serve someone weaker than the dragons and lose their protection
"No, I'm not thinking that hard about it..." "I understand! These things are so trivial to you that it takes no effort on your part to come up with these masterful plans! I am in total and complete awe!" "... uh yes, I'm glad you noticed..."
The Quagoa clan leader was not trash for his actions in the slightest. He had no way to know their power other than their (from his perspective foolish) confidence to show up as only a pair until Shalltear killed several thousand of them rather easily in the matter of a few seconds. At that point he knew there was literally nothing he could do, not even run away- which is why he yelled "WHERE?!" at the Quagoa that said they needed to flee.
It wasn't focused on in the episode but Aura essentially trapped them in a pocket dimension with that scroll so none of them could escape during the massacre.
I don't think Ainz can take fall damage. Pretty sure one of the early things he did in this world for personal testing, was fly up to the top of the worlds atmosphere, and let gravity drop him to the surface, taking no damage.
I just wanted to let you know the reason why everything keeps just working out for him is because he has an ability that makes him really lucky in the LN so, even when he doesn't mean for something to happen it will work out in his favor.
Unless you can provide an actual specified example from the LN, I can recall no such thing being stated, just theories that his own flavor text of his class/charactr is influencing him just like it does the NPCs

also in the LN its explained ainz has insane luck or some passive ability to manifist what he wants when pandora's actor had him flip a coin 100 times and ainz had it land 99/100 times on tails, or so i have heard other people bring up (at least i think this was it, someone will probably correct me if im wrong on this)
whatever the case is, hes not as helpless as he appears to be in these things, either he really is subconsciously getting massive intellgence buffs from his class and stats, or insane luck or something in between.
@@KalisaFox Heya are you sure that this coin flip thingy hapened, just asking out of curiosity, since I did listen to all the light novels but obviously I didnt catch every single sentence that was in the audiobook, only the main story pieces. Mah man
You missed something there aren't a few exits for auras world item there's only 1 but there's 40 possible exits and unlike basically every world item where you have to beat the player to gain possession with this world item you just have to escape the world so he had hanzo guarding the only exit ntm it can make basically any world one with freezing temperatures where you take constant frost damage lava world constant fire damage and so forth useful world item though almost never used as it's a risk to use also the reason the quoga didn't submit immediately is because the leader didn't know if they where stronger then the dragon lord he had no problem submitting if he knew this but as aura and Shalltear have no facial hair he couldn't read there expressions there overconfidence was apparent but since he found it impossible for just 2 people to take on 60k as even the miniscule damage that each quaga cause would eventually even defeat dragon lords he just didn't see how 2 could beat 60k so he came to the conclusion that they where stronger but bluffing about being able to beat them all why he declined the offer and attacked
Int was not a stat in Yggdrasil, that theory is stupid.
Would she just tell them that they already schooled the dragons, they would bow right away
Ah him and the blood emperor will become the best of friends. Two leaders suffering the same pain under Aniz
Not to mention the quagoa were told to kill a majority of themselves even if they did agree
Yep, that's why I actually felt sorry for the Quagoa cause they really didn't have a chance
it's not that they might not be strong even though they walked up on your army.
Yeah and the leader was actually quite smart, instead of their people killing one another he sacrificed them as trump cards in order to get that number Ains wanted.
thats the difference between Shalltear and Ainz. Remember how Ainz showed how fking strong they are to the lizardmen?
I knew ainz can touch people's hearts but he took it to a new level
Imagine when everyone else will hear such "heartbreaking" news. It's like Ainz could "grasp their hearts" without even being anywhere near them. I'm sure their "hearts will explode" after so much pressure.
at first it look like he was just going to trick them in to thinking he can. but now i know it not a trick to show he do have there heart any time.

Just a little piece of extra info that was cut from this episode for being too graphic
the quagoa didn't sent any children to get grinded by Shalltear, instead he told the warriors to kill all the children until there were only 2,000 left.
big sad
Fun fact: In the LN Ainz also wondered if he could take fall damage. Short answer; terminal velocity ain’t high enough level to do damage.
It's a little confusing, but essentially when the Clan Lord tell Shalltear "I have 60k strong army behind me, so it is difficult to just surrender with no good reason."
The negotiation is over at that point, because he didn't immediately give her a Yes.
Shalltear got tired of being called a chair, so she became a meatgrinder
She went from furniture to kitchen appliance.

@@Solus3D no. It's a translation error.
Do not worry, the subs were fixed to say Holy kingdom.
They’re way ahead, they probably have already seen the latest episode.
I thought it was weird that Ainz would be helping the Theocracy lol. Glad to see that's just an error
8:00 It's kinda hard to just surrender without any information whatsoever ... The Shalltear level of power is just completely unexpected.
Zanac is my favorite character in the kingdom, because even though he's not as charismatic as the first prince, or as genius just like princess renner. He is the best candidate to be the king, because he actually really care about the kingdom and it's people. And he also not power hungry as the first prince or sociopath like renner.
Don't forget
Gazef
Raeven
Hilma and eight fingers
Evileye
Its pretty ironic that Zanac and the Eight Fingers go from being schemers in their own right to actually caring about the fate of the Kingdom and the people close to them when confronted with Ains and the possibility of antagonising him
Demiurge even said it himself in season 3 it’s easier to predict and understand a intelligent person but a dumb one is unpredictable like ainz
💀
To be fair to the lord of the Quagoa when he approached Shalltear he was willing to negotiate surrender. But Shalltear was like nope, you only get to say yes or no to surrender and we aren’t going to say anything else. It is more so the pettiness of the guardians that caused that massacre more than anything.
Hejinmal proving he's the smartest of the dragons!
Interesting LN lore: dragons can smell the value of things, and Hejinmal wondered if too much reading had ruined his sense of smell when he met Ainz and his impossibly expensive gear.
I love how the dragon was in his room just reading that's why he has his fatty stomach
... And this is how Shalltear unlocked a new kink...
Ainz actually had mentions how he likes to fight, he mentions how counters need to be had against time magic and instant death magic, for him that pvp 101, because that's exactly what he does
Y'all should definitely watch drifters. It's a great watch about historical or mythical figures being transported in another world
Fun Facts:
The large scroll Aura used was a World Item called Depiction of Nature and Society.
And the reason why Shalltear and Ains weren't worried about being in the range wa because they each had their own World Item , which immediately allowed them to chose whether they wanted to be effected by Depiction of Nature & Society or not
As for the Quagoa, there was no way for the leader to know how strong Shalltead was, for all he knew it was just a bluff.
Ainz is so nice he touches everyone hearts

If I remember right Shaltear's conditions were submit or we kill your people till 10,000 remain. Since he didn't submit right away
he strategically sacrificed them since there was no turning back. Shaltear was going to kill them all regardless since they didn't
instantly kneel. Can't really fault that leader after that.
Aw. Y’all missed the joke where he accidentally said “10000 years.” I busted my gut laughing at that.
They literally showed it
"what if ainz just fell into the chasm" Ainz : *FLY* or *MASS FLY* or *GREATER TELEPORTATION*
Ainz had been testing to see if this could be an effective way to drop off his undead army
Like the soul eaters (the undead horses) who ainz would have dropped from the sky into cities, but he said the problem wasn’t that the soul eaters died, it was that they were just oftentimes stuck in the holes they created on impact.
Basically, an undead horse with significantly less HP or defenses than ainz could survive a farther fall, which is important because there is no terminal velocity in the new world, it’s 9.8 meters per second per second endlessly
Ah yes, the biggest enemy of all Player: Fall Damage.
it has claimed many poor souls *slautes the fallen*
They didn't really give them a show of strength first
Those death knights were miss identified as Golems and the leader didn't get to know their power firsthand. He got his info from a panicking survivor
And nobody in this world expects or even believes the power of Nazerick could exist, unless they've seen it firsthand.
If you didn't have a background of animes and shows, and then two people alone showed up to take you down, then you wouldn't think they're OP. You'd just think they're crazy or stupid
A proper show of strength would have been Shalltear using some magic to destroy a district or two of the city and THEN telling them to surrender
Unlike my father I came back here with the quickness of seeing this drop.

Cool little tidbit about the Chasm, in the Light Novel Ains actually threw a rock in ,listened for a full minute and didn't even hear the sound of it falling to the ground
Surmising that something down there killed the Death Knights after they fell down (this is because the Death Knights have a one-time death save that puts them at 1HP instead of being killed, so they could have survived the fall no problem, but that something else was probably down there that took advantage of their weakened state)
Not if they bounced

Does the secondary perk work if the enemy in question has an immunity or resistance to stun?
@@acgearsandarms1343 If the enemy doesn't get stunned from the spell's secondary effects than they'll be stupefied.
@@comicsans6264 In terms of Yggdrasil’s game they are two separate status effects, yes? If so, then I take your point. Either way, Grasp Heart is rather good for an opening attack in a PvP match whether the one hit kill works or not.
3:22 Ugh, My Stomach Hurts 🤣
"Grasp Heart" is a ninth tier spell that guaranties a sure hit kill at every use.
I don't think any series in recent memory has more mood whiplash than Overlord.
2:48 ~ "Her son is gonna die"
Actually, most of them survived because they sent the only one "smart" enough to not challenge Ainz.
When the Quagoa limbs were flying in the air, all I could think was "HIM.HIM.HER.HIM.BODIES.BODIES.BODIES.BODIES!!!!!!!".
Well it stopped because his parents died and he had to work to live
@@filipvadas7602 Or they fell twice. They hit a big rock and kept bouncing down.

I do know that the same mistake was made in the subtitles at the end of this episode when he was talking to Demiurge and the English Dub got it right.
Very Minor but necessary spoiler:
There is a HUGE timeskip between this episode and the next one.

Next episode the translator got some of the subtitles wrong. Every time it says the theocracy it’s actually the sacred kingdom
Not even the next episode
