Yes, he's 33 years old. Yes, he may be past his prime. But nothing will change the fact that Ma Long is the undisputed GOAT in table tennis, and I will never rule him out for winning another major title before he finally retires. He's the one who almost all of the current top players have copied and emulated and rightly so. I will always root for him no matter where he goes from here on out because I've had the most thrilling moments watching him play throughout his glorious career. There will never be another one quite like him.

Ma long didnt had enough motivation in the last set,you can clearly see his not determined so he was a bit passive and gave Wang too many chances,but u cant blame Ma Long for that because there were lots of matches for a player to play in a single day,so players could get mentally frustrated due to this,and there body doesn't cooperate with their mind.But Ma Long is still the GOAT because he fighted until the end and tried his best.and he will be more determined in the next tournaments hopefully if they dont have a rough routine.
Ma Long also got a cursed draw. He would’ve been tired from his match with Lin.

Both players were in breach of the Table Tennis rule 2.6.4 as codified in the ITTF Handbook.
Wang and Ma throw the ball in the air and for a brief moment, the ball is hidden by their heads just before they strike it with their bats.
For Wang, he has an added violation of the rules by serving into rather than behind his 'endline'.
They should both be sanctioned so that all others begin to fall in line.
For me, the referees are not doing their jobs and this is unacceptable - enforce the damn rules.
