Hello! I thank you so much for this tutorial! I wrote down the notes and the tones on a music sheet paper so I could practice it as well, as I'm a big fan of the Untamed. I also bought a C key dizi (it is from eBay, I mostly got it because it has Chenqing on it which I wanted for cosplay, but it IS a bamboo dizi so I wanted to learn to play one song at least.
But I have a problem: every time I come to the fifth note (which is the 5 or G note), mine makes a completely different sound. I have never play a wind instrument before so I have no prior knowledge or practice aside from when I got Chenqing. I read in the comments that someone else had the same problem too. Is it just me playing wrong or is it something with the dizi? Could you perhaps do another video on the same key explaining how exactly you do the fingering on the dizi?

How do you play different octaves? And how can you take such a long breath? After 2 seconds, my air goes out and I cannot blow the note long. Any tips? I watched videos on how to blow the dizi c key, but it does not help me alot

you may play 6 .7 first. then 5.
You can't make sound on 5 because one or some of the holes of the flute aren't closed tight enough
