Who is still rewatching this masterpiece in 2022? I can’t get over it and I know that any drama I watch in the future can never compare to this one... this is the first time I’ve actually had post drama sadness, and it hurts so fricking much. But I still want to rewatch it and also watch the special edition and read the novel :,) congrats to those who watched through all 50 episodes and rewatched this! It has been a long journey :,)
The thing that i learned after watching untamed are 1 no one can judge who is good or who is evil 2 gender,appearance, age nothing matters when it comes to true love 3 Don't be too kind hearted the world will take advantage of you till you break 4 regret is something that lasts for a long time 5 live an unrestrained life like wei ying and have principles like lan zhan 6 be positive who cares what others think when your heart is as clear as crystal 7 don't judge too early those thousand new faces you see everyday has their own side of story 8 being different doesn't necessarily means being evil Wow untamed really taught me a lot of things
Re-watching this masterpiece again in 2023. I can't seriously get over this drama, specially our Lan Zhan and Wei Wuxian❤❤ Hats off to all the people who got involved in the production of this

I think all of us who follow this series ,agree that it's the most wonderful master piece we have seen ,I saw it in 2019 and until now 2023 I have not stopped watching it ,because I need it every time I am sad just seeing Lan Zhan and Wei Wuxian ,my heart beat faster and I feel revived I 'm addicted 😊 .
The difference about The Untamed from other BL dramas is that They taught us about the real world we are living. A judgemental society full of greed, selfishness and jealousy. But There are also people out there with good heart and intentions..All of the actors did a great job, and they made all the characters in the novel alive.Even the villains made a great impact to all the viewers. .
CQL focuses not only the relationship between the leads, but other characters and the overall frame. It's so relatable, mob mentality is a huge problem ever since the dawn of time. There is no dead set villain character, everyone has an understandable back story. The soundtrack is extremely beautiful and makes you feel like there's a whole world to travel and see.
Every series are different not the untamed only teach that and their might be some things it didn't teach and other does x) every series is différents and have their own feeling, teaching to us

I avoided this show for over a year because I thought it was too long. Two weeks ago I watched it and became addicted. Now I'm back to rewatch it after also reading the novel, the manhua, and watching the donghua and countless crack videos. Don't judge me. Every time I rewatch this series I find something new that give more meaning to storyline. This is kinda drama you can rewatch so many times without getting tired. It was refreshing. ❤

Yes I find new things after each rewatch that I missed and that excites me. Plus I like watching others analysis of the story because it helps me to understand it on another level.
Once you have seen the entire series and then read the novel, the first episode hits so hard. The level of love LWJ has for WWX…I’m crying all over again…

So true... The feeling I had after finishing The Untamed is the exact same feeling I had when I finished Nirvana in Fire. Both of these series just destroyed me and all I wanted to do when I finished them was rewatch the series again and again. These are two of my favorite series in any language ever, and I will probably never, ever be ready to let go of Wei Wuxian and Mei Changsu.
I don't re-watch C-dramas often (the only other one is The Taoism Grandmaster), but here I am, starting over from EP 1 again! If you're back here re-watching too, give a thumb so I know it's not just me.

It is possible to make a love story in which there is a great deal of sex and kissing. The thing is it's often used to replace the acting out in to displaying the subcontext they have out on display here. The actors and directors are often of the opinion since they have explicit context they don't need this subcontext. They're wrong.

My heart changed for the better after watching The Untamed. Why does it feel like someone took my heart out, wrenched it and put it back. I remember how I always felt like everything was grey before but at the second I had finished the last episode where Wei Wuxian hears his soulmates voice call his name and smiles, everything felt so colorful. The Untamed is the cause of my euphoria. I don’t know how to explain it. Nothing has ever touched me the way this drama did and still does. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to stop thinking about it, it’s an addiction I’m not going to deny. The Untamed really did change my life. For the first time I understood what love & loyalty truly is about. It made me feel so many emotions at the same time and I just got so attached to the characters. I wholeheartedly love, respect and admire them. I know it sounds like I’m exaggerating but this is how I truly feel. Am I weird if I say that it’s a part of who I am? The love I have for it is endless and indescribable. I don’t know how to describe it all cause I feel so emotional and overwhelmed. I will never get over The Untamed, never. Thank you to everyone who made this masterpiece possible. I will forever be thankful.

I've got to tell all those people who told that it's impossible to move on from these series are absolute right. This is rare masterpiece that connects directly to your heart. You simple find all the other shows dull and meaningless. I can't even watch those ongoing shows that I've been waiting new seasons.
Before watching The Untamed: Watched dozens of Wuxia dramas from start to finish, barely stopping. After watching The Untamed: Haven't been able to watch another C-drama from start to finish yet. Before watching The Untamed: Watched many same-sex themed movies for over 40 years and was nearly always disappointed. After watching The Untamed: Don't care if I see another same-sex themed film. I've already seen the best love story ever put on film, and I can't even imagine I might find one half as good.

When you watch Wei Wuxian die for the first time it doesn't make such an impact because we don't have emotional attachment to him at first, but after watching him for the second time and reading the novel his death hurts like hell now

Its my first comment on any drama. I watched this series in feb 2023 and here I am rewatching it again. There is something about this series that makes you keep coming back. Maybe it's the undying love between lan zhan and wei ying, maybe its wei ying's persistence to stay kind even though the whole world wronged him, maybe its lan zhan's trust in wei ying despite having to go against his clan's rules, maybe its the heartbreaking story of each and every character.. you cannot just watch it one time and be satisfied with it. It is one of a kind and I don't think any other drama would ever be able to recreate the magic and emotions of The Untamed ❤

Re-watching this again, I can never get over 'the untamed' the first bl I ever watched and my favorite always and forever. This show led me to the world of bl, where there is an entry but no exit. And the chemistry between yizhan/wangxian is everything. Wanna see them together in a series again.

To be very honest i don't prefer chinese dramas and the length of episodes put me off from starting but i'm sooo glad i decided to stick to it and after the first 5 minutes i was hooked. this is such a special drama i don't think i'll be able to get over it for a long time. When you first start watching this drama. You'll be so confused sometime if you didn't read the noval before like me. I was so confused and didn't really get what going on but everything will make sense to you after you finished all the episodes and you will eagerly wanting to know more and more of this beautiful story. At my first time watching, I didn't really cry that much when there is sad scenes such as when wei ying's jie jie die, when wei ying fall off the cliff and lan zhan reached out to save him, when wei ning was killed, when jiang cheng found out about the golden core and more. You will find yourself cried even more after when you rewatched it again and again because you've realized how sad it is😭. You will realized more and more of how much lan zhan love for wei ying and how much every character went through, especially wei wuxian's life. I felt very sad for him😭
Immy basically one of the family members of mo clan resurrected a demonic sect leader who was feared by all sects. His name was Wei Wu xian. This person Mo wanted Wei Wu xian to avenge him in return he sacrificed his body & soul as payment. This second childe lan was someone he knew from his previous life. Because he was a demonic sect leader & was resurrected, he feared for his life if he encounter with Second Childe Lan from Gusu clan.

They casted actors and actresses very well, they also potrayed the plot well. I mean, as a novel fan.. Tho romantic related was cut but i still found so many hints. There are also many other things to learn in this drama abt right and wrong, black and white, fame ND reputation, etc. The side stories are also so interesting, it keeps one hooked up to the story unlike other dramas where I skip side stories😅 We can not even hate the villains here. Other novels of MXTX are also amazing like Heaven's Official Blessing and Scum Village Life Saving System. She has been working on her 4th novel now. The anime versions are coming soon. The drama version of HOB is also in process. I have a lot of expectations with HOB drama version after watching The Untamed..

So true... The feeling I had after finishing The Untamed is the exact same feeling I had when I finished Nirvana in Fire. Both of these series just destroyed me and all I wanted to do when I finished them was rewatch the series again and again. These are two of my favorite series in any language ever, and I will probably never, ever be ready to let go of Wei Wuxian and Mei Changsu.

My heart changed for the better after watching The Untamed. Why does it feel like someone took my heart out, wrenched it and put it back. I remember how I always felt like everything was grey before but at the second I had finished the last episode where Wei Wuxian hears his soulmates voice call his name and smiles, everything felt so colorful. The Untamed is the cause of my euphoria. I don’t know how to explain it. Nothing has ever touched me the way this drama did and still does. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to stop thinking about it, it’s an addiction I’m not going to deny. The Untamed really did change my life. For the first time I understood what love & loyalty truly is about. It made me feel so many emotions at the same time and I just got so attached to the characters. I wholeheartedly love, respect and admire them. I know it sounds like I’m exaggerating but this is how I truly feel. Am I weird if I say that it’s a part of who I am? The love I have for it is endless and indescribable. I don’t know how to describe it all cause I feel so emotional and overwhelmed. I will never get over The Untamed, never. Thank you to everyone who made this masterpiece possible. I will forever be thankful.

Its my first comment on any drama. I watched this series in feb 2023 and here I am rewatching it again. There is something about this series that makes you keep coming back. Maybe it's the undying love between lan zhan and wei ying, maybe its wei ying's persistence to stay kind even though the whole world wronged him, maybe its lan zhan's trust in wei ying despite having to go against his clan's rules, maybe its the heartbreaking story of each and every character.. you cannot just watch it one time and be satisfied with it. It is one of a kind and I don't think any other drama would ever be able to recreate the magic and emotions of The Untamed ❤

Re-watching this again, I can never get over 'the untamed' the first bl I ever watched and my favorite always and forever. This show led me to the world of bl, where there is an entry but no exit. And the chemistry between yizhan/wangxian is everything. Wanna see them together in a series again.

To be very honest i don't prefer chinese dramas and the length of episodes put me off from starting but i'm sooo glad i decided to stick to it and after the first 5 minutes i was hooked. this is such a special drama i don't think i'll be able to get over it for a long time. Xiao Zhan what an incredible actor he made me feel every emotion he was feeling

When you first start watching this drama. You'll be so confused sometime if you didn't read the noval before like me. I was so confused and didn't really get what going on but everything will make sense to you after you finished all the episodes and you will eagerly wanting to know more and more of this beautiful story. At my first time watching, I didn't really cry that much when there is sad scenes such as when wei ying's jie jie die, when wei ying fall off the cliff and lan zhan reached out to save him, when wei ning was killed, when jiang cheng found out about the golden core and more. You will find yourself cried even more after when you rewatched it again and again because you've realized how sad it is😭. You will realized more and more of how much lan zhan love for wei ying and how much every character went through, especially wei wuxian's life. I felt very sad for him😭

Thanks to all crew and staffs for bring this amazing story to live. They casted actors and actresses very well, they also potrayed the plot well. I mean, as a novel fan.. Tho romantic related was cut but i still found so many hints. They didn't really cut it, they just want us to find every hidden hints and details by ourself xD well nice. There are also many other things to learn in this drama abt right and wrong, black and white, fame ND reputation, etc. The side stories are also so interesting, it keeps one hooked up to the story unlike other dramas where I skip side stories😅
We can not even hate the villains here.
Other novels of MXTX are also amazing like Heaven's Official Blessing and Scum Village Life Saving System. She has been working on her 4th novel now. The anime versions are coming soon.
The drama version of HOB is also in process. I have a lot of expectations with HOB drama version after watching The Untamed..
