I was just thinking of getting back into ping pong and haven’t played for about 40 years and use to be pretty good. I don’t care anymore about those what ppl. say as much But this level of ping pong has gotten so crazy and I need to start practicing to even think I’m a good player haha! Hey, but at least i aspire to always be the best and try.
If you haven't tried it already, try watching table tennis matches at a slower speed. It makes it so much more enjoyable seeing how the players position themselves and their paddles while competing. I personally watch at 0.25 playback speed.
Swedish table tennis went from world class to European average. What a shame... The only country with a positive trend is Japan. China has managed to remain the dominating country which is impressive. They are way better than every other country.
You are like 8 years outdated man... They used to be on average after Waldner and Persson retirement, then new players appeared, like Karlsson, Falck and Moregardh, which actually made them be better than TPE and Korea, even possibly Germany
