    Learn to soft solder! Watch as I create this Big, Easy Heart Pendant with wire and low-temp soft solder. No torch or flame is needed! I solder with a soldering iron and lead-free solder to create beautiful, unique jewelry. Low-temp soft soldered jewelry is easy, accessible, and fun. This project is perfect for folks who are new to soft soldering or who may already have some soldering iron experience. In this video I will create the basic heart project. In my next video I will show you how more experienced solderers can take it a step further and turn this finished heart into an entirely new project! I used silver plated wire but you certainly could use copper! Thanks for watching 🌻

    Wonderful! Do you mind sharing the brand of solder you use? it beads up so nicely!!

      Hi Dawn, I usually use just any lead-free generic (silver-tin mix) but also have one linked in the description below the video that works well. If your solder is not beading up well, it is more likely to be your iron temp that needs to be adjusted and not the solder itself, and using enough flux. Hope this helps and thanks for watching! 🌻

    Hi Laura,
    I’m a great fan all the way in California 😁. I have all my tools ready to start soldering and very excited. Question - what is the surface you’re working on? Is that waxed paper or something else? Thanks so much 🥰

    Hello great video I was just wondering what temperature is your iron set at when you're making the solder balls I can never get them right.

      @LauraBethLove  9 місяців тому

      I usually turn down my iron a bit - you really have to play around with your iron to find out what temp works best for you, there is no one-size-fits-all temperature that works for everyone!

    Where can I find the flexible rubber stamps you use in your solder designs? The only ones I found were on Etsy and the seller did not know if they would tolerate hot solder

      Dianne check the video description for more info and links, they must be vulcanized stamps

      I used silver plated wire. You can also use copper or standard craft wire.

      In another comment she said she turns it down, but all irons are different so you just need to practice
