4 showers in Florida where in coming water is 70*. In Philadelphia in February my in coming water was 38*. So maybe 2 showers! This is the starting point for buying a tankless. I have one since 2011 in Nat. Gas.
I have a Braun Tankless water heater. I love it except I have to keep relighting the flame. It is hard to do. The button needs to be pushed from the far right to the middle of heater. While you do that you have to periodically push your finger down on the the button on the far right. This releases some of the air. Then you have to keep your thumb on the button for five minutes and them slowly release it and push the button all the way to the right. It is an older model so I am sure it has all metal parts. Try to be relaxed and push buttons lightly but all the way down.

I'm a little confused how this video was uploaded on 12th Jan 2018 but the desription says best for 2021. I understand you can change the pinned commet and descriptions, but they are all the same as in the video
110v ones don't work worth a shit... 220v ones at 150A to 250A work very nice... Remember brothers and sisters...., that AMPS...., LOTS of Amps... Get a gas one if you want a really good heater... Two in a house at either end will satisfy almost every need........................... Rinanni makes a very good 200,000 BTU one...
I have a propane tankless water heater and it pushes out 10 gpm , very cost efficient to operate but more up front, electric tankless does not seem that great considering all the energy it will take to heat so quickly
On other channel youtube poster some comments said no good. Like I think old way is best. If this is life warranty or 29 or at least 8 I be ok, or like a tv that used to last ages. Electric can go bad or stuff wrong with it.
As a professional that installs tankless water heaters the way to go is natural gas. Don’t bother with tankless electric water heaters. In most cases it requires upgrading your electrical service from 200 to 400 amp to be done correctly and up to code.
I agree with you but at places where natural gas is not an option this is the only solution. I have personaly the Stiebel Eltron and I am really happy with it.
I extended my house and needed to buy a larger unit for the 3 showers that I have in my house and I went with the Stiebel Eltron mentioned above in the description a I went with the 24kW but we rarely use all the showers all at the same time, and for now I don't have any complaints, If you plan to use them all at same time often or you live in some colder area would recommend to go with the 29 kW from the same product.
The same problem might that be one would have to upgrade their natural gas service to accommodate a tankless water heater. In my house, unfortunately, gas service is not an option at all.
Ben is not entirely correct in his statement. A 200 amp service is fine for most residential tankless electric water heater applications. The requirements of the specific installation are determined by the required flow rate (in gpm) and the temperature rise. Once gpm and temperature rise are known, then you can pick the unit needed...this will tell you how many amps are required.
Too funny! I have an electric Eco Smart 27 that died in less than 3 years. Buyer BEWARE! Mine started heating water and caused the pipes to bang like hell even when it was not in use. The plumber and I found it was hot even when no water was running through it. You'll be sorry if you get rooked with one of these junkpiles.

What's something small I can use in a camper? I live in it 6 months/year with 2 kids. One shower one sink.
depending on your water flow the ir-234POU should handle the shower and sink more than enough.

I have the same question?
How did it work for you?
I have a siogreen and it fluctuates the temperature up and down, it should be called warm water on demand.
How much demand do you have at once?
@@DrewVerdin I fixed the problem and I am very happy with this product, and will buy again.

That depends.
Installed my eco 27 2 yrs ago the plastic valve in the unit broke this week and flooded the house and ruined wood floor
Was that the ECO that was recommended here?

Rheem all the way!

Is there a tankless water heater that heats up water to a boiling point?

@Klaus Van Heusen Thanks for the explanation.

Woter hiter how many?
Does not say what electric is required

The whole Ecosmart brand is crap. 99.2% efficiency is only possible in a perfect world that doesn't exist.
You don't mention power, you don't mention price. Worthless.

Electric tankless are a waste. They last less then 5 years. They run on 3 double 40 amp breakers. They draw a ton of energy
