I really enjoyed the video my friend! The water coming out of the bottom of that dam was really an amazing color. I am definitely adding this ride to my shortlist. 🍻😎
Thanks for the Video Lee. I've always enjoyed your trips and now can no longer ride due to work injuries I live vicariously through you. Have a great ride and a better tomorrow.
Richard, this is Lori "the supporting wife". My ability to ride and travel like this has become severely hampered by physical limitations as well. I always say to Lee, "Get out there, do it, see it, live it FOR me while you are still physically able to do so." I also tell him to carry me in his pocket so I can peak out occasionally and see what is going on!
Great video, enjoyed watching your adventures on this NW Passage route. I appreciate the effort you take to put together the video, narration, and music to make this an enjoyable watch!
The tracks are available for download. Link in the description. I’ve ridden/hiked the areas multiple times in the past 40 years in Washington. 😊 It’s easily done in a 4x4. Thanks for riding with me. ~Grizz
Looks like you have another great ride ahead of you! Beautiful areas so far...enjoy and be safe Grizz! I'm looking forward to your next video. Thanks for the adventure!
I can tell you I have had a sneak peek at the episodes coming up. They are just right; the perfect length to leave you wanting another dose! Grizz invest a lot of time in choosing not just which piece of music, but how to time it all so perfectly with what you see on the screen. He has definitely grown in his production and editing skills. Okay, I am a little proud of my guy. 😅
I crossed Washington after attending a BMW ralley in Republic, around 2015. Really enjoyed riding 2, across the state, including catching the ferry, at Fort Casey to Port Townsend, see a friend in Bellingham. Washington is really a bikers Paradise.
Another great GrizzLee video. I wasn't aware you could ride across Diablo Dam. Very cool. I'm not sure when you did this ride, but I just got back from our club camp in Oroville today. We rode through Palmer Lake, then over to Chesaw and Curlew yesterday and it was beautiful. It would have been mighty cold camping at 6000' last weekend. Keep them coming.
@@Wayne-1150 Hey buddy, I wanted to come to the campout, but I had a conflict. I did this ride a couple of weeks ago. Weather was turning then. Just a few days after I got back from BC … in the rain. . Trying to sneak in all the riding I could. Hope you can ride this route someday. It’s close by for you and big adv bike friendly. Btw, one can never be sure if the Diablo dam road is open. It’s been a 50/50 chance every time I go. Cheers mate. ~Grizz
@@RubiKonAdventures I've done parts of this route. Winthrop over the top to Touts Coullee is nice. I'm looking forward to the rest of it. While you were riding this route I was riding in Ireland. 14 days on rented bikes on the Wild Atlantic Way. A bucket list item for me. Highly recommended.
Hey, nice video! Im very interested in the route. We have spent a lot of time in the Cascades. When will part 2 come out? New subscriber, just came across your channel. Excellent content, we live in North Snohomish County.
Nice new ride i see. I have done the route countless times up to when you cross 97. Planning on this full route next summer. But the big issue i have is I dont have a full route when i add it to GAIA. A few spots i would need to connect in my own. Even on my Garmin it wont all load up as a complete route. Is this normal?
Hmmm.. I didn’t have that issue. Have not tried GAIA … cancelled my subscription earlier this year when they raised the price 100% 😢 Did you get the tracks from BestRest? They are free to download. David provides an itinerary with a map as well in the download. FYI… stay tuned. In one of the episodes I had issues with the tracks in Montana. It was quite confusing. Can connect with me on ADVRider if needed. Cheers mate. ~GrizzLee
@@RubiKonAdventures Thanks. Yeah i got it from them. Actaully stoped by their place in Idaho a few years back. I did read on their site that some issues have been reported. So i will try it on my Computer, then upload it to my Garmin that way and see of it works. The Missing spots i can easily connect. Just would be nice to have the full route. I always just do a loop. Up to the top and then bad down to Conconully and head back it and connect with NF37 and ride it back into Winthrop. I just call it the Winthrop loop.
@@RubiKonAdventures yeah thats where i was getting it. I figured it out finally. Had to download it stright into Garmin explorer. Now loaded all up with POI's included. Thanks looking forward to the ride. And am pretty darn close to you being down here in LS. A block off hwy9.
So good to see a video! How different is this route vs the one you and your spouse did a few years ago? But very enjoyable video! High Meadows camp was absolutely perfect Lee!
It is the same route. Unfortunately my spouse can no longer ride due to health issues. I did add the Montana portions (see further episodes) with additional footage to add new perspective. Hope you enjoy the series. That camp was spectacular for sure and unexpected treat, Thanks for riding along. ~Grizz
