Good video brother, You will be fine no issues how you have the tear drop ends for the center braces. It's actually all the center 4 ones around the center diff I replace with aluminum because there the hardest to get to, the four closer to the towers I leave plastic as a break away point and easy to replace... Almost every bash or so I break one but I have plenty spare .... But you will be fine either way brother Gotta say the Outcast in all it's various forms, is my favorite ❤❤ These new EXB RTR's are The Best Value 8s rig right now! Love my XMaxx but for $900 or so, the electronics, Drivetrain, 7075 upgrades, and handling make it a no Brainerd. Out the box it literally needs nothing until you start breaking stuff.... But that's not as easy now..... XMaxx needs $200 easy out the box (trash drivetrain) and that's not even replacing the electronics that are not near as good as the 8s Arrma electronics... And if your really sending an Xmaxx IMHO you need some strength mods like HD Arms, Basher Bar, Bulkhead Covers, HR Tiebars to hold it together for longevity..... The Arrma 8s EXB RTR Rigs you will break some arms at times and eventually you might need other M2C stuff for bigger sends or bad landings 😂😂 but your good out the box IMHO My boy Thunder proved that with 6 rounds of VS, and the Xmaxx only won 1 round.... I enjoyed my X-maxx. I've had many. I just got tired of it. There was nothing terrible or anything like that. I just found I wasn't excited to drive it anymore. What's weird about my new Arrma 8s rigs is that I do find they are more durable than my early rtrs. I found I broke arms, bent drive shafts, and a few other things a lot more on these rtr trucks, than I do on the exbs. I know the improvements on the exb trucks. But I just find a major difference in durability. That's a good thing ;) .
Another great outing with the 8s Outcast EXB RTR Bro. The big girl is looking good out there. Good call on the tear drop braces ends they're definitely a must especially the lower ones which are prone to break and a bitch to swap. Yes I'd recommend 39t spur, works better with 1100kv motor overall. Awesome session my friend. The stock tires seem to perform better over the method RC Imo.
They are two different sets of tires. The Method's let you really throw the truck around and are great on pavement. Take where I was running today. Ripping around on the pavement and grass. On the Method's they do a great job over all, and don't show any wear after I run. The Backflips after today now have a slight wear showing. Yeah, I need to suck it up and spend the $50 and get the 39t. Just $50 for a gear!
I’m running 25/39 on mine. There is definitely something to be said about how a physically smaller and lighter gear set spools up and reacts, gear ratios aside there is certainly a difference even with the supposed same ratios.
@@tdgshadow90 motor and esc temps are fine, the new electronics are amazing. I am gonna go with a max5 soon though, I’m on 28/39 with the proline masher X now, and the esc while not hot seems to just get over loaded, motor is still good temp wise though.
I don't have a 8s , yet I sure do want one but until I Master my Outcast 4s V2. I feel like I have not earned that privilege as of yet but.My day is coming and when it dose this home will gladly own a 8s outcast.
30t spur 1.5mod 20t pinion wakes that 1100kv up with not bad temperature 140's°F, after bash in fall weather. Spools fast and has as decent top speed in the mid 60's mph

Hey so I bought my outcast 8s exb for Christmas and Everytime I hit throttle it sounds like it clicks a bit and I was wondering if yours does the same like the first time couple of times you drove it. I'm wanting to know if I should just drive it or inspect it?
Nice video as always but why did you go back to the stock tires? And I have this truck running the stock gearing and finds that it over heats at times. Would changing the pinion help with this? Also I can not get my Outcast to backflip like I can my XRT. XRT control in the air seems to be much better.
Like BeautyBeastRC said.... what is your punch at? The OC8S will backflip a lot easier than my XRT ever did. The stock Arrma Backfllips i(n all sizes) are a great tire. One of the best bashing tire out there. I'll switch to the MethodRC tires depending on what I am doing. But again, the stock Backflips are a great tire.
My punch is set at 9 but one thing I noticed is that in the skate park where the ramp is I'm jumping up hill and watching your videos you're jumping onto a slight down hill. Going to trying to find a different spot and see if that will help me some. @@JasonPerrinRCVlogs

I think the other guys were going to replace all 8 rod ends, just prioritized wnd did the lowers first. They do look great. If I get this truck I was planning on those same upgrades first right off the bat...the rod ends and that servo saver axle.

You're definitely doing something wrong with your outcast if the xrt flips easier. Try upping the punch. 😎 👍
