Just started the game, and this was helpful. It would be helpful to me to explain even more basic ideas, such as how many hit points an avatar has, and how to increase them, and the best ways to skill up. Keep up the good work!
If you go into Skills and then go into the subsection of Attributes, you can see your health points :) If you want to increase it, I recommend doing a lot of Melee stuff and when you get a change to gain stamina skill points, take it. But i can do a video in the future going into more depth if you wish.
@@ScottyC93Official Maybe which skills apply to the various professions, and the best way to raise them up? Not sure if that's the right way to put it, and maybe the best way to raise the skill is just to grind it out, which would be a dull video perhaps. :)
@@davelong5112 entropia Wikipedia has breakdown of what skills effect which professions. Im using it to help get hp. I just used 39 attribute points from the codex. If you dont know what you want to do then save the codex until you know or have an idea of what you want to do.
Cereal Overdrive used to have a "beginners guide" for entropia every year, and that was a really helpfull guide, atleast for me. Was looking forward for those guides every year.. You could have a F2P-guide update every year or every half-year or something. Fill in the gaps you forget and learned throughout the past year? 🙂 And a friggin nice vid as always. 👏Absolutely love it.
I think I would only update it if I have something to update. But the game is ever evolving and there is always something new to learn, or some new way of doing something. So you never know, maybe an annual beginners guide would be good.
So I just did my Waiting on Supplies for the 3rd time, and i am hunting Shoggoths for the second round and I got a massive global for me with an awesome 20 ped weapon while watching your video... needless to say I have to watch the middle part again lol
I got a video coming out in the next few days (hopefully) part 2 is that, what to do next. Essentially a road map to hopefully give f2p players something to work with. Goals and best way to optimize your time.
In my experience the finds from fruit walking seem to work the same as claims at indoor mining locations. Fewer fruit/stones/dung "finds" but they are much larger. My all time record was 700+ Kaldon stones at Foma but that was many years ago.
@@ScottyC93Official omg i feel so dumb now! Hahaha thank you so much! Thank you for the content its sorely needed for people like me. Its appreciated so much!
Hey dude I still have all my gallard info from when I did the swunt stuff for Julien McBain if you want it I can send it to you. Just as another example of what players can visualize if they went the swunting route. Just let me know.

@@ScottyC93Official IDK I just started like 2 hours ago and it seems I cant get nowhere, the quests give jack for rewards ask questions in the rookie channel as the tutorial said to and get trolls, it seems the community is really toxic and not new player friendly at all. cant find a melee weapon, cant find the item you doing the sweating with, always out of ammo for the 2 guns I gotten for free. Oh yeah and I forgot the piece of armor I got for a quest reward that was practically destroyed when they gave it to me and it going to cost 3.4 peds to repair it
@@rtester40 Well the sweat tool is in your inventory, in the tools section. Rookie chat is a horrid place i agree. Melee weapons you can get from the trade terminals. If your starting free to play, its going to be a rough learning curve. It takes a while to understand things about the game. As for the armor thing, yeah i find that annoying too man.
@@ScottyC93Official Yeah I have to be f2play I live on a limited income. I use to the grind I use to play runescape all the time :) Also before I forget tyvm for the guide!
2 hours for 1000 bottles of sweat Sell for 2 PED for 1k bottles 1PED per hour. 1/10 = 0.1€/hour If your computer setup uses 300W it costs 0.06186€ for an hour. So you're wasting all that time to earn 0.038€/hour At lower level and when sweating for a long time it'll take you closer to 3 hours Just buy PEDs if you want to play
Or you could just skip going to the movies and instead deposit 20 bucks a month to make it a little more enjoyable. I played this game for a few years starting 2006, and it is a costly game to play if you want to get into the fun. One upside was, a couple of years after I stopped playing I got into financial trouble, but was able to withdraw $3000 from the game and make it through. If I hadn't been playing, I would have spent that money on consumables... In hindsight, the stock market would have been a much, much better option though.

@@ScottyC93Official Thanks for the info. If you're doing a full Newbie Guide series, that might be helpful, certainly helpful for at least one person!
Just for you Dave, I'll work on one next week :) Anything else you want me to touch on mate?

I did something for the 1st time, joined a sweating circle and it was actually fun. Had someone to heal and shoot dry animals.

Discord is probably the best way, or my business email my about section.

can anyone just kill you and take your items?
only in lootable PVP areas, the game will warn you about it if your close to it :)

The point to someone playing f2p is either they don't have the money due to a tight budget or they like the challenge.
If your hour of work on computer is worth to you ~0.8$ its big LOL. Sweating in just habbit for kids or real life noobs
Wtf is a global though
you know those drops at the top of your screen when people get a larger amount of ped? it's a global announcement, that's what he's referring to :)
$0.04 per hour lol
