First black player was Dennis Walker, played once under Busby and then moved to York City. Sadly passed in 2003 aged just 58 and his ashes were scattered at Old Trafford.

Listening to Webby talk about Remi brought a lump to the throat.....What a player, and talking about giving away memorabilia....I still have Dennis Laws shirt that my dad got from him at a sportsmans dinner when I was a kid...Now in my 60s and that shirt will go with me to the grave.....I even wore it in games playing footy at Kingsway school in Rochdale....Fantastic pod lads....As always..
I was at the West Brom game 5-3 defeat, it's a game that sticks in my mind from all those years ago. Does anyone remember standing in the tunnel in the stretford end? Getting so squashed at the front of the barriers everytime United either attacked or scored. They were fantastic times you really did feel part of the club unlike today! Loved this show well done lads
I remember being in the Stretford End for the Juventus game in the early 80’s. Ground was absolutely packed and every time we had a shot you ended up about 10 feet away from where you were originally standing.
My old geography teacher used to drink with Whiteside, Robson etc

I'm literally in tears listening to you guys talking about big cyril , Always thought big Ron made a mistake and bought Stapleton instead of Regis, Stapleton was great especially in the Air, But Regis Was explosive, power,Strength, and Speed. Coppell then strachan, Muhren ,Olsen all good passers and good crossing ability,

I was at that West Brom game as a kid. Some epic goals and a great match to watch despite losing 3-5. Remember Robbo playing for West Brom and Ron Atkinson being their manager.
91, i was 11 starting stretford high school.
My mum was a cleaner at the sports centre across the road so id go in with her and go swimming for an hour before basketball training at 8am.
Most mornings id be swimming lengths alongside the likes of Schmeichel Kanchelskis Robbo Pally Clayton Ince giggs and Sharpe.
Sharpe stood one of the lifeguards up once and she was devastated bless her. (She was fit too 👌)
Quite often id see fergie in his rolls on chester road and hed always wave back. Good old days
Speaking of the cat. I sat next to him at a barbers in Wilmslow. He’s smoking a cigar and chatting away. Top bloke.
Loved hearing your stories from the good old days. Proper fans. I was brought up on Railway Road in the late 50's. The fans would walk down our road on match days, most with bikes, no cars. My brother and myself would charge 6p to park your bike in our small front garden, when that was full, the back garden was used. And when THAT was full, we used our hallway. When tge natch ended, we used to hide, because we knew six fellas were coming for five bikes!!! Everyone dressed in black then, most smoked woodbines. United was their passion and made a hard working life bearable.
Used to have a drink with some of uniteds players mid 80s onwards and you could have a good chat with them but with social media now the modern players just cant. Remember roy hodgson chatting honestly on the tube and they recorded it?
💯 people are petrified of not capturing the moment on camera to share for clout. Oddly enough I've met Roy Hodgson twice at airports, great sport on both occasions.
Fucking love the cliff round the corner from from where i grow up we would literally kick a ball about outside then get to meet the players and get autographs

Heard a story that dixie dean after scoring 60 goals in a year for everton was told that he could take a taxi to goodison on matchday if the trams were busy. But was warned, dont take the mick!

My Rotterdam memories include the ferry over and the rocking stadium. The stands moved around more than the ferry. Hughsie was my favorite player and what a night he had. I appreciate your comments regarding the relationship between supporters and the club - couldn’t agree more.

Ste is a great guy, good real utd fan.. Some of the stuff in your head is amazing, way much better than some of our so called legends.. All round amazing football man, but only if you could possibly avoid using certain words like 'fucking 'u will be a different class absolutely. U have audiences all over the world right now and societies, customs, traditions, religions are just very different, but because football and Manchester united unite everyone around the world your platforms are relevant to us... Love hearing this stuff. My first game at OT, got to the concourse and looked up and saw Gary Pallister, he must have known I was gobsmacked, and just nodded. Can’t imagine seeing the players about regularly.
