- Today I did a full tour of inside Kensington Palace London, and it was amazing! This is a ticketed tour and takes you through the home of Queen Victoria and King George ii. You get to have a snoop around the rooms they once lived in and all the royal treats.
Then I took a look at the new Kensington Palace exhibition ' Royal Style In The Making', showing Princess Diana's iconic wedding dress and more.
Then lastly visited the sunken gardens to see the new Diana statue on display.

I'm surprised they haven't burnt Diana's dress to whitewash history, as want everybody to forget that Charles ,made everybody think if he married Camilla then he would pass the crown on to William. They want people to think Diana was crazy, but any young girl would be devastated who was pregnant by 20, and realised her husband only bought their home as near his married mistress who he was seeing straight after their wedding.

Oh wow. Princess Dianas dress is something else eh? I remember the whole build up to the wedding. I was 11. That dress is just so iconic. And of my gosh I want that wallpaper! x

I did not like the dress. The top was too ruffled,sleeves ugly and the bottom was so plain.
The dress just has such a magical touch to it.
We did not have a vcr then , I got up at I think 3 am to make orange cranberry crumpets and tea. I pretended to be very British that day.
Yes, Diana, Princess of Wales' wedding dress was very grand.
I was in London one week after Charles and Diana's wedding and went to St James Palace to see the Royal wedding dress and gifts...an amazing, once in a lifetime, experience. The lines were running sometimes 8 hours but we got on line at 6am to make the 9am opening. I don't remember if it was free or a couple of pounds but it couldn't have been much as we were on a budget. Thanks for bringing us along with you!

Hannah, I LOVED this! Even after all these years, I had never seen the lace and diamanté's(?) detailing on Diana's train. I can't believe it! It was so touching to see and remember how special that era was for those of us who remember. I wonder if the Cambridge family access these parts of the palace when everyone has left and make their own new memories and enjoy 'gossiping' about the family?! THANK YOU so much for sharing. Yes, I was an (American) teen when Diana married Charles. It was stunning and she was beautiful. Everyone loved Diana. She was a wonderful human being. Sorry she married in vain as she deserved better, to be loved in return.
Seeing Diana's wedding dress is on my bucket list.
So good to see her dress again. I saw a traveling tour maybe 14 yrs ago in Houston that had her dress and other really fabulous dresses from her post Charles period. Photos of her wearing the dress next to it was so surreal! Upon seeing her dress, the ruffles & flounce at the neckline was so huge...almost engulfing her. No photos or filming at that time. So glad I got to see it again. Thank you!!
I joined the queue to see the dress and wedding gifts just after the wedding. We didn't have to book, just queue. I was never a fan of Diana but her wedding shoes were fabulous, and I still remember the glorious sapphires.

For me seeing Princess Diana's dress is so special, i loved her she married the same year that i did and i got
up early to watch the wedding here in Canada, it was so special, i went on to have 2 boys around the same ages
as her sons. Her death hit all of us very hard, it was such a tragedy. Thank you for this beautiful vlog.
I've never seen close up video before of Kensington Palace. This close up of Diana's dress is wonderful!!! I can remember getting up very early in Wisconsin to sit in front of the tv to watch her wedding!!! The wallpaper with Diana paintings was really interesting!! The garden is beautiful! Hannah I am so happy you are back vlogging. All the recent vlogs have been wonderful but I will say this one especially touched me. I loved seeing Kensington Palace, the Wedding Dress and wow those gardens with the new statue. Just knowing Kensington Palace meant so much to Princess Dianna for a number or reasons it all seems so fitting. We went to a Diana clothes viewing there, it was displayed in what is now William's home, so a while back, lovely to see an update.

Thank you for taking us to Kensington Palace and the tour. I so miss it. I used to visit 5 times a year each trip from Canada. My friend was the Manager at the Former Orangerie Restaurant where the display was. I was so sad when they closed the restaurant and moved it to a Pavilion building. I spent many a visit on different displays at the Palace and love the Gift Shop and Cafe for a tea and scone each visit. I so enjoy just a visit even to just have tea and relax. So happy you took me there again, as still waiting for Canada to stop our quarantine of 14 days when we enter England. So nice to see everyone enjoying themselves. So nice to see people out and about enjoying the outdoors.

My daughter and I were there on the 30th August. We loved KP. Diana’s dress was of its era. Never one I liked but I can appreciate all the fine detail and the work that went into it.

Great vlog. There seems to be so much more at Kensington palace this time. I love the garden where Diana’s statue is too. I’m thinking of getting an annual pass for the royal palaces, so that includes Hampton court, Kensington palace, the Tower of London and the banquet hall at Whitehall . It’s good value for money and you can usually get into all the exhibitions and food festivals with your pass.🥰😊😊
I got the opportunity to see Princess Diana's wedding dress in an exhibition in Kansas City, Missouri USA. I am glad that it made it back to the UK.

That wallpaper is so beautiful that would have been great to see on some things in the gift shop! Too bad the Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding gown wasn’t in this exhibit it’s my all time favorite! The gardens are beautiful I need to visit when I eventually make the trip to the UK!

I am SOOOOO excited to come see Kensington Palace!! Hoping our plans for this coming spring will still be a GO! I really wish Diana's dress would still be on display. Kind of sad about that. I remember watching the wedding on TV, as a little girl, and thinking how that was the ULTIMATE wedding dress!! The fluff! The train!! So glamorous! Then my own wedding dress was super simple and not at all Diana-esque, but hers would have looked pretty ostentatious for a girl from Seattle in the year 2000. 😆 Still, it would be so fun to see. Thank you for this video. Have studied Queen Victorias life from the time I was 5. She did so much to change the world in so many beneficial ways. Her benevolence even reached as far as Hawai'i. At the time, the lack of transportation makes this an impressive fete.

I visited in the winter of 2013, there wasn't many people visiting, I had the rooms all to myself for most of the time, when I was in this room 4:43 I spoted a rack with vintage clothes on, the old lady who was watching the room say something, she was lovely, we chat a bit, well to make a long story short, she let me try the clothes, sit in those chairs and she took pictures of me!! hahahaah true story I have the pictures!

Thank you so much for this film Hannah. You've given me exactly the experience I missed out on in July. I bought a ticket to see the exhibition and the wedding dress,its odd really because I'm not really into that sort of thing. Anyway on the July day I got to London smoothly on the coach then it all went wrong. It was one of those four extremely hot days that were our "summer",all the tube was disrupted,I hadn't researched bus routes.No taxis in sight. I ended up walking from Earls Court to Ken Palace. It looked close on the map but maps are deceptive and distances in London are always more than they look. I got there late but could still have gone in but I was so hot and flustered so I sat in that courtyard and ate my packed lunch and an ice cream and then went up to that shady leafy tunnel and saw the then newly installed statue from afar. It doesn't matter that it looks nothing like her as you can't get close anyway. It turned out nice in the end and I slowly walked back to the tube only to find I had to go on another line then transfer over and go back,it was a nightmare. When I did get back to Victoria in time for my 7pm coach,well due to an accident sadly,the motorway was closed,my 7pm coach left just after 10pm and I arrived back just after midnight. But God had provided. By sheer chance,or was it another passenger lived near me and suggested we share a taxi home,so I got home safe and sound. I was a bit shaken as I thought I'd got the hang of London. I felt I was getting a punishment for hubris. However the next I went up with a friend for our long booked trip up The Shard and all the transport links meshed perfectly so I knew it wasn't me after all,just bad luck. But now I make sure I've checked out all alternative travel ways in advance. I've just subscribed.

Princess Diana was, and still is my favourite Royal. When she passed away myself and my husband went to Althorpe House to pay our respects to her. The wedding dress is georgeous still. Glad you went there and showed us all.

My sister and I went to an amazing Princess Diana exhibit many years ago in Cleveland, Ohio that included her wedding gown and dozens of her other iconic dresses! It was an absolutely wonderful experience and one I’m so glad I got to experience, especially with my dear sister!!

I tried to get tickets to the dress tour of 2018. It was either sold out or closed when I was there. I'm walked thru the park and gardens where Queen Elizabeth's statue is. I walked the playground and such for Diana. Lovely park. I want to go back someday.
