Shoes don’t improve THAT much year on year. Some don’t at all, so buying the newest is rarely a big advantage. I still love the Saucony Endorphin Speed, 2 and use a pair for tempo days even though the 4 is already out. I also use dried dates and maple syrup as less expensive carbs.
