Looking at this I'm thinking it would be more suited to football management games like FM.
Absolutely
Was thinking exactly that, then looked in comments to see who else thought the same haha
This i agree 👍
All these comments represent me😂😂
Fm probably gonna beat fifa and pes easily🤣
I don't like the graphics but the movement of the players looks real asf. I hope pes reaches this level
Well I mean Pes is the worst for robotic movements out of the two, so surely Fifa is more likely to achieve this sort of movement.
@@jackbrewster8942 nope bro
@@jackbrewster8942 Been playing fifa since fifa 08, how can you say pes is more robotic. I gotta admit pes 2020 looks amazing in player movement
@@jackbrewster8942 lmao fifa is more robotic
@@NailujG you're telling me the way players run on PES is more realistic than Fifa? Fifa have captured movement specifically from professional players. I haven't seen anything like that from PES.
I think I’m the only person who would genuinely enjoy my gameplay being this slow and methodical. I just want realism. A relaxing, realistic, football game
Different team, but same pattern, same gesture.. between 7:38-7:50 and 8:34-8:46
So it's all fake. Fuck this shit
Titoe Dhoni Valent I think they Used the same bot in two Games
it's not a serious project in terms of gameplay, they probably only have 3 to 4 variations for a single situation
It's obviously scripted, why everyone so excited about? There's is no way to do this in real time using controller or any other input.
ngl i wouldnt be bored by a game that isnt fast-paced, like that one
Not fast paced but realist* it look exactly like in the real life it's a game like that we need today with our technology bro! Fifa movements is very robotic and not realistic at all it has to be fluid tbh FC 25 has realistic details and pretty good graphics, but the game lacks fluidity. We need a game with FC graphics and Rush Football movements and Here We Go!
This is an already rendered automatic intended animations and not a controlled one it will be so difficult to create a game where you can balance between the responsiveness and the controlling of the players because many of these AI movements/animations has to be intended and implemented in the game according to the responsiveness of the players and according to the match situation ( A.I) that's why FIFA and PES failed miserably to simulate a realistic gameplay due to these issues each year we get tricked by Konami and EA by the arleady intended cutscenes and not an actual gameplay from the game itself once we see the trailer we will get blown away by how does it look like and how it is fluid but when we finally play the game we will get stunned by the awfulness of the gameplay and i am afraid that the new upcoming football game that goes by the name UFL ( i don't now what does it means precisely) will be either a copy of one of the two PES or FIfa and it will fail miserably to simulate a realistic gameplay considering the fact that the balance between the responsiveness and the controlling of the AI seems difficult If not impossible to be generated in the game because the in-game animations and movements cannot be generated according to each situation and it will be ending up filling the game with unlimited number of animations to simulate a realistic game which it'd lead in the end to overloading your PC and it might not run the game at all even though the game was in development in five years now it still would not change the fact that AI responsiveness and controll are almost impossible to be generated in a game according to each situation
Finally the Hyper motion thing is a joke don't get too hyped. ( Sorry for the long explanation i just have to share my opinion )
Good point, having seen UFL so far I have little expectations for it, but I wonder if we’ll ever reach a video game that’s just like real life, not sure even a engine as good as Unreal Engine 5 can do so.
Sir, with the level of technology we have today (AI, Machine Learning, etc) is it possible to have player models trained/pre-trained with video data from live matches (to learn animation possibilities) and have them know what animation to execute based on the game state?
@@loveadeolaexactly (: i think we have the technology to make a game like that bruh
@@loveadeolathey just won't
@@n0l3n_774 I'm currently planning on making a game where players look, move, and behave like this. If today, we have Large Language Models like Chat GPT, I believe we can build Large Animation Models that serve as a source for generating Physics Based Animations based on contextual inputs from the user, in response to what is happening with the ball and players around.
It may be expensive and time consuming, but I'm sure it can be done.
I wish we could see such a game someday with realism animation someday!
I agree that things like the celebrations and the crowd etc, can easily be used in fifa or pes. It would be great to see it used.
I love the physics of the ball itself! I thought it was a real, recorded match on the T.V. The dribbling and skill touches of the players looks hyper realistic!
I want the game to resemble football as much as it can. Not exactly for the animations to look good, but to give the game the same factors as real matches. This causes players to really learn football and make the game well-balanced like in real life. No OP things to abuse in game, just real life odds of scoring.
tons of movements mean a lot of movements when you want be fast, maybe this can partly avoid the hard input lag
Wtf!! 😳 How is this so realistic. I was searching for some alternative to 2 big games, and here it is, its too good for a second i thought its a video and legit it looks like its been mo capped very perfectly something we hopefully will see maybe in a decade from now implemented i think in pes
After seeing my player stand in front of the ball in an open goal situation and let the defender take it away in FM22. I would be so happy if this gameplay was in FM, it would suit the game so well.
6:24 meeeeen! That's a real life football dribbling, so smooth
Imagine..
Rush football player and ball animations/ physics
Fifa team licences and player designs (like the details on their faces)
Pes quality (game devs, game play and graphics)
It would be the perfect football game
Hey Man do a video on this again!! Do you think PES 2022 will be able to pull off something like this?? I mean from the teaser we got you can clearly see how realistic the cloth simulation and stuffs are and it isn't current get anymore.. yeah we could say if the engine change was on current gen like we're limited even if its a new engine but heyy its next generation we're talking about . What do you think??
wow, it looks so real. if PES or EA ever reaches this level of realism I would play the game to death. it would be so adictive
Very beautiful and very good animation
actually this is the best football simulation i ever seen. i mean the gameplay
Really nice
the ball physics is definitely possible to be in PES
Brooo just give time and you would easily cruise to 1million subs. Tbh.....
Love from India.....
It's looks like 90s matches in the last few minutes in the game and all the players are so tired. 👍🏻
If Pes or Fifa could copy the way the players realisticly move and run, the ball rolls and flows, that would be awesome
Well, you have a good point. Good job
This is how I thought fifa 22 would look like after they announced hypermotion lol
this looks like PES's old Intros quality back in the PS2/OG XBOX days...
I wish this sas in fifa career mode at least ultiimate team as it is a competitive mode could be how it is but idk if they would do that
I hope fifa n pes for the next gen console ps5 will be realistics n good gameplay same like this video
I doubt hard
Very realistic gameplay
There should be a football manager game with this 3D match engine.
Efootball/PES closest thing we got yet
kidding efootball close to this are u a joke? worst control animations on the world pes and efootball sewries worst! gameplay animations worst. wish tobe best but after they couldnt make they closed the pes and konami than evrything over efootball ıs a mobıle phone game so dont say close..
@@cenkgonen4485 how many hours have you played the game to give such a review?
I like it, and it is fun to Play so, it is no boring
would like to see at least an option in pes and fifa for slower simulation mode.
Someone needs to fund this to be in Football Manager
I should add, while many people might find it boring, there are people who would find this type of game highly enjoyable. There's people who play strategy games where a single game lasts hours and the pace is not quick. Playing this type of football would be much more tactical and require a lot more thought. Many modern sports gamers don't want to think. They want things to go fast and score a lot. But it's not football. It's hockey with a football skin.
What about a Manager Game like FM using a 3D Game Play like That
I feel this would be well suited to Football manager , their match engine needs some fine tuning and upgrade..
The player movements I just saw in this video are way more realistic than anything Fifa and PES have ever come up with.
However there are still flaws that needs to be worked on, the attackers looks overpowered and the defenders are just passersby waiting for their Goalie to save them.
But all in all, I think this is very promising
Yes this looks realistic ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It doesn't have to be instantaneous, you're just used to it.
to be honest though, when you plat pes 2020 at full manual it comes very very very close. but it becomes very very tough. getting fast transitions right is extremely difficult. but if you like a challenge i think we are 95% here. truth is when you are not playing full manual you havent seen all movements. the difference is tangible actually
😱😱. If you actually know how to play futbol, then there’s no way that you wouldn’t appreciate a game like this.
8:06 maaan Nice trow-in
Need a lot of adjustment of control. I mean we need to get used to how dynamic the animation
FIFA & PES never get this level of animations but for Manager Games its possible. It's a shame that these Level of animations are on sports betting platforms. i want this in a Football Manager.
FM please... if you have this type of match engine.. ill buy whatever it cost..
do you have to bet with real money sorry if this is a dumb question but i’m just wondering
Imagine FM with this engine..TAKE MY MONEY
Yes, me too.
This looks more realistic ua-cam.com/video/d4Dat9mIAtM/v-deo.html
AND MY DIGNITY
@@alessandrodelpierojuventus8156 looks like shit to me
@@alessandrodelpierojuventus8156 No it doesn't, have you ever seen a real football game in your life 😂😂
Yes it will for PES 2050. Fifa 50 will be the same as last year.
Aged well
Lol yes ua-cam.com/video/qDu0ctfDJZg/v-deo.html
@@SSoaib-in2ni pes 2021 is still better than fifa 22.
Pes 2021>fifa 2025 at least
I think this would work so much better as a visual sim for a football manager game
That is incredible, so realistic. Movements are so spot on. Makes me wonder if it will ever get this good. I might quit my job and never get off my console
Yeh...I'd be playing this all the time man, I'd never show up for work.
ua-cam.com/video/qDu0ctfDJZg/v-deo.html
In the next century we'll have a problem distinguishing between real life and games
I showed parts of this clip to my father without sound, he thought I'm just showing him random football clips - I had to tell him this is digital.
Haha sure
KaySwitch YT as long as micro transactions are in games then there won’t be any progress, as has been demonstrated with fifa over the last 10(!) years.
yup thats for sure........dude ;)
lol
Realism is mad in this but it seems like these are almost rehearsed scenarios. Like after playing for awhile would you see the exact same phases of play happening just with different teams?
Mr Mr that’s what you do when you okay fifa every year ?!
It is scripted
there's only one thing which makes it realistic
it's the players who are off the ball, they don't twist and turn like headless chickens
that's all you need
True. The rest is almost like PES 19 itself
@@mysteryman3054 as long as the movement is realistic, the graphics could even be minecraft-ish, i don't care
@@mysteryman3054 But saying that it would impossible to control players under them realistic movements as they are not made for input selections.
The cut scenes like entrances, line ups, pre kickoff discussions, yellow/red card scenes, injuries, GOALKEEPERS and substituions could all look like this. The Fans and the stands are also very important. They look good and their reactions to the game seem genuine.
I would sacrifice the responsiveness for the animations to look this real. I would have no problem with that
Consoles would be flying by the hour everywhere though 😂
@@pashkodreshaj2558 Okey? Use a PC then
@@marcusblom3442 Same problem
if anything , i’d love this on football manager .
Haha true dat. FM doesn't require real-time inputs so this is a possibility
7:01 Lol! That defender was really high on weed.
I think that was mustafi
This looks more similar to PES than FIFA
But EA has brainwashed fanboys with cinematic trailers that FIFA is not robotic lmao
Neeraj vibez amen
What does being robotic mean?
@@Blank9458 being robotic means being robotic
I think robotic in the sense that FIFA is highly limiting in what you can do with the ball and player movements. They always go on about 360 movement in FIFA but I always feel so limited in what I can do in possession. Don't get me started on how it feels as if I'm scoring the same goal all the time. My friends, who mostly prefer FIFA, always think I'm using the right analogue stick but not telling em how yet all I'm doing is using the left stick to feint movement in one direction or another. PES may look robotic but it's far from it...
@@justlloyd7881
By robotic, it actually refers to the animations. FIFA and PES are quite robotic in the animations, FIFA even more robotic than PES
Movement of players looks really nice, better than pes and fifa. This kind of organic movement coupled with the glitz of pes of fifa would be really nice
This clip is something some petty youtubers release each year as the next year's PES gameplay video(funny they never release it as a FIFA video).
The animations are extremely life-like but this is a pre-rendered footage not including any user inputs or real-time animations
You can do this with any current or even previous gen engine
@@RdamWest Not first this time huh? 😉
Buddy
I was about to say the same thing.
rush football 2 very very nice, i hope to play rush football 2
It's impossible to replicate in the game. What I would like to see is to improve A.I off the ball movement. They still move like robots despite them not being controlled by an input. Constant sliding animation, warping, and lots of odd movement still a big issue.
N I G H T T I D E YEPPppp !!! Still robots nightmare !!
Its seems nice but eventually u will skip it to start playing
Gagan Singh Skip what? You can notice the players you're not controlling have janky movement while playing the game
Yes its look realistic.. but very difficult to control player movement like that..
Sure..it will not called a game anymore 😂
Maybe the player movement in game should remain same but the highlight can apply this kind of movement
Just like Pes 2014. Looks very realistic but less responsive. Also kinda reminds me of fifa 08.
Being 39 and seeing how far football games have come on from Emlyn Hughs International Football on C64, to seeing the gradual evolution of PES through the different PlayStation consoles I still have no doubt we’re on our way to seeing a lifelike football simulation. I hope I’m still around to see it, but I’ve always thought it’d be like playing Match of the Day with all competitions, teams, licences the lot!
If we can keep improving on the model PES has with the enjoyability and unpredictable way match’s flow realistically each game goes I’m sure it will happen... some day
Nonsene that such physics can't work or won't be good.
Smooth movement would work perfectly and play well too, and movement can be responsive as well if they change the speed up a bit and yet make it smooth.
The only thing pes and fifa took from this is the predetermine goal
With all due respect, i 100% agree that it would be difficult to do this and make it responsive but i don't think that it's impossible as you implied. Time can make a huge difference and i think like 8 or 10 years from now we never know what is possible or not.
It's possible. True. User input would not necessarily sacrifice the smoothness
I remember pes 3 felt like this...it was a game changer...
PES 2014 was the closest to this and everyone panned it at the time.
You have seen that too. The best ever. The only problem was with the graphics. Player resemblance was too bad but for the game play, it was the best
I was so in love with PES 2014 while the market put it as garbage. Of course it wasn't a perfect game but PES was on the right path to build realistic looking game. If only we gave PES 2014 a chance perhaps today we play PES just like the video above
Pes 14 was the best on series
@@brar12zhinzai I hate for the fact they scrapped everything good about pes 2014 like realistic animation, players physicality and ball physics. Pes 2015 is not a good base for upcoming installments of the franchise. It felt so outdated.
FIFA players already complain about PES 19 being unresponsive. Extra touches to control the ball, realistic turns, etc. Sad to say people nowadays don't like that, all they care about is the 'skill gap'. Most people wouldn't like playing this. EA and KONAMI can do this, it's not about technology, they chose not to
This will be an amazing Football Manager. Probably the best in the history because it will be very nice to see a realistic match as a manager of the team. Please make this happen.
it's a CGI pre-rendered video made for betting machines
Personally think konami should get together with the makers of football manager as the idea of being able to play the game and have the managing aspect too would be awsome.
I still like pes to fifa movement and the weight feels better. Im happy with where pes is going.
Ok
Thank your for your thorough analysis
6:40.....that move is just 🔥
Football manager would be a beauty with this
Watching this after playing PES2019 against my brother :P. When PES and Fifa use new engines that's when we will hopefully see more positive changes.
This is possible in the current gen bro
@@joshuakimmich9536 I'm hoping to see more news about PES then we will know, surely the gameplay is awesome let's hope master league is going to be better than what we expect.
@@captainwasel8377 yeah
It also depends on the chain of movements you command your players to do. It's all about little frequences really. I love your channel btw
Watching the gameplay makes me get goosebumps. I agree with you on the fact that it will be difficult for pes and FIFA to replicate this but I don't believe it's impossible. It all has to do with a change of game engine. Maybe in ten years we might be playing something close. Thanks for the video.
Nope. The problem is that players in real life can't move and turn as fast as you can move the controller. Unresponsiveness arises. FIFA players complain about PES being unresponsive. EA and KONAMI are just giving what the people want
You are on point brother but personally I think pes at times gets too unresponsive and makes gameplay a bit frustrating.
@@aaabbb7347 Yup. And it will be worse if the Gameplay was like in this video
The movements from the players are fantastic definitely need these in and on the new gen consoles
I would gladly sacrifice a little bit of control for more realism. Those animations gave me chills.
FIFA players already complain about PES being unresponsive
5:28 I love the crowd reaction to the goal, that’s something that should be more focused on in football game
Fifa and pes needs this realism at least they won't die after 2 months as usual
I definitely agree with your point of view on responsiveness! I guess we will never have our cake and eat it?? I do think PES does a really great job with contextual animations at the moment, who knows what kind of new system PES 21 will have!! Great video again, and thank you for your pov on presentation as well. I do think it's time Konami upgrade the Presentation, especially with all the new Stadiums and Players scans.
Great video!
I also looked at the audiences , you see both sitting behind the goal but only the one scored - the people sitting behind you can look at they are only cheering not the others , which is more realistic
I think that if this was the 3D highlight animation in football manager it would be great
Looks awesome, commentary seems spot on and instant. This game needs to be a direct competitor to Fifa and Pes. It needs a bit more improvement to really compete with those games and shine just like Fifa and Pes and be as known as those two games.
I love this just the first touch, players reactions is all marvelous just wish the two giants modified abit
I think this would make a great manager game if LMA was still going for example this sort of in match gameplay would look pretty awesome again I think that could work as there's no input during games except making a sub but they could just make that so you can't select the quick sub until the ball is out of play the way pes / Fifa do and just get rid of the pause menu in game all together to keep the game flowing tactics etc could be down with a key input up down left etc
Even if it was just stick men with this movement i would play....quick someone get on it...money maker m8
Make this the first fm game for consoles and use this engine for gameplay that would be madness
The movements are insane! Wow
First time seeing this game ,looks different and in a good way .. looks very good in surprised
Great insight about the responsiveness. The best football game I have ever played is FIFA 11, which was so good because it was super fast-paced and responsive. A game like this would only work well if you want to play 90-minute matches, which would be super boring.
Boo arcade lover
Player movement looks amazing
This would be a dream come true
So real, but look like legend match
Perfect 👍
Wow... not gunna lie I Would By this ina heartbeat, if it was a playable game like PES n Fifa.., TBH I think they would B Running Scared... Gr8 upload brudda 🙏🏿
