Just about to order our new cylinder head! This would be my first time dealing with a Non-CAMSHAFT head. What is driving those valve lifters? Is there no need to worry about the timing at all? Where did you get your head gasket and what other gaskets/seals need to be replaced after taking the exhaust and carburetor off? @@siduolocin
Hi i have the same model 1997 toyota forklift 42 -6fgcu15 62381 you replaced the head on my question after i replace my cyl head i need to adjust the carburetor on the fuel mixture by the battery there has no place to use a screw driver to adjust my fuel mixture i must have a early or late fuel mixture just can't find any adjustments Thank you
The hydraulic pump is bolted on the right side of the motor and is leaking the hydraulic oil in to the motor oil. The seal is bad. The pump must be removed and new seals installed.
Thanks for this! Our 4Y in our forklift is burning coolant out the exhaust and overheating, headgasket is the only possibility.
How did you go?
