Honestly surprised they've sold enough of these to make a third generation.
3rd time is a charm ?
Me too
😂😂😂
They suck but look wierd enough for people to buy lol
It's the kind of gun you pull out at the range just for the "the hell is that thing" from people lol
You did it Sootch without pissing anyone off, you are a master at it . Good job , fair review.
Absolutely an "up front and close" tool for any unexpected occasions. If the slugs don't get you, the muzzle blast and flash alone will make someone fill their tighty whities.
That trigger pull reminds me of nightmares i have when i need my pistol and it won't shoot correctly or at all in my dream.
Lmao
The 1,000lb dream trigger pull
When attacked and you can't even punch... arms of lead.
Looks like some sort of cyberpunk sci-fi gun. Pretty cool
They missed a great naming opportunity by not calling this the "Double Trouble" lol
And Stevie isn't with us anymore, to potentially, hypothetically, endorse it.
🤔when a 22 magnum identifies has a 44 magnum
but really isn’t 🤣
But it is still interesting and useful close up ,should have called it snake eyes,
My two 45 1911a1s identify has a 90😆🤣
Always hear AC/DC , Song Thunderstruck 😆when I see this pistol 🔫
22 mag is awesome fun and more capable than most people think, 8 rounds in 4 trigger pulls is formidable
2 rounds of .22mag per trigger pull could do some serious damage. Wonder how some woke DA would go after a person for using it for self defense?
@@dennishein2812 shotguns send 9 .32 cal balls with buck shot in a tighter group than most realize. inside 25 yards theyll all hit close to eachother
Probably louder than .357 magnum in a short barrel. .22wmr makes some crazy noise from a 6" barrel. 2" has to be crazy.
They call it a hot .45
@@exothermal.sprocket I got a heritage rough rider 6.5 barrel with wmr cylinder it does definitely sound like a 357 my cousin even says it does
They need to remove that trigger guard put a full trigger guard on it and take away that double finger trigger
I purchased the Thunderstruck Gen 1gun several years back and I really like and enjoy this gun. I missed purchasing the Gen 2 Thunderstruck gun but I'm definitely in the market for purchasing the Gen 3 Thunderstruck gun. I just recently purchased two Switch guns and the Switch gun is definitely one of favorite conceal carry guns.
If the Thunderstruck Gen 3 isn't a classic example of "outside the box thinking", I don't know what is. When I first viewed it from the lateral aspect, I thought it might have been a glue gun.
Looking at this I’m reminded of the wisdom of Chaotician Ian Malcom, who cautioned that the engineers were so consumed by whether they could instead of whether they should!
I'm a revolver guy, so I'm used to a long trigger pull, but the travel on that trigger just seems absurd! 😳
Thus two fingers
I just got one of these for my birthday it's actually a pretty nice pistol I do wish it had a shorter barrel and a 10 round capacity and the trigger/ trigger guard makes it cumbersome for concealed carry but I like it and it's surprisingly accurate
Thank that barrel
I am a sucker for weird guns, so I will probably get this at some point.
I'm the same way. Have you checked out the chiappa rhino? i have the 2 inch version and love it, this peaks my interest lol
@@JA-qs7jm I remember the Yankee Marshall videos, he loves the Rhino. But it appears he no longer shoots, since he fell off his deck. But on weird revolvers, I have a Charter Arms Boomer, and a Taurus Judge.
That's a great gun one up and it works and functions perfectly!
Do the rounds still keyhole?
Got gen two. At 15 foot I can hit two liter pop bottles using one hand or holding strong hand arm wrist with weak hand. As long as you only put one hand on pistol when shooting it works fine. Use middle finger when pulling trigger not just index finger I’m ok.
Be nice if it came with a 10 or 12 cylinder ( 5 or 6 double shots ) and three inch barrel.
They designed it so it could be used for carry. What you suggest would make it significantly bigger and not easily carried.
“Designed for carry”? It doesn’t even have a full trigger guard, and good luck finding good holster options lol. For real though, who is carrying this?? 😂 This is a niche/novelty firearm. No reason it couldn’t be made larger and with more rounds for the fun of it.
Very cool
they need to make a bigger model with a full length barrel cover and a 10 or 12 shot cylinder
The price point seems a little high for what you get. That being said it is different and I think pretty cool.
That thing looks like a Ruger, LCR and a KelTec had a baby :-)
Double barrel revolver... What do you MEAN Kel Tec didn't make this?! Hahaha, what an interesting design.
The sight is interesting, I used to have a S9-A1 and the sight picture with these sights is good but I felt they made me focus too much on holding the triangle perfectly in the middle, I think I'd be uncomfortable with the wobble I'd get from the heavy trigger pull in combination with these sights.
Reminds me of a manual staple gun. Looks like a chore to shoot.
I have a feeling it’s atleast twice as reliable as my S&W 351PD. It’s been completely rebuilt twice since new with under 30 rounds though it, and required a new frame, cylinder and firing pin. Haven’t even tested it since getting it back the third time 😂
Wow,I'm surprised your S and W was so bad! I thought only my Taurus Spectrum was junk!!
Sheeeesh. That is tough. Hope its properly repaired now.
I was expecting some nice ac dc tunes "thunderstruck"
Sootch, the angle of the grip seems to be significant. Did that impact your ability to raise, sight and hit straight? We tend to like a more vertical handgrip for aiming ease.
I mean, someone has to do something weird and different to actually innovate, and so I appreciate they are doing that! The problem for me is this is a 'rental' gun, not an 'owner' gun.
Wonder what would happen if you load .22 mag shot shells and standard alternating...
Thank you for sharing.
Re: pulling the trigger with the middle finger and ring finger
Looking to the video, your hand seems to have better balance. Do you get better results?
They certainly succeeded at "different", but it's cool that it exists
The fact that it doesnt have a real trigger guard is a deal breaker for me. Also, why does it use a two finger trigger?
Apparently, it *REQUIRES* two fingers to pull that trigger!
@Karl Bjerke it shouldn't, I mean there are bigger bullets than two 22s that fire fine with one finger on the trigger
@@JWard-sp7wt For liability reasons. There is no safety on this revolver, so an extra strong double action resistance is advisable in this instance.
@@kbjerke then why not put a guard on it???
@@JWard-sp7wt Go ahead. I will not stop you.
Thank you
Thanks for watching Sameer!
Very nice!
This thing just come out or something, seeing many guntubers doing this right now. I wanted a WMR to practice with but then I seen they're same price as 9mm so had to go 22lr
Interference between grip and trigger is my chief concern. I'd like to try one.
Truly unique! 😎
There’s already a grip extender (better comfort/function). Yet pull the trigger and it hits your fingers! Baffles me a Co. hasn’t done this. Gun sells too, buyers would love that option!
I have one and it says volleyfire on the box
While I was watching you shoot that gun I couldn't help it to think. If they could aim those barrels everybody half a degree towards each other at the front. It would keep a much tighter pattern.
Seen one AT Rural King, rather interesting;
Thanks;
Hell it looks like a Space Gun.
That's a nice looking glue gun.
Interesting gun
I’m done with DOA handguns but this new trigger design is definitely smart.
By loading every other chamber, will it fire one round in the same barrel four times?
I really doubt the .22 mag is going 1800 fps out of a short barrel. Also the previous models had such little rifling the bullets would keyhole unknown if they were colliding midair but outside of a few feet it was so wildly inaccurate it want able to hit a silhouette at 5 yards
Still beats a sharp stick.
Agree, most ammo manufacturers use rifles to get those numbers for .22 lr and .22 mag
I have a question ! How do you feel about Constitutional Carry for South Carolina ?
Would love to have one
$429 at there site, appears to include shipping. PSA has it for $269.99 before shipping. Looks different enough to be interesting to me. Would definitely be a range thing. If I can get the money up for it I'm gonna get it for the uniqueness.
Make sure it's not the Gen 2 being sold at close out prices .
Cool
How do you de-cock it? Do you just open it and empty it and drop the hammer then?.
Also anyone interested in a shield plus performance center ported barrel has about 400 rounds on it so far.
Wow my friend
You have a two-barrel rifle
I gave it in the bond arm, Wery chunky.
Innovament....nice
They spent too much time wondering "can i?" And not enough time on "should I?" 😂
Greetings from the PPRC, great question why would you buy one.🇺🇸🇺🇸🍿
Not bad!!
22 mag is a rifle cartridge and muzzle energy 300 plus is from a 16 inch or longer barrel. 9mm is a pistol cartridge and is significantly more powerful than 2 22mags when both are fired from 3 inch barrels. See ballistics by the inch for a meaningful comparison.
Same for the fps. No way this gun is sending lead down range at 1800 fps.
Awesome! Looks like fun!
It's an experience! lol! Thanks Brother
If i wanted to buy a revolver for self-defense, my choice would be a Smith & Wesson 686.
Nice 👍🏻
Does it still keyhole?
Cheap enough for a novelty cyberpunk desk pistol. Definitely a nasty belly gun.
Come on bro 1,800 out of that short barrel lmao
Man 😂gotta have it😂
4 trigger pulls 🙂
The .22WMR Energy you mention is only correct when the Barrel is at least 10inch + long, out of such a small barrel booth of them will not have more energy than a good 9mm round
Why ?
Looks like something I would be interested in. How can I get pricing and manufacturing information
How much?
Surprised they didnt make recess in cylinder for safe dry fire. Perhaps 4th gen.
You been .... Thunderstruck AC⚡DC
Good New York subway gun.
I would add small laser pointer bellow.
Regular size trigger and shroud and a 6 or 7 pound trigger and I want it
I would like to see the grouping on a target
it would almost be cool to see it with a double trigger pull, middle finger only for one barrel then index is left with a hair trigger or just pull both and shoot both
to complicated
A little tougher to detect a squib / hangfire on this rig?
This was the comment I was looking for....I wonder if it would prevent the cylinder from rotating (though I can't think of how THAT would be possible) in such an event....
I have many guns and clips.
only my Mossberg bolt action shotgun and 357 bond arm. They are rough
like this😘
You've been thunderstruck
What's the price ?
Don’t know where to beg at so I’ll do it here. Please review the HCAR from Ohio Ordinance 🙏
Imagine if Granny Starts Carrying This in Her Purse/HouseCoat.🤔
3.5" barrel all titanium 5 shot×2
with extra interchangable barrels
and with speedloaders...!!!
Interesting 🤔
If the 22 cal doesn't incapacitate, the soundwave will.
Can you imagine the noise of 2" barrels when 2-rounds of 22wmr go off at the same time? Ear bleed.
Iam not on board with that jerking trigger!?
สวยมาก ครับน้า🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🎖
I might go for it. Just don't like the trigger guard.
For some reason I imagined this being way smaller. Like NAA size.
The flame thrown demonstrates the total loss of fps the magnum is capable of.
Honestly 22 mag is an excellent round but ive yet to experience any side by sides that offered more pro's than cons - other than break action coach guns.
Good for gut shots
Looks that kill lol - they could have just named it the Ugly Stick available near a NY Subway near you in case somebody wants to push you in the tracks
Id have been happy with a normal lightweight 8 shot wheel gun.
Looks like they still have the keyhole issue…
3 generations and it's still keyholing.... How can this company not be bankrupt yet?
NAA mini revolvers keyhole like crazy and they’re still around.
Because there is a sucker born every minute.
2 rounds of 22mag? Well that would make this baby a 44mag😁
The enema maker
2,4,6,8 Mericaaaaaaaaaaaaa
1880 FPS from a barrel less than three inches? Really... And though it appears your scale reads two pounds even, you said it weighs 18 oz. Interesting. You'll lose your credibility with this kind of stuff.
Novelty type pistol. Might be decent with rat shot for farm snakes and small critters. Too unwieldy for packet carry,
I always don’t judge a gun by caliber or the gun itself until I have held it and shot it unless it’s a Glock cause I just don’t like design
