Question i noticed the gas cap has like two settings will the gas cap automatically vent when turned in the fully closed position , or should i leave it in the half turn position to vent high pressure? My cap also has a small hole at the edge. I think its for a lock. Last question anyway to test for leaks. I have 100 gallon better built L shape for my truck . Thanks great video.
What did you ground the pump to? I bought a fill-rite pump and it comes with a green ground wire and my set up is the same as yours. I’m not mounting it to my truck
hey rocky second time Im looking for a solution and I run into your channel (last time was for RV AC solutions) Im actually now looking to add an auxiliary tank for my ram2500 diesel but this cool video is actually for a shop tank. have you ever put an auxiliary tank to any of your trucks? information is kind of all over the place. tanks go from $400 (lund brand for example) to $1500 without much difference for what I can see (some are plastic) some people using pump, other gravity, we can see the quality of the jobs you do, would love to hear your input on that. thanks rocky
@@RockyRohde yeah I saw those videos thanks. but im on the fence with the 50 gal tank replacement vs a 40/50 gal aux tank. it feels like a lot of money and hassle for just 15gal more compare to stock. there are some very slim (10/12 inch) aux tank that gives you your stuck 30-35 gal plus another 40/50 gal without having to sacrifice too much bed space. they are gravity feed, so no stop is needed (lund for example. this is around $400) the titan brand has a remote control to open a bigger valve. this is around $1,100
Very good set up. 👌 that transfer tank looks very clean...
looove your choice in music! makes the vid.
Thanks

Awesome setup man, thanks for posting. What fuel filter are you using?
Just picked it up at tsc also next to pumps
Nice videos. Keep going more video!
What was the total cost for this project?
About 1500 if I remember correctly

I have a few videos on my channel installing s&b 50 gallon. It has aux port and mounts under truck. I just like my bed space especially with rambox.
I built the standalone 100 gallon tank so I can load in the bed. If I have a long trip I can just load it up.
