I think it's important to emphasize that you have to pay the $50 membership fee to be "officially" certified. Someone who isn't a member already should be aware it isn't completely free if we are talking to absolute beginners in the field looking to get their feet wet in this industry. Great video as always, thanks for the great content!
This has helped me transitioned into the cybersecurity field, registered April 13th, sat for my exam 29th of May and I passed I love this field, I want to add the compTIAnetwork+ and security +, bought them on Udemy already, then we see where we go from there. 2023 my year of becoming a Tech girl
@@cyber.queen_ Thank you so much. You're one of my mentors right now, I admire you a lot. When I get to the juncture of confusion I will reach out for your guidance hope you will be willing to help, but for now let me go and make you proud by gaining more knowledge first.
Hey great video! I passed the ISC2 CC exam yesterday looking to get a job with it. Is it possible? Or do I specialize in a field first before job hunting? Also there's no link to the resume template
I signed up for it and I’m half way through self paced. I don’t have an IT background but I do a lot of computer knowledge. I’m currently working as a customer service representative for a health insurance company. Any tips or suggestions to get my first role besides this certification?
Hey, I have shared a few other tips in this video, and I have a beginner playlist here on the channel that you can check out. I would also say its important to decide which role you would like to pivot into, look at the job postings for that specific area in cybersecurity, this would give you insight into the skills and further educational requirements.
I decided to change my career and start cyber security. The plan was to complete security+ first but came across this video and thinking of just starting here. Should I continue with security+ and get the certification after ISC or move on to something else?
Hey, in my view the security + is at the same beginner level as this one, thus choosing only one of these options as a starting point may be a better bet, then moving to a more intermediate level certification and building skills, that is really important.
Hello hun, I signed up but it’s in another language. I clicked one in English but it cost more than 50 bucks. Am I doing something wrong? Please help 😅
Hey, you should not get any amount to pay for the certification and exam, maybe contact ISC if there is a support option on the website and exam booking sites.
Great video! I passed my ISC2 CC a few days ago and this along with your beginner's playlist is exactly what I need before I start the Sec+.
Glad it was helpful! and congratulations 🥳
