I am so glad to have found your channel. I am currently pivoting from being in customer service to the cybersecurity world and Ive looked into the GRC space until I found out that it involves a bunch of documenting and math. But now knowing that everything will be going to cloud I said hey why not just look into ways to learn about it and just check it out. But you’ve explained everything simply and I thank you.
Subscribed! Thank you for making this helpful video. This was incredibly clear and organized not to mention encouraging as well. I love how your insights included estimated timeframes and helpful resources. Looking forward to checking out your other content :)
I’m currently gaining hands on experience with project management and I am diving into IT. I am currently taking the beginners splunk course and Id like to still go for the compTIA a+ and security. I’m just hoping I enjoy it and not get overwhelmed
Thank you for posting, encouraging advice! Recently scheduled my Sec+ exam for next month and looking for opinions on what to focus on next, leaning towards Network+ since I’ve worked a lot with Cisco PT. Looking forward to watching more of your helpful content.
Hello ma'am would you advice one to go to varsity first, complete IT then specialize in cybersecurity or go straight into cybersecurity with the help of online studying?
Hey 👋🏽 it depends, I don’t think a degree is required, but it depends on the job requirements where you live, the role that you are targeting and a few other factors. In most cases certifications are more than enough and this is definitely my recommendation when trying to get into the industry 🌸
Thank you for the helpful information. I have the opportunity to get a free college certificate. Im stuck Network Infrastructure and Network security. Which one do you think would be most beneficial for becoming an analyst?
Hey 👋🏽 I would pursue the network security direction, also depending of the modules and content that it would cover. But this might help you get closer to the security side.
Hi, thanks for the video. i have comptia sec plus, and aws security specialty, what else do you think i need to become a cyber security analyst? thank you
Hi, I think you need to do one further certification specifically focusing on analysis which is intermediate level to set yourself apart. But ofcourse nothing is stopping you right now from applying for jobs.
hey please , i hope you doing well, i have question! iam really confused and almost gonna be depressed! cuz i have master degree in network and telecommunication + CIsco CCNP encore and stil can't find a job in my country i learned dev mobile and i become junior flutter dev with salary 150 euro per month! iam living in algeria, i quit the job and thinking about learning security what do you think ? i studied ccnp encore i know linux, python, c++, javascript after this , how much does it take to get the other certificate and become cybersec analyst!! , is 2 years enough ,? :(
Hey 👋🏽 I’m sorry that you are having this experience, I can say that the pursuit of a cyber security career will be difficult but is definitely a lucrative career path if you choose to pursue it. Choose something to focus on and stick to a learning path and build skills in parallel.
Hi I am MBA post graduated with marketing and finance specialization. I joined one of company as a sales executive after 4 years due to sales dep closed I moved to cyber security as a security Engineer, can I make my career ? Is there any online course tha can help to build my career in security? Pls reply
Hi, it all depends on the role that you are interested in, checkout the beginner playlist where I describe some of these roles, and detail the technical vs non technical components to help you along. This is possible, but you have to decide what you want to focus on.
If Cyber Queen is currently working for and at Microsoft, how does she have enough time for her family life (12-Kids), her career at Microsoft and doing these video's on UA-cam? Does not make sense to me? I guess she might not have a job at Microsoft?
😅 Sad part is we all have the same amount of hours in one day, and the same amount of days in one week, what are you doing with yours? If I can do all this, with my full time job and family, what do you do with your time… 😐 write questionable comments I guess.

In what currency you are telling the salary range
US dollar - based on salaries in the US
Hello, what do you mean when you say write the exam?
Hi 👋🏽 I mean you need to take the actual certification exam and not only complete the self study or training without getting certified.
Commenting at the absolute start of the video is it for someone with zero knowledge?
Yes, it is for beginners 😊
I don’t need a bachelors degree? Google says I do😅
Haha! When in reality you really don’t 🤷🏽♀️😊
@@cyber.queen_ that is awesome! God bless you Queen! :)
8 weeks for a ccna? Yeah, if you’re really smart. For the average person going from zero to ccna it will take a bit longer.
Sure, each should do it in their own time according to their own schedule and abilities.
