Hey everybody, this guy slobodni is free to say whatever he wants. But you're also free to press the dislike button and the report button on his comment to report it as hate speech or harassment.
Sʟᴏʙᴏᴅɴɪ ᴍᴀSᴏɴ Wow, I can tell you aren't part of the community because that is some of the most unessecary toxic stuff I've seen all day. I admire him because of the incredibly kind hearted and inspiring person he is, and because, yes, I do like his paintings. It is a matter of opinion. Have a nice day, anyway
because we don't like to think of God as the same guy we go to when shit gets rough as the guy who made it that way in the first place. That's called racketeering; you solve the problem you make for a price.
I'm an atheist but I still love that quote...after a life time with depression it's strange but I find the happiness things when I'm in the worst spots, the bad doesn't cancel out the good or vice versa, it just makes them contrast. Maybe Im wrong and there's a god out there or maybe theres not but either way I think bad times are required to see the light, otherwise life gets boring and murky. I may not believe in a higher power but I believe that what some call "god" is the energy that connects everything on earth by flowing through everything, its not one being, it's everything, and because of that I really appreciate that quote despite not being the same religiously as him
"Without dark, we can't see light.. we depend on it. I think that's why God created some dark times so we can appreciate the good ones that much more."
If u watch his last seasons he illudes to A LOT of innuendos about loyalty and deceit. That's why I think the judges were in the kawolski's pocket when it came to the judgement of his estate. N other Bob Ross's trademarking. Ijs

"Hey, welcome back. Let me show you what I've done so far.. I've taken the black gesso and painted something already; a bit different, a bit gothic. Something for the museum of modern art. And that's about it for today. A nice quick painting, so easy, so easy. So from all of us, goodnight and God bless."
Talk about distance, talk about detail, talk, about, color! The first half of this painting was wild with the red/blue split! It looks amazing and plausible bc you could have a warm sunset over cool waters! The trees and bushes all around pushed the mountain back VERRRRRYYY far and I think it helped that it made a frame like design around the edges with the greens. We have the main colors all in one here: Yellow blue red and green. This has GOT, to be one of, if not the best paintings I have seen in SEVERAL seasons, So much detail, color, depth, personality, and originality. We had black gesso and water and reflections, we had almost everything that Bob is known for. I truly hope you all agree with me on this one :) Thank you all for reading my *_Happy Little Review~_*
For my birthday today, I tried my hand at a happy little painting for the first time... I may have been the person that changed Bob's mind about mistakes. LOL It'll get better with practice.
Bob Ross the king of wet on wet oil painting! The best of the best.Thank you for all you gave to the world, during your short stay with us. RIP dear soul.
Bob always just gets some random colour, slaps it on with a knife and starts doing some shit and I'm like wtf then 2 seconds later it's fucking realism. He's a god.
Bob's love for his painting is equal to the love he has for animals and there is a passion in him for everything he did, including making these instructional videos. He loved to share his painting techniques. He didn't invent wet on wet. Nether did William Alexander. Wet on wet was around long before either of these two men.Bill began using and teaching it and passed the "mighty brush" on to Bob when he finished his own TV painting shows. Bob took the brush from Bill and did wonderful things with it, up until he left this world in 1995. During those years, our Bob Ross helped develop a superb line of oil paints, paint brushes and gessos. Thank you Bob for all you did for those who love to paint. You are the best! Happy heavenly days always!🙏❤❤❤🎨🖌❤❤❤
There is nothing like ending your day with a little bit of Bob Ross. No matter my moods, he always says something that makes me smile and lifts my heart. Thank God Bob Ross graced out lives.
You became My Teacher 😁. And that is why I like the art of Painting. I love that art. Since I was little I watched your Videos. Thank you. God bless you always.
Wish there were more shows like this: Educational, inspiring and uplifting. I love art and I love to draw (I suck at painting) but I got into watching the late and masterfully gifted Bob Ross share his talent with us :). Maybe one day if I get around to it I'll actually try painting one of his works of art...but I know I will have Happy Little Accidents....a LOT of them lol
smulany I've heard that usually, there was a similar-looking painting that he based the one on the show on. Something like this would be nigh impossible to come up with and paint in less than half an hour.
Mr. Ross if you can hear me thank you for all the wonderful work and teaching mere that the dark tones are here so we're can appreciate all that's good
I like when he mentioned his son and said so proudly "and now Steve probably paints the mountains in the country with this technique" :) lovely video and his humour :)
Lol right. I learned to just let it go and not fret because at times im like "o. That just messed it up. Or it doesnt look right"... But i learned bob makes it right and better. So i just kmow it will always be alright.
Following these tutorials is tricking me into creating original art--I did my trees a bunch different because I'm on an Ipad and I think he would appreciate that
Dammit. i'm supposed to writing a 2 thousand word essay on post anesthetic care of a bariatric patient. Now I feel sleepy and not at all bothered to the essay..
Man I wonder if Bob or his son worked on some art for MTG, I am a huge fan of Bob's style and art in general so being able to watch the process and marvel at his work is something I consider a privilege, and similarly while playing MTG you see all kinds of wonderful artist's work on various cards, some of which are personal favorites to have and use in game because of the art, man if I had the money I would love to commission some art like this for card alterations. It really is a shame the man himself wouldn't be the one to do it though.
SaltyPepper 27 it wasn't only a random art teacher he stole the idea of ans asmr type painting show from, it was his former mentor who was just beginning to form his own show just like this one before Bob Ross quickly took the idea, moved away from his mentor and started the show himself. I love the sound of the knife scratching the canvas!!!!
I like the knife mixing paint on the palette :)
are you a artist
Nickhead87 I agree! If paints weren't so expensive, they'd be fun to try making all sorts of crazy colors with.
YOU Hate it. YOU just afraid to admit it.
I always find myself going back a few seconds on the video, just to hear that sound again and again.
the devil doesn't stand a chance against Bobs brush beating skills
"We don't know where it goes... don't know if we even care..shoot."
Bob Ross wisdom there.
The people in this comment section are so nice. Love you, you happy little things
It's a nice community 😊😀
The toxicity and trolling on the internet does not seem to extend to this little happy corner of it.

"Hate speech"?" harassment"? What are you, a feminazi? Let the guy have his free speech. He can gtfo but reporting comments is weak dude
Bob Ross. Most relaxing painter to listen to.
"I think that's why God puts us through the bad times sometimes so we can really appreciate the good times." Why is that quote not more popular?
+Nickhead87 Please just... just stop. You just ruined my trek through the comments... ugh
Leave him be, good sir. You might thank +Nickhead87 for it one day.
heard it so much actually. its already popular.

Bob makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. A good contrast to crippling depression
RazGerb The funny thing is, that's not how depression works. But you are just saying this because it's a relevant meme. Good on ya.

He makes me cry sometimes still to
This day. I watched him as a child. Always dreamed of having a dad like him. Such kindness and talent!
This is radically different from what Bob usually paints. It's a bizarre change from what he usually does, and I like it.
I’m Always As Happy As Bob When I Watch His Videos

God given talent for sure

Actually saw this episode on TV back in the day. Ah good times! We miss you Mr. Ross. The world is a lesser place without you.
the scraping of the knife gives me goosebumps:)
Bob Ross was ahead of his time. He would love what he has created for humanity if he was here to see it still.
I've been waiting to see this for months, and now that day has finally arrived. Blessed be the Gods of UA-cam.
Normally I save Bob for bed, but that acid trip thumbnail has gotten me curious !
When i was a kid, I took him for granted. As an adult, I appreciate him so much❤️

2:28 anyone else think that the phthalo green on the right looks satisfying to look at?
Following these tutorials is tricking me into creating original art--I did my trees a bunch different because I'm on an Ipad and I think he would appreciate that
Definitely one of his best paintings.
Dammit. i'm supposed to writing a 2 thousand word essay on post anesthetic care of a bariatric patient. Now I feel sleepy and not at all bothered to the essay..
The end result is amazing!

What a great human he was... One in a billion.
10:13 is the first time I’ve ever seen Bob move an entire hunk of paint somewhere different. Interesting.
i love how he says "fantasy painting" and then just does his usual thing
Who dareth dislike this video 🤔🤔
A poor someone, who's painting was not that happy
People without a brain, or people who had a happy little accident that left them drain bamaged..
Josh Gullickson lol xD
SaltyPepper 27 the people who know that Bob Ross stole this entire show/idea of painting series from another art teacher
SaltyPepper 27 it wasn't only a random art teacher he stole the idea of ans asmr type painting show from, it was his former mentor who was just beginning to form his own show just like this one before Bob Ross quickly took the idea, moved away from his mentor and started the show himself. Look it up, it's all true
He's so happy about showing us that kitty panther, it makes me wonder if painting really is the secret of having such a pure heart.
arg! it looks so easy to do, but I'd have it messed beyond all repair in 2 minutes flat.
I still want to try though. obviously he's using oil paint, but I'm wondering if acrylic would work too. or would acrylic not blend as well?
With acrylic paint the main problem would be the blending, because acrylic dries so fast and that makes blending with acrylics difficult. Also, some of the less expensive acrylic paints are kind of thin and watery compared to the thick and dry oil paints Bob Ross used. Using them would make some things difficult, especially making the snow break on the mountains or making the thick bark of a tree. But high quality acrylic paints called heavy body acrylic should be thick enough to do those parts. But again, those three areas of the painting that need to be blended well would be difficult to do with a fast drying acrylic paint. Not impossible, but definitely more difficult.
yeah, that's what I figured. from my limited experience, I like acrylics better than oil because they are easier to clean, both the brushes and if anything I get on the floor or walls. Plus, it dries faster. I know the fast drying can be a disadvantage for blending, but helps when you actually need a background or something to dry. I'm impatient. lol. that and I just have a ton of acrylic paint, but very little oil. But maybe I just need to get over it and use the oils instead, put tarp on the floors and wall and learn a little patience..idk. But thanks for the info. I can't wait to really get started. Ive painted on and off for some time now. But, never could really get in the zone because my environment was so cramped. Now I just moved to a new place and have a large, well-lit craft room.

The Bob Ross company sells really great traditional oil paints, but there is also something called water mixable oil paints that you might find interesting. You just need water to thin and wash them from brushes and surfaces, you don't need paint thinner.
so soothing... sleep time good night all
The hardest part of these videos to watch is the "big decisions" cause you think: "NO DON'T RUIN THAT BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAIN" but then it turns out better.
Bob Ross : The one person in this world (not now {cry}) that knew the beauty in this world
Yeah I'll take the painting as is in the beginning, it's like a depiction of my soul and my brain on depression.
Hey! There's an NHL Hockey Team called the Florida Panthers!
"Happy accidents" & "beat the devil out of it". Hahahaha love it
bob ross rocks
Never ceases to amaze me how he can start off with something where I say" there's no way he can fix that" yet then he does.
I was exposed to Bob Ross while watching some crazy Swede attempt to copy the paintings using Mario Paint.
Now I'm watching Bob Ross because I want to.
