Hi everyone! It's been so great to see how touched you all have been by Jude, and I'm very excited to share an update with you. A viewer saw our story, and reached out, wanting to help. Now, a few months after our story aired, Jude has a grand piano, a new teacher, and a friend for life: ua-cam.com/video/hq9bdfgXUvU/v-deo.html
I recall from an article, Magnusson (the man who gave Jude the piano) said “it’s like looking into the face of god” when describing what it was like to see him play. Not gonna lie, when I read the article; what Mr. Magnusson said absolutely had me in tears, coupled with how proud you as a father are. Your little man is an absolute treasure, inside and out. He’s a gift. 💗
Love the laugh from Jude when the interviewer asks if it just comes out and he confirms that. And what a great individual for stepping up to get him his own piano. This is what the world needs, much more of these types of people and stories.
I have the feeling that if (some) autistic people were given a break from the hard society and the overstimulation and the demands and the bill-envelopes/emails/neighbournoise/noise-from-cars/airplanes/loud refrigerators/etc. and were just given room to do this, many would be motivated (and quickly master) new skills like this in no time.
There is a fine line between having autism and being gifted. As a former teacher, I have seen this myself. Kudos to the gentleman who bought him a piano.
@@Sweetlyfe wtf are you talking about why is there a line between being autistic and gifted? You can be both. I have two autistic sons and found this comment very odd.
@@anthonydimizio6717 I’m Autistic myself, I think you misinterpreted my comment, which is very easy in the written word. I just meant that people use gifted un different ways and you can be gifted but not a genius, I think this kid is way above or at the top of gifted. No offence intended, I have spent 36 yrs of my 57yrs working with people living with disability, as I have a cousin with an significant Intellectual disability. I didn’t mean he or other’s with Autism were intellectually inferior, far from it. All the best to you and your Son’s.

The decent thing to do is to not be an internet jerk when ppl discus their beliefs ESPECIALLY on a video about a child with autism. The crazy part about it is that you think you are super clever with your comment...
This is crazy. Everyone who plays an instrument knows how difficult it is, and especially how long it takes to develope the ability to understand music, and freely express yourself on an instrument. To imagine that a young child is already at this level, not having had a lot of practice, makes me wonder what kind of virtuoso abilities he can achieve if he continues to work and develop his understanding of music. If he also has a knack for music theory, he is going to be a Mozart-like musician. What a blessing.
I know right ;3 that’s the same way I have with high functioning autism. Learning how to draw, enjoy things in life better, make music, social skills, and many things I had difficulty with in only three years. I’m a lot like this little boy.
@@Sticknub if someone without the natural talent of Jude worked hard to be that good, that would be an inspiration. Don't get be wrong, I'm not hating on him. It's just that "inspiration" isn't a appropriate word to use here.
The human brain is literally THE MOST incredible and mysterious thing in the universe! Most of us take years of study and practice to learn how to decode which key plays which note and how hard and quick one must press the right key at the right time/tempo to make music. This young man already has the decoder built in. It's really mind boggling how some people are just born to be special.
The guy is just plain sick! He can play better than those who took lessons. I love seeing stories like this. Thank you so much for sharing! So, so, so much appreciated!
That Brilliant Piano Man who knows Pianos Inside & out with genius level intelligence himself (to know exactly how every key should sound & work) when he said "its like looking into the face of god" was realist/heaviest thing I seen in 2022
What a CHARMING little dude!!!!!! His smile/ laugh when he finishes playing...... Bless him and dad... Thats a beautiful connevction..... How heartwarming that the little son went thru all he did as a baby- and was able to then go on to give his father that amazing gift- I cant imagine how GREAT that must feel doe dad...for them to get to share MUSIC together... Coming here from a foreign place- having all those scary health issues with his infant boy- but then....having it all turn out so SWEETLY.... Hope these two continue to be a blessing to each other....
Great musician this kid is!! Look up a guy named Leslie Lemke. Similar story. His mother thought she had left her radio on and went to turn it off. Instead she found her, deaf, blind, son playing beautiful music on piano. ❤️
I have autism and I’m a music Ed major in college at the moment, sophomore. And this is exactly how it starts. I started playing on a little keyboard when I was 4, playing things I heard. Found out down the road that I have perfect pitch. But after 16 years now of playing piano by ear, my fingers have practiced to the point where if I want to learn a new song, it doesn’t take long to figure out patterns and different feelings with chords and how they’re supposed to affect you. I truly wish this kid the best, this gift can take him far.
How does this video not have 1+ million views? Jude's laugh, spirit and talent is truly infectious. I love to watch him play and am so happy he found something that lights him up the way it does. Great job, parents!
Yeah what a cool soulful young man . Reminds me of a Young Billy Preston. Even though at first it was a tough emotion time, it seems that the emotion was returned and expressed by his soulful playing. But a really special moment was the moment his father could jam along with him . When the joy of smile on father's face matches the smile of his heart is exquisite
this boy is awesome I’ve had a baby grand piano in my home for years and I can’t play nothing lol! piano is my favorite instrument to listen to or play! people with autism are some fantastic exquisitely smart people!!
Jude is such a sweetheart and obviously loves the keyboard and music. He had a difficult start to life but he's found his purpose. His father is lovely and so encouraging.
The boy is 10, and is on the spectrum. He's just not developed sufficient language skills to communicate what he's doing. Because the stuff that he does would take a jazz musician a minute to explain. Can he just have his cake and eat it without it being divinely guided?
@@MM-vs2et Understood. I didn't actually mean literally, but the boy's laughter while responding to the question just seems extraordinary to me, somewhat mischievous, as if there's some secret to his playing ability.

What floored me was when they played Purple Rain and the guitar player fronted the band on that. I was like OK, Imma huge Prince fan too so I was like yall better do this right! The Guitar player did a 20 minute solo while walking the room and they had to reel him back in because he was just soloing none stop!! Now I've played the solo myself on Purple Rain and went deep for about 10 minutes but I couldn't wrap my mind around this and he didn't flub a note. What also floored was when I found out he was Autistic! He killed that song!!
He’s so talented and I absolutely adore his smile and laugh. One day I’ll say, oh I saw him on UA-cam years ago and now he’s playing Carnegie Hall, and the Hollywood bowl. You go get’m tiger, knock their socks off!👏
