On the PVC use a upcut bit to get the chips up and out. Also, no fuzzies!

nice job, question, does easel do 3d carving?
The design must be done in another program. You can then save the gcode and use easel as the sender and carve the design. You can not design or modify a 3d design in easel.

Does inventables have a splicing tool that you know of?
By slicing are you referring to a group and ungroup feature? If so they have a combine feature and in the app section they have an exploder app to ungroup
Is the fill option only in the upgraded software?
No, you can chose how you want to carve. The drop down menu has the option to be on path, inside path, and outside path as well as the pocket.
Very Well Done; Question: When you change bits do you click on "Set XY Zero" or "Use Last XY0"??
Dan Eilers I prefer to use “set xy zero”. I know some people completely believe in using Use last xy0. I don’t because I have had the machine lose its position for no apparent reason

where do you get your PVC boards
Depending on what part of the country you live in the PVC board will be available at Home Depot and Lowes. In my area, it is not available there and I found a local sign company that sells it to me.
What is the brand of the PVC board you are using?
What paint do you use to paint the pvc?
I use the spray can Rustoleum 2x. This was black gloss.

How do I remove the pieces out of the Rye font letters, I did them individually but it wouldn't let me click on the pieces, it selects the whole letter, PLEASE HELP?
Use the exploder app in Easel. It will break the letters into individual pieces and you will be able to delete the inter pieces. There are two exploder apps. If I remember correctly, I used the hand gernade icon exploder app.
@@PawPawsWorkShop It appease the Shape Exploder (Grenade) no longer works, I keep getting an error when selecting the text then opening the app.

lol, that true in that the machine will only do what I tell it to do. I also do have carved signs as well. Just did the hand carved ones before I had the CNC.
