  • This is a very simple design that can be built in an evening using very simple tools.

Good looking little desk. Paw Paw if you pick. Up a inexpensive Engineers kit on Ebay or ? You will have a compass/ Scribes. With 2 pointy ends that you can adjust to any radius you need the advantage of the 2 points is of course one keeps it firmly in place to pivot on and the other can. Scribe the radius right into your wood on plywood that a helpful score line to trace a little deeper int the wood with a razor knife or any blade of choice that procedure will often eliminate any veneer blowout or splintering when you are cutting it on a bandsaw or with a jigsaw i made my living installing Custom Millwork on jobsites and very often we had to do things as fast as possible to adhere to ridiculous schedules imposed by our clients customers needs who usually were not construction people BTW the logo really pops on the desk in the video due to the contrasting colors and the engraving you did i imagine the school will be very pleased at the outcome and your quality of Craftsmanship

LOL! Thank you very much. I'm trying to keep it simple for everyone. I actually have several sets of the drafting equipment. One of my degrees is in Drafting Technology. Of course, all of my experience was actually drawing with paper and pencil. No CAD in college! WHY? It had not been invented.

Really nice desk. I never thought about tapping after drilling. I'm going to start doing that from now on.

Yes, I have more work to do on the bandsaw. The top wheel is balanced but I need to balance the bottom wheel, but new tires on it and possibly a new belt on the motor. All in time. I restored a craftsman bandsaw and gave it to my son. It was perfect. I loved that old bandsaw.

In my first work I always used Woodglut plans.
