You must be new? Not to reinforce stereotypes but every single country's episodes of these shows ALWAYS show Asians trying to smuggle food, jewellery and cash. When caught, they always do the "no speak English" BS & always claim that they have no money to pay the fines they receive as well lol!

?? Gotta ask, why was the airport shuttlebus company not reported and then fined for hiring illegal immigrants, and are we really supposed to believe that he doesn't speak any English after being in Australia for years, (while getting paid under the table in cash and not paying any taxes too.) There is no way he would have been hired to drive a shuttle bus and pick up airport customers, if he was not able to answer their questions or tell them where he was going to take them, in English! (Of course it would be different if he was a shuttlebus mechanic or cleaning the shuttlebus and had no need to speak English. Something tells me this guy is very shrewd and playing games with the customs officers.)

As usual, the fines are a joke. First time? OK, you can go. Don't let it happen again.

I think he will be better off with his wife and kids as Ukraine needs manpower with skills (Doctor). I don't know what he is doing leaving his wife and children there anyway.

I feel so sorry for people in Ukraine. I know this episode was filmed in 2005 but anyway I’m Ukrainian myself was forced to leave the country cause my apartment is in center of Kiev which is often a target for missiles. Even before the war people suffered a lot. Small percentage of population former Soviet Union party workers occupied all country and stole all money. And they are stealing even know in 2024. I don’t have any desire to give my life for this country, all that country was doing is ripping me off every year I lived there. I managed to buy an apartment due to my working contract with HP which is American company. But know Ukrainian government wants to take away the apartment because I don’t want to die in the war.

Typical Commonwealth country… Similar to Canada… Ukranian national has been living for 5 years without a visa, his visa request was refused 3 times but still not deported. He is a doctor and working as a driver… What an irony…

If he's really a doctor, he could have applied for skilled immigration visa - like so many hundreds of thousands other professionals who enter Australia legally with full working rights and don't have to scurry around.

Its just sad that he was from Ukraine, a country that was devastated by war and immigration had to send him back but rather forgive him and create an alternative solution and help bring his wife and kid over😢

They sent Ollie back just in time to be in the middle of the Ukraine war...do these 'immigration' people ever think of those things? Or do they just act as if their decisions are all good. I bope Ollie and his family are still safe.

I don't know when the video about this man named Ole was filmed. If it was filmed in the last 2 years, then the customs officer and narrator are probably mentally ill. There was no way he had a future in Ukraine, what greeted him was a mandatory military service, and he would die after 3 months. Of course, if he violates immigration laws, he will be deported, but don't say hypocritical things, it only shows misery or mental illness.
