Just to let you know, on tuned EA888 engines which yours is its advised to run 5W-40 rather than 30 as it deals with the higher oil temps better and protects the engine from wear when the temps get a tad high
By the way when your doing wipers on a VW. If you turn the ignition on then off then press the wiper stalk down it puts the wipers into service mode makes them easier to change. Coil packs are not a service item on these, only the plugs at 40K or 4 years
great video, next time your servicing try using liqui moly oil and ceratec. It will make a huge difference especially while you have your car remapped. keep the engine in tip top condition

Reason being I had a mini cooper s that was running similar power to your car and it actually blew out a spark plug from the cylinder head taking the threads with it. All becuase the previous owner did not tighten them to specific torque. I guess it came loose the. Rattled its way out completely wrecking the thread. Had to change the cylinder head completely so yeah just a heads up.

Hey bro! Servicing cars are super easy If you got all the tools, I was just the same as you like a year and a bit ago, I didn't even know how to change the battery 🤣😭😭😭 Definitely look into doing it yourself, an oil change is honestly just 2 bolts and thats it! 🤪❤️❤️❤️

If there is oil on your spark plugs somebody has either split oil on top of the engine or the cam cover gasket is leaking. The cams are held down by the cam over on this engine - so it is not a small job to replace the gasket.
Think it’ll be the rocker cover gasket mate just had the same problem on my 1 series😁 also founded out it needed a new timing chin so got lucky as it was under warranty 😬😂 nice video mate 👍

Rocker cover gasket, it can get hard when getting hot and cold and so there can be oil that can seep through u probs need to get that replaced on the long term
Had the APr Coil Packs on my EA211 since May, honestly such a good upgrade, just a shame I can’t find Iridium plugs that fit just yet… hopefully aftermarket will pick-up soon.

Oil on the plugs is probably internal valve cover gasket. Not a massive issue, not a panic. Easy repair. Doing well on this car pal keep it up 👍🏼

Would also recommend doing a fuel filter change... Straightforward and these vw respond well to clean fuel systems
changed fuel filter on my mk5 gti after 117k miles and it defo made a huge difference

I have a 2011 Audi tts, and fitted red r8 coilpack(£105) and I also noticed the car was more responsive and smoother

Did you torque the spark plugs to factory spec? If they're too loose it will cause problems
Don't need to torque them just make them snug

Drain your oil when it's hot mate, drains quicker and you get more old oil out..

Get loads of vw plugs with oil on, long as it’s not loads it’s no problem
Didn't look like oil, just charred from the ignition of the fuel. If it's oil though probably just need new rocker panel gaskets
