Thanks for having me on Brian! Always a pleasure to see you!
After watching Placido many times on JD's instructionals, I assumed the only word he knows how to say is "TAP". Hearing him speak was like hearing Kenny from South Park speak for the first time. Great work Placido and thanks for the stress and strain you put your body under in the name of delivering us all fantastic learning material!
Danaher had my man Placido STRESSED in the leg locks enter the system instructional. Shout out to Placido!
heheh if it don't break you it makes you stronger
Hadn't seen Placido in a video since one of Danaher's instructionals a few years ago. Placido has bulked up.
How will Placido be his own Uke in his instructional?
great question
Thank you for posting this gold
our pleasure
Placido is a good instructor! I have family in Boston and would love to take a class with him sometime.
High level details right here.
In a real-fight situation, Brian's left foot would be applying pressure on Placido's hip, in the right side. It would then be very hard to extend the leg.
the most infamous uke in the game
notorious
6:41 are you concerned about the aoki lock there?
aoki lock is not the only thing one needs to watch out for in this situation, many dangers here.
Placido is such a great instructor! Nice to hear him.
thanks so much for the kind words!
Really good detail. Thanks
welcome!
Placido on that new wave sauce….
Hopefully everything ok with his breathing that he’s using that breathe right strips?
Glick always putting out great details.
Placido looking like a worn down, old warrior
HAHAH i'll take it as a compliment
Yeah actually he has a UA-cam channel. It's called the Placid fighter or something like that
yessir thanks for the plug
Sweet❤
enjoy!
Why you call it cross ashi? Danaher calls this inside sankaku.
inside sankaku is specifically when the legs are triangled; cross ashi is the broader category for this position
