So the moral of the video was that we can't have friends from the gender we atracted to? So Dhar mann thinks that straight man can't be friends with straight, and straight woman can't be friends with straight man, because one of them going to have feelings for the other? So in his logic bisexuals, and pansexual should't have friends? Even if he has good intentions, he still does a really bad job. I wish it wasn’t the case, but I find it hard to imagine anyone going without it. Hopefully I’m wrong and there are kids out there who are fully supported and accepted by their classmates. It’s the bare minimum but it feels like a utopia to imagine a world like that. So.. I’ve done martial arts since I was 2 years old. My dad is a martial arts teacher. I’ve had a surrogate family my whole life of martial art instructors and professionals. And never ever in my experience as a martial arts student and teacher, have I ever seen a teacher force a student out of a mobility device. We’ve had dozens of students with wheel chairs, walkers, prosthetic limbs, braces, casts, and so on and so on. And we always just found a way to make it work for them with their devices. So you can’t stand to do your kata, that’s fine, sit in your chair and do the moves from the torso up. Do “ground kicks” instead of standing kicks from the chair, it’s not a big deal. One of my closest friends from our younger years was a kid who started up when he was like 5, and he had one arm. He did the moves just fine, made modifications where needed, and became a really really impressive martial artist. Martial arts, and sports/self defense in general, is made for everyone - not only for able bodied people. Like it genuinely really pisses me off that this “teacher” would pull a kid’s walker away like that. Fuck him. Sure, we encourage students to push their boundaries and if someday they were able to do it without the walker then that’s great and all; but that’s a choice they make on their own time.

Disabled kids certainly get bullied, it's just not in places where an able-bodied person would see. Also, I don't think people would usually actually beat up disabled kids. It's going to be more subtle than that. The wild oversimplification of the realities of bullying really hurts kids who are actually suffering from that. I was bullied really badly as a kid, and the trauma has stuck with me. Spending years constantly looking over your shoulder, knowing that you can never have social media because it would destroy you, waiting for the next mockery to come... It really fucks up a kid. This kind of message of "punching people is bad" doesn't help anyone, and only serves to make bullied kids feel like what they're going through isn't that important.

Dogs have no way of knowing if there’s “skit” going on in my opinion and him yelling at that dog made me a bit sad because that baby looks so sweet… even though she is in fact , chunky .

Ironically, that Golden one was kinda the case between my grandma and "her dog", Chloey. It got so bad that she had Chloey in an x-pen all day while she just sat there.. so I ended up training the dog to behave around the house. But then My grandma had a minor stroke resulting in the dog to literally choose my gma over me. Im totally not insulted 😂

Maybe it’s because I live in the south or maybe it was my school, but disabled kids both mentally and physically were picked on in school. Including myself because I’m physically disabled. It was pretty bad and no one did anything.

I grew up in the west and was bullied pretty bad too for being autistic at multiple schools. Called me horrible things like the "r" word or worse and some tried to beat me. However, I was pretty scary when I little, because I didn't know how to control my anger. So most wouldn't have tried. Hopefully my bulling situation got better as I got to older grades at a school where I was more respected. Also, I wasn't very fun to bully once I learned to stand up to them and ignore them. So it was probably just the school you went to. Sorry you had to go through that.

@@oyinkansolaadebajo9716 yeah same. A lot for me was like jabs at my appearance like most disabled and mentally disabled people get. It was like getting shoved into a locker type of stuff. Just verbal. I guess Ethan just went to a nice school lol.

I grew up in the uk and I’m very obviously ADHD and Autist, and at one point my bullies tried to knock me out with a log. This was like 2008 and it still follows me.

16:27 Yeah your experience is not universal here, at my school disabled kids were THE prime target for bullying. Glad you went to a school where that wasn’t the case, but for the most part that is not the case at most schools

16:25 i went to catholic schools up until dropping out in 11th grade and almost all of the disabled kids were passively picked on until they would blow up at those kids and THEY would get sent out for being disruptive. it was truly disgusting and no staff ever cared to put the blame on anyone other than the victims of bullying

don't pick on disabled people because they might become un-disabled and then beat the shit out of you (but hey as long as they're disabled it's free real estate with no consequences!), also if you see a disabled person being picked on then just tell them to try harder and fight back (even if it's painful or dangerous for them)... great message from that guy lmaooo
edit: the dog vid was so insanely ridiculous but at least they had the decency to blur the kids' faces

I had a fat old golden retriever now he is a nice weight old golden retriever. Im so so so so so so happy that you called out how fat the dog was instead of calling it cute. If you have an obese animal i highly recommend putting it on a diet. when mine lost weight his ENTIRE mood changes he went from always being moody and would growl and bite if you had to move him to loving life and just having a good time. my dog at his heaviest was 118 pounds (We had him since he was a puppy and yes i admit that we were slacking on his care for a while) now he is around 80 still over weight by 5 pounds but hes getting there! its ok if you have made a mistake as long as you either fix it or learn from it my dog will always have a roll on his neck because now he has extra skin.
