GLC 300 Mercedes Benz LED EMBLEM instal. 2017

Just to be clear I tapped the LED emblem wires into the if in 2 the front right headlight harness harness I tapped the red wire into the Gray and Orange wire and I ere and I tapped the blackwire to the Brown ground wire after after reading many forums forums saying to use the grain white wire I found that the Gray and white wire on this vehicle Is the bright light line which does not work.

How did you get the wiring plug off the back of the light? I’ve pulled on it pretty hard but don’t want to break something
