On the night of Wednesday 15th January, the entire area of Jervis Bay (NSW Australia), as far as the eye could see, was lit up with the bioluminescent glows and sparkles of noctiluca scintillans. Hundreds of people flocked to the bay, many of them never having seen bioluminescence before. It was in the waves, trapped in rock pools, and sparkling like blue diamonds in the sand. - Наука та технологія

How beautiful... I wish I could see it in real one day❤️
looks like ground moss at planet pandora, glowing when u step on it 😁
In ben ten ?
It's part of frozen movie... Omg so magical...
Beautiful man, from what I can research they are always present in small quantities and then under certain conditions and proliferate(calm seas and light to no wind) obviously being in a bay would be ideal. I'd love to see it like this but aside from those two factors I don't think you can easily predict when they will bloom en masse. Thanks for the awesome video :)
a high amount of nutrients has been added to the bay from bushfire ash. A little bit of storm water runnoff and the bay was blooming. Plus add consistant winds and you have a bio display.
Great Video :)
Wow this is stunning
Never seen or knew about this before. Wow that’s really beautiful to see and how creative the nature is 🤩🥰😍
What a great moment to experience. I am happy enough to have been to Jervis Bay but really unlycky to have not seen this unbelievably beautiful natural phenomenon. Does it happen often in January?
It can happen any time of the year.
This is incredible 😱😱
Hi bro love your work wat kinda cam you using and does only occur in jervis bay
I live in jervis bay but didn't see this as I was In the more inland part not the shores where my house is but beautiful
Hi man, awesome video. Is there a way to find out when we can find this blue colour light. Perhaps is there a Facebook group or something that let’s us know when we can see that?
I'll be here at start of May 2023... wonder if I'll get to experience this. Nothing like this in Wisconsin, USA!
What camera did you use to film this? We went down there last night too but the lights didn’t seem to show up on our phone cameras but this footage is incredible!
It's a DSLR suited to low light, matched with a low light lens. I use this system to try to show what it is possible to see with the naked eye.
starfield 7 oh awesome, it came out great! Thanks for the response (:
Unbelievable
Ahh my front yard
Hi which beach was this at its so amazing
Bendito seas Dios por este hogar tan bello que creaste
I am heading down for the long weekend, do you think it will still be visible?
It was still going last night, at Orion Beach. Not as spectacular as in the video but still a wonderful experience.
Come on down - we need you here!!!!
Does anyone know if there is still any action on the water?
Espectacular!💪
Where I live they weren’t as dense I guess but I’ve seen it once in the sand and it looked like lighting shooting from my feet
FERNGULLY!!!!!!!
I want the exact Coordinates please and when is the exact time of this phenomenon
Same
Was there maybe a couple days after this was uploaded and we saw this as well
We stayed at some place and it was apparently the brightest they saw
We could walk for 100m with the bioluminescence still coming off our feet
They thought it was made better by the bushfires and the ash in the water
Is it still happening tonight 17/01/2020??
Magical 😍😍😍😍😍
En dónde es ese lugar
так классно, жаль у нас такого не бывает
which place is this in jervis bay
Cómo se llama el lugar
Is this a yearly thing and just gone off this year?
Michael Burns Fingerstyle Guitar it can happen at any time, but usually only a few times each year. I’ve never seen so much bio in the bay before though.
Now I know avatar is based on true events
