I saw som Tamzems and Taymars protoype bodyshells as well. Altta hardwork/effort went into making those when BL used to make cars in the70,s. Even though they made abit of amess of them

Just to add to the discussion in your community a list of my 1:8 models being assembled: (MODELSPACE) Lamborghini Countach, Ford GT40, Porsche RS, (CENTAURIA) Ferrari F40, Ferrari 250GTO, Lamborghini Miura, (IXO) Porsche 917, (POCHER) Ferrari Testarossa. These are LOTS OF FUN!
@@Kauye1 usually if you can get 18 miles per gallon your doing well . The V12 version was worse if you got 10 miles per gallon your doing excellent lol.
Will be subscribing to this build 100%, shame covid struck because the F40 would of been completed this November 😡, and as on subscriber of yours on here please do a 1/8th 3d print of yourself and place it in the completed build that would be funny and the icing on the cake so to speak 😂 😂

Always been a big fan of the Jaguar XJ220 as well, I got to see one on a college trip to the plant at Liverpool I believe it was. When I was getting a new car a few years back there was actually one listed for sale too, sadly far out of my price range lol
Looks like The cabriolet has a lot of The same features as the Tin top by De Agostini. If so ,two of the favorite parts of the build was the front Chassis/sub-frame section and The engine Wheels are an absolute nightmare to build even with The jig that was supplied........but they look fantastic compared to The Aston Martins plastic ones. Hope you enjoy this build Wayne......;I did on The De Ag version.
Very nice, but a bit of a missed opportunity. It should have been modelled on the 77 RW car famously driven overnight to Geneva in time for the cars launch.

@@bedfordshiremodeller4491 Correct. But looking at Waynes video it seems to be the same layout as the De Ag one,especially around the suspension and wheels section of The build. Agreed Bedford I also prefur The Tin top, but both models look great.

I used to work on The e type in the way back when and a slight negative camber was quite common on some of them. However They should under (Normal loading and adjustment) have a camber of 0.0= Parallel. My De Agostini E type has just this right when sitting on its wheels....this will probably be the same. As Wayne says it is The prototype model.Fingers crossed The final product will get it right.
@@longtimelurker3591 If not, perhaps some shimming is in order? I guess it depends on how complicated they make the wheel assemblies, especially with all those wires that have to be hand laced. 🤔
Land Rover...what a joke. Drive a Jeep!!! Never been a fan of Jaguars but, I guess it's cool if you're into those cars. I've had a Land Rover and it was junk. Jeep Wrangler is the only off road vehicle worth having! :)
I worked on Land Rovers most of my career here in The UK,my experience is The older The Land Rover The better. With Land Rover Anything after about 1980 is total rubish.
