Braces were a pain in the ass, but these retainers are killing me. I'm not going to let them shift just because they are killing me though

Ik they are important but still like people are fed up of discomfort plus wearing it whole life is a big commitment. We have already suffered a lot during braces and after braces also like I had a little bit pain as of tightening of braces and headaches too. I have earaches as well.
if you pulled your wisdom teeths before getting braces , should you wear retainer when you get theme off ?
I use to have braces and I wore my retainers but I stop using them and my bottom tooth's got crooked and when I try putting my retainers back thy hurt and its so much pressure they sort of move back to normal but one tooth will stay crooked and it bothers me that 4,500$ gone to waist my point is if my orthopedic denist I go to will make me pay again to get braces ? Or because I had braces I need to do another prosses I'm just mad at myself

I just got my braces off this morning. I have a permanent retainer at the bottom and a plastic retainer ( the one covering the roof of my mouth ) on top, but I am on the phone 10hrs a day at work. My question is: Will my teeth shift if I only wear it at night?
Nah I put my braces on for 3 years when my dentist said I'll only need it for 1 and a half years imma just not put my retainers thank you

Most do have their wisdom teeth removed, but the crowding can happen before your wisdom teeth even break through the gum line. Consistently wearing your retainer is a strong habit that will prevent this from ever becoming an issue.

It's a very uncomfortable appliance. I feel braces were much better because you had these when they were tightened. But have this with retainers every single day
