Her responses are also stilted and memorized, "Mr. Harvey." 😁 So, let's get this straight, "I'll play at Carnegie Hall at night after curing cancer before lunch." Good grief. As to her playing, sorry, but the Chopin she played isn't that difficult.
I practice about 2 hours and then sometimes 4 hours per day and I can't even begin to play piano like this...she is very gifted and talented...me...not even close!
bless most pianos are made in Japan...my Boston/Steinway 6 ft Grand piano has a sticker that says Made in Japan....my piano wasn't cheap either...but it's certainly NOT a real Steinway that would have been twice the price....I'm not a very serious pianist...just your average run of the road...haven't mastered Chopsticks yet and if I do then I will post it on my UA-cam channel...lol

Don’t be ashamed of what she can do at nine years old. Instead, learn from her, practice and improve, and think of what you can achieve in nine years.
This little girl really feels the music and expresses it so beautifully.
I love it that this talented young girl is so respectful and well mannered. A great future is ahead of her.
Her piano is amazing, her dreams are incredible and her manners are outstanding. Her parents should be so proud of her.

She was actually able to give it that feeling. Lots of people can play the piano, but people that can give feeling like she just did is pure talent and extremely rare.

This shows why it's so important to give children training in music and languages while they are young. Children's brains are very flexible and it makes learning easier than if you try to learn these skills as an adult.
Rusty - No, not all kids will be prodigies if they are given early musical training. However, it has been demonstrated that young kids have more flexible and facile brains and learn more easily than adults. It would be a shame if a child was not given music lessons because her parents thought she wasn't a prodigy.

She's amazingly talented and can play better than most people that are in grade 6 but i was in grade 4 at 9 and wasn't called a prodigy. But then i couldn;t play that song. She is so cute and polite. I hope that she grows up to be a surgeon!!!! Wee need more people like her in the world. I also love her dress lol.
