What he did was an optinized timing attack because he has to nuke those sunkens in order to penetrate the bases. theres a slight difference between an all in and a timing attack
For anyone interested... A tank, marine and vulture do ~32.5 dmg/time unit against medium, and 3 vultures (which is what he attacked with, even tho there were 4 in the group) firing up a ramp do ~12. So his opponent's dmg output is more than 2.5 times his in that engagement.

Doesn't 1 marine have more DPS than a vulture? So 4 vultures at 50% DPS is two vultures against 1 vulture + 1 marine which out dmgs 4 vultures. you can also get even MORE unlucky than 50% in a single engagement.
