Thank you for talking about finger bouncing, I did it heavily when I was in orchestra (I played the bass). Now I know why it was hard for me to quickly transition notes. I will be working on this, just starting on the saxophone and I indeed finger bounce. I’m surprised I was never corrected on it LOL.
Ooh great question. I think it’s best to focus on always trying to be accurate rather than a set number of “right times” before increasing to a tempo that is super challenging. So, instead start slow. And, increase the tempo gradually, but ALWAYS aim to be as accurate as possible. That will actually lead to you learning (and improving ) faster - even though before you try it sounds like it will take longer. Trust me!
If you want to teach, you must be perfect. And play in tune At 9:51;your "A" is completely out of tune, very low. Listen to every note. All those awfull instrumentalists on the web who play the "masters".

_"If you want to teach, you must be perfect"_ BS. If you want to teach, teach. Period. Give the o'man a break, you might still learn something.
Doesn't work waste of time.

Bro probably tried it once and since he didn’t become Jerry Bergonzi in 5 minutes, bro decided to write this comment
