I recently undergone Hair Transplant (3 months ago) from an experienced Surgeon, he has prescribed Tablet Lonitab 2.5 mg (minoxidil) plus topical application (Dr. Reddy's GAIN +, Minoxidil and Finasteride) also Dutasteride tab 0.5 mg. Since you mentioned Minoxidil Tab is not yet FDA approved, so I'm now worried if it is safe to take further, please advice?
It is safe only. Please have a discussion with your transplant surgeon about the efficacy of Minoxidil tablets. To my knowledge, only topical Minoxidil is recommended for hair growth.
