@@pazik162 just because they're the best players in the game doesn't mean they're obligated to help others. You don't see athletes who won multiple Olympic gold medals help other athletes win the Olympics do you?

I'm sure if u don't make a vid next year year like this one that you'll have your reasons but if you do make it I would be very glad to see it! Great vid as always bro.
Top TRIALS players would be a better title. Those of is who help other players do anything, hesca, escas, farming things, being a general medic saint, tanking everything, carrying content.. various, get ignored in this vid.
But this is what is the only way to track skill, since the leaderboards are the only resource that everybody has available to them, and top trials placements are much more difficult than hescas, esca, farming, etc.
In HG if you get unlucky a Behemoth spawns halfway across the map instead of right beside you, or a Behemoth that's twice as hard to kill spawns. You may think Keystones solve this but when you can kill Behemoths faster than they spawn, waiting for the same Behemoth to respawn becomes a problem. In Esca amps exist. Dual Behemoth fights where you can get hit by attacks that go through other Behemoth's bodies while hiding behind their massive hitbox. How can you say who is better in a game mode where so much of what influences your performance cannot be controlled by skill?
I kinda hate that the only two friends that ever agreed to play dauntless with me just leveled their weapon to 20 and then left to dislike/hate the game like all my other friends who play stupid tactical shooters like frickin valorant
dauntless is one of the hardest games to get friends into in my experience. which is weird because i actually got into the game because 6 of my irl friends played it. all of them got bored and dipped pretty quickly though
Getting friends is the way to go, i wasnt friends with any of the people im playing with today on dauntless when i started. but i just went to different servers and got to know people.
I still see those people in meta discussion on discord. They aren't really helpful and toxic as well. Dunno why there is not cpt mealstorm, syanada, utopia etc that are really helping people
Cpt. Maelstrom is my favorite slayer. When Trials was new and the game was very poorly balanced, the leaderboard was 90-100 Strikers players every single week for almost a year and Maelstrom was still playing Axe, Warpike, Sword, Repeaters, Chainblades and recording and uploading to help everyone who was bored of having to play the same weapon every week. He's also gotten many top5 times. He has really done a lot for Trials but he pretty much gave up on the game in 2022 and I really don't blame him for doing so. As for the other 2 they are just not trials players at all
toxic huh? or maybe they just being sarcastic to strangers and thats why it would came off like they are toxic.. whatever it is maybe let them be cuz no use arguing online.. if they are really toxic, sucks to be an asshole over a game like dauntless lol...
Too Long;Don't Read: there are people keeping record of the top reforge players, but it wouldn't benefit from an annual summary in the same way that trials does. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1fYMe4_gO8BL7mcmYSJlk1xt6pGLl8KFdwAYN7cSj6Cs/edit#gid=0 i like the way the ranking promotes more active, newer, less skilled players in trials because it encourages new people to be active in it and makes the game mode as a whole better. the list rewards playing the game more than just being talented at the game and i believe this is much better for the health of trials and leads to much more community participation. There is actually a fairly well documented leaderboard of Reforgers for each weapon and overall but I don't think it'd make as much sense as an annual thing as Trials does. Your reforge number is always there but in Trials your performance of a life time is only displayed for a week at most on the leaderboard, so having an end of the year summary showcasing and immortalizing all of those ads great purpose I believe. As for SoloBurst, he doesn't need to be on the list and more importantly he shouldn't be. I'll pay my respects to him first before I explain why I think it'd be unhealthy to put him in this video. Skip this paragraph if you don't want to see me fanboy out: SoloBurst has been one of the most talented players in the game since the first year of trials, he's one of the only players I actually think anyone who was passionate at competing in Trials at some point in time not only knows his name but holds it in very high regard. He won a trial where the top strategy and build was publicly seen by over 30,000 people and the Top6 players of this trial was 6 frames (exactly 0.1 seconds) apart, making it the most competitive solo trial in history. He has finished Rank1 in both game modes at the same time before, a feat that even the majority of people in this video have not achieved. Anyway despite being one of the best players to ever touch the game it's important that we don't put SoloBurst on a pedestal to the broader community because it sends a discouraging message to new and aspiring players in the community. If someone is THIS good at the game despite playing an extremely small minority of the year then what's the point of improving. People will see names like SoloBurst on the list and think "If I work 10x as hard all year I will never come close to being as good as that" which is true. That's why the list should be about consistency and overall performance instead of sheer talent, which it is. I like this video because it greatly rewards constantly hardworking, new, improving players and makes new players much more likely to aspire to greatness in trials. As someone who has been playing since the first week of trials I'll say there are new names on this list that are extremely inspiring to me because of how much progress they made in only a year as a new player to trials, it makes me want to participate in the game mode more and I do.
Soloburst is a great player, and arguably the best sword player, but he just didn't play enough for a placement. No groups, and maybe somewhere in the ballpark of 6 or 7 top 5s this year, which is mainly because he only plays sword, and sword isn't viable every week.
@@RizzmasterHayze i mean sword was viable 10/20 top5s in this rotation alone so i feel like if he only got 7 all year he's really not held back by the weapon. he's still the best imo (even if he says cosplay's the best) but yeah dawg just wasnt feeling the dauntless addiction this year
Spectacular video. Honestly I've been so excited all year to see this and it didn't disappoint.
