I prefer to do this with Bastion omnicell. You hit the enemy once after using your lantern to proc shield when doing damage, and it keeps your shield stacking. And you just use your omnicell whenever you're ready. Obviously don't use Earth cell if you're doing this method. My biggest hit so far is around 700K but I have seen people with over 1.5m on a single hit.
Could this work with Malkarions axe? I know the title says "(any weapon)" I'm just making sure I've been looking for a malkarions axe build for a bit now
nope, unless you change other armor set. the weapon is bond to a frostwulf which have the +3 galvanized. so the set is only good using the legendary frost with frostwulf.

Not a fan of builds that have a prep time...and this one has a hell of a prep time.. that said, i tried it anyways, skipping all the prep crap; performs phenomenally. This isn't one of your typical "OP" builds. feels strong, balanced, and very easy to play. And like other comments have said, you are actually exceptionally tanky with this build and never have to stop your dps even when directly on top of the behemoth.

(Note: That is a long comment xD) I am really confused right now. I started a little research on the earth cell for build purposes like this one and i found out that it is bugged. I tested it on hunting ground with nothing on but a skarn's sword, recruit lantern, Earth stacked to +1/basically only 100% of the shields are damage/ and Discipline so it doesn't affect any shield or damage. On lantern activation i get 475 shield. On normal attack i deal 114 core damage. And the interesting part is that you would expect to deal 589 core damage with attack that detonates shields but i only deal 384. The bug persists when aegis is in the equation and any other shield provider also. So basically i wanted to note that if the earth wasn't bugged this build would absolutely obliterate anything. Also i wanted to ask how the actual f*ck you stack so much shields. Is the amp for shields just negating the caps or is this another bug where it just forgets that the shields expire xD. (Side note: I am really grateful to see some fresh content because i haven't played for like 6 months and i am trying to figure the current state of the game ) Anyways pretty fun build and i hope its stays relevant ones this issues get fixed(if they are issues at all or get fixed at all). Keep the good spirit and builds going :D
So I get the really high shield numbers from Defiant Stone Legendary Lantern Amp only found in Escalations with the Skarn Lantern equipped. That amp completely ignores the shield cap and lets you build shields as much as you want. I still advise placing the Artificer on the ground as you can lose shields suddenly if you’re trying to build up an insane amount of shields
This build is broken. Its super tanky too. Wth? If you dont go for the one hit kill and just spam the cell/shield and shoot you gain so much health and its better than sturdy. Sure its less dps but youre attacking so fast and less interruptions since you cant be hit. I dont know how this works but it does. Im hitting so low per dps. But its amazing how fast they die. Just did a 10-50 escalation solo on a level 8 repeater. Without dying once. Sorry been doing this way cuz im waiting forever for that amp to show up lol
I didn't realize it's other potential until all of you have been telling me it has been carrying easily through other parts of the game and that makes me so happy
no offense one of the worst builds I've ever seen someone recommend for 1 tapping things. earth cell is complete ass and bastion does what it does 10x better for ACTUAL 1 taps I've hit for 8mil+ 😭🙏

how does conservation work with out increasing movespeed?
Can you switch cunning for Pulse? And then use the hit that triggers earth to be the last hit of pulse and guarantee a crit?

It only applies to the first shot since it expends ALL shields on one hit. If it worked with that though that would be so insane and fun

You can only break the shield cap when you pick up the Legendary Lantern Amp “Defiant Stone” in escalations

Do I have to use the Aetherdrive Tonic or could i swap out the Catalyst Cell with Aetheric Attunement?
That would probably work just make sure you put Artificer on the ground as much as possible so you don’t lose your shields
