    Bro…
    *Specific* - not “pacific”.
    “Irregardless” is not a word.
No such thing as “USB C’s” unless you have multiple USB-C cables.

This video was a masterpiece among other masterpieces by Randy. The theme of the radio being for "regular people" reverberated throughout the production! Whether it was Randy's quite regular canine companion, or the waterproofing which could come in handy if a regular operater were to accidentally drop this radio into the porcelain throne while communicating and enjoying their regularity, this video quite well communicates that the radio IS for regular people! Also, note the noise cancelling feature, which not only works and works very well, but imagine how it would reduce background echo and other noises associated with a room often used by the most regular amongst us.
Randy, you outdid yourself this time! 😁👍

I got a text from Midland earlier today and I have been waiting for your video to come out. With your usual excellent customer service, I didn’t even have to wait a day.
This radio is better than I expected. The battery life, NOAA monitoring, waterproofing, as well as it being a superheterodyne radio is phenomenal. The only thing that wasn’t mentioned in your review is that you can change the screen backlight color (according to their web site). Thank you for a good review and thank you Midland for a really good radio.

The cigarette lighter plug is an interesting hold over from decades past. I would wager very few ppl use it for lighting ciggs anymore, and it's probably not the most optimal design for simply power delivery to devices but it's so ubiquitous that it has had staying power.

Great Video Mr. Randy! To me, Midland and Maxon has always produce excellent radios over the years. I remember I owned a Maxon 27KC which was good CB to have back in the day. I wish Maxon would redesign their GMRS 210+3 and bring it back with a Motor Vehicle Adaptor with regular mobile radio microphone like it CB radio Counter Part. I bet if Maxon or Midland did something like that, it would be popular

Good vid Randy. Midland quality is good but the price on this one, like many of their products is undesirable for me and likely too much for many other GMRS users. My much more affordable (for me and likely many other GMRS Users) 3 Radios with great performance, I’m very happy with are The Radioddity DB25-G Base in my Truck & Home Base with a Midland - MXTA26 MicroMobile 6DB Gain Whip Antenna & and 2 BAOFENG UV-5G HT's with Extended Nagoya NA-7771G 15.3" Whip Antennas All support Chirp for easy programming.

Your thoughts on is the range , is it considerably better with the 575? Also will be adding a portable like the GXT 67 Pro I know there is considerable difference in the power level from the 575 to the GXT 67 Pro your thoughts on using the GTX 67 Pro in vehicle plus having the ability to be portable versus the MXT575 or 275. I dunno... you can buy some really nice Wouxon cases from Buy Two Way Radios. To be fair they don't actually come *with* any of their radios, but they're available to buy separately. I think they're even better than what the Midland comes with because they have cloth pockets for the radios and elastic bands for the chargers instead of cut styrofoam, plus the zippered mesh pocket for manuals, extra batteries, antennas, etc.

Hey man. Just wanted to ask you if the BTECH GMRS - PRO IP67 Radio is the same as this one? They sure look exactly alike and perform quite the same? Just curious as I’m going to purchase the Midland and wanted to know what you thought about the BTECH RADIO as my cousin has that one.
The difference I can see is the BTECH has GPS and Bluetooth, where the Midland doesn’t seem to have either? I could be very wrong, but that is why I’m asking the professional!!!
The price is close too: BTECH $154,
    MIDLAND $199?
Thanks for your help as I’m trying to get a good GMRS radio for Hunting/ Fishing/ Hiking and Off-Roading Adventures.
Also, if someone else has another brand GMRS radio, will either one of these work with theirs?
    Thank You!!

Looking at a purchase and looked at the detailed user manual. Hey Midland, why is this rated as IP67 when page 24 of your user manual indicates this should NOT be immersed? IP 67 calls for a device to be protected from immersion submersion for 30 minutes at 1 meter depth and still be functional or if you prefer protected from accidental splashes and immersion. I do like the large display.

Nice looking radio. What is the battery capacity? 2500 mAh? Is the audio and programming port a standard Kenwood 1 port? No USB-C port on the radio or battery. Must use dock.
Non removable antenna. (allowed in GMRS, Not FRS) No connecting to an external antenna for vehicale operations. Midland you can fix these items in the next version. Price point is high for a GMRS HT. There are other radios with noise reduction for under $100. The carrying case is large enough for two radios. Midland has a good reputation.

The GXT67 Pro seems genuinely nice. However, after watching your review of the Tidradio TD-H3 two-pack I purchased it. Midland's MXT-575 has been out for a couple of years, they might soon release an MXT-600 or some such thus, I will save my money for one of them.

The review I’ve been waiting for. I’ve been curious how this would compare to my GMRS PRO.

If it only had bluetooth audio it would be a perfect radio for the masses. (and of course if it had a direct USB charge instead of a cradle).

I would buy this in a heartbeat if it had these features. Would be a good motorcycle radio to pair with headset. Considering it anyway because of the noise reduction.

The dog needed a solid radio during it's vigorous outdoor activity.

Sales ligature? Did they hang you til you bought it?
My daily carry GMRS radios are an RFinder B1+(14) or a Motorola XPR 3500e. Midland has always made decent stuff though.

It's about time Midland produced a radio that I don't have to explain to my friends how to use the menu functions, some of them aren't radio dorks like me lol

I've watched too many of these videos to the point that I now read user manuals in Randy's voice. And when taking each item out of the box I think to my self "I have received..."

$200 buckaroos is not a 'normy' price. I can buy 2 or 3 comparable hts' for that.
My pair that I own are both cheap beofengs and together
The two different models were below $100 for both. Got an extended battery and mic for $25.
They continue to serve me well a year after buying.

We would all LOVE to hear what "comparable" superhetrodyne radios with large, easy to read screens that work great in direct sunlight you are getting for that cheap...

I'm not a seasoned veteran. I got my license just after they lowered the price like 6 months or so ago.
      Don't quote me.
Anyways my arsenal is a Baofeng
Uv-9g with an assorry stubby antenna and a pair
Of open box uv-5x hts' with a bl-5: extended battery and an $8.
      external mic.
If I came off a little snarky, I apologize.
I do plan to get better radios in the future and want to personally thanks you.
It was you videos in the first place, for the most part, that got me to dive into the gmrs waters.
      Take care.
P.S. I'm pushing 60 yrs. I'm not some young buck.
Just wanted you to know I meant no offense.
I'm sure the radio reviewed here is just fine it's just I got into gmrs on the cheap and would like to keep it that way.
      Nite.

I agree with your opinion, Randy. Like you, I have a good knowledge how these handheld VHF/UHF transceivers work
as I've been a licensed FCC amateur radio operator for the past 54 years. These handheld Baofeng HTs have a poor receiver front end rejection and the transmitter portion emits spurious emissions. Of course, the average person using these cheap Chinese Handhelds have no understanding of this. Also, these Chinese handhelds are fragile; if you drop it on the ground or in water--the radio becomes useless. I did purchase the Midland GXT 67 Pro after watching your video on it as I own several Midland transceivers. In fact, if you place your name on Midland's notification list; you will receive a 10% discount as I did with the GXT 67Pro. The 67Pro is worth the purchase price as it is an enhanced, well designed GRMS handheld. BTW, your comical vernacular is amusing and entertaining!
