Boxing out involves body positioning. Moving your body in a position to prevent the opposing player from getting by you. It does not involve flailing or swinging the limbs in manner to strike your opponent.

Nobody is trying to hurt CC. She was not put in any physical danger. Is Carter an asshole? Yes. But she never put CC in physical danger. Anyone who plays basketball knows the things you do not do on the court like taking someones legs out from under them when they are going for a layup. Angel Reese was put in physical danger of a concussion, paralysis, and death by Alyssa Thomas. CC faced none of those. Carter is just an asshole. However, she is an asshole that was the best player on the court in that game (leading scorer shooting 67 percent from the field). Her dribbling, scoring, and passing were on point. She went to the hole strong and finished through contact even while being mugged by CC. She actually made the game watchable. So, nobody tried to hurt CC. Somebody did try to hurt Angel in that game against Connecticut. Also, CC flopped during the contact with Reese. Reese did not send CC flying with her left arm.
