    I´m in Brazil... someday, 04 years ago, in the deepest darkness of my life, I was caught by one of his videos...I immediately fell in love with this peace. I listen to these videos since than every single day...they put me on a "higher place", a state of lightness, peace... Thank you Jonh!!

      No.
      When compared to the bible and the God very clearly described in it, it is very clear John is confused and is, most definitely not, aligned to the truth of the bible.
      Furthermore, when one listens to hours and hours of John's speeches, one starts to realise how circular and contradictory he is.
      I believe him to be a gentle, friendly old man, but he is not a sage or theologically sound.

    John Butler is a true saint because he’s gone before and shows us the gentle discipline of mediation. I love him so much. I love the way he’s spent so much time in mystery that he’s learnt not to label the Presence beyond saying that it is love. Such gentle wisdom and quietness of heart

      @ellisonhamilton3322 He said once that when he was working in the farm of his father he was happy to work with his hands. He had a different life, a more solo one. Sorry if it offend you, it's not meant to! I'm just not good enough when writing and speaking English. All I want to say is that, if you're often feeling lonely - even if not _alone,_ what I think could help you is to try to find peace in solitude. Try to find peace of mind: enjoying no one else but you. I don't know if what I write is easy to understand... I try...

    I have been feeling so negative lately, filling my head with news and politics and so on. Today I thought I might add a little positivity to my mind and of course turned to John Butler. This video put me in a great mindset, I just shared it with my mom, too. Thank you Mr. Butler for sharing your wisdom! I have been a listener for years and I'll keep coming back :)

    Indeed, we continue on, just as my mother exists now in the spiritual realm. Yet, for me, the challenge lies in contemplating a transition to that realm, leaving my beloved wife and child behind. I imagine that for those who have no remaining loved ones-no spouse or children-it might be easier to embrace the departure of the physical body with a sense of peace.

    Although he seems a dear soul and lovely person, to “me” at least, the most truest and wisest thing he said is that he doesn’t KNOW!, The rest is,, I feel, although peaceful and comforting, mostly holy blah, blah, blah and I sometimes wonder if this is maybe perpetuating an ignorance and a sleep that’s preventing us from truly awakening and raising our consciousness to bring about a world that’s uplifting of our humanity and this miraculous existence.

    This is just my personal opinion, but once you see your sins and you are sorry for them then you are clean , unless you continue to sin constantly then I guess you need to repent every day. I do appreciate John‘s lectures. ❤

    • @IAMFISH92
      @IAMFISH92 6 місяців тому +4

      I think this is more to do with a misunderstanding of what repentance is rather than the potential necessity for engaging in it daily. Repentance isn’t merely feeling sorry over one’s sins, though that’s certainly part of it (especially in the beginning). But as you said: “unless you continue to sin constantly”. The implication on your part being here, I’m assuming, that one only feels the need to repent when a willing and apparent sin has been committed. This isn’t the case. Repentance includes recognition of our sins, smallness, and mistakes. But it also includes the positive: practicing the virtues, humility, prayer/meditation/contemplation, etc. Repentance is a constant state of turning towards the Divine and away from ourselves so that Union can be realized. Without repentance we are stuck in the many and the illusion of separation from God.

    Right genuine question.When John says 'in this reality no one dies' does he mean because there is no one there to die or because the people/souls there are imortal.I mean yes,no one dies if this other reality is nothing but a zero.But thats not saying much.So can somene explain to me what it IS perported to be.Im confused

    • @SpiritualUnfoldment
      @SpiritualUnfoldment  5 місяців тому +2

      It is a bit of a puzzle Randy. To John, Spirit/Presence is the only true reality and does not die. ‘Real’ life (to you and me perhaps) is unnatural to John - fallen due to sin and that’s why it dies. Clear? Thought so. Phil
