aaaaah yeah Buck I wasn't aware of who he was at the time, you see this is why we call it First Listen.. I was unfamiliar with this, understand? Therefore I didn't know who Jason Becker was..

For almost 30 years Jason Becker has only been able to move his EYES. Yet he still communicates, writes music and continues to inspire millions of people all over the world. Stronger and braver than I could ever be, Jason is a true legend! I urge everyone to check out his newest release Triumphant hearts which united musicians from all over the world to record Jason's music. Also his personal YT channel released a beautiful tribute to Eddie Van Halen which showed unreleased footage from when Ed went to Jason's house when Jason had just recently lost his ability to move, walk and talk.

this song belongs to album "speed metal symphony". Jason Becker was at the age of 17 while recording this album. the album is completely guitargasm. songs belong to marty friedman in the first album. they recorded two albums to protest the cliches. in the second one, you can feel the presence and effect of Jason Becker in song writings also.
I grew up listening to these albums, they are legends.

Strong american 80s power metal that reminds me of Vicious Rumors and Sanctuary ! Great !

Peter Marrino is singing on the album and Atma Anur plays the drums. The bass on the album were played by Marty Friedman. Anur also played with Vicious Rumors

Oh wow I did a reaction to a Chastain song wonder if it was him in the video?

@@ShaneDiablo It was John Luke Hebert playing drums on the Chastain number you reacted to.He also toured with King Diamond. Most Chastain albums have Ken Mary on drums. He played with Alice Cooper, House of Lords, Fifth Angel, Bonfire and others. Great drummer. Anur played drums on Jason Becker's Perpetual Burn. Think you reacted to him earlier. I might have mixed things up. Anur joined Vicious Rumors when Larry Howe joined Chastain. So I'm not so certain he did anything with Chastain. My bad!.

Anyway you should check out CJSS (Chastain,Jinkins, Skimmerhorn and Sharp). They were great. A few mentioned Vicious Rumors. Also a great band. Their second vocalist Carl Albert had such a great voice. Died in 1995 in a car accident. Listen to The Voice also featuring Mark McGhee on second vocals. He had a short time in Starcastle. Another great song are Digital Dictator. Saw them opening up for Savatage on their latest tour. Think it was in 2001. In between were former Iron Maiden vocalist Blaze Bailey. I still wonder why he were on that bill

I have never heard of this collab.....my familiarity with Jason Becker is limited to his work with David Lee Roth - had no idea he had ALS and what his current state is (thanks to Espi for the info). Sad but amazingly inspiring at the same time. I thought this was very cool and quite the musical ride... Double horns for Jason and his metal tenacity!! 💥🤘🤘💥

If you're my age then there's no excuse! Jason Becker has been my favorite guitarist since this album. Really bummed out when he was diagnosed with ALS. And i was so happy when Marty joined Megadeth. Jason still composes amazing music.

Sorry for your computer bro! Love the outro to this song. But overall I think it’s such a well written composition for a shredder song. And heavy.

I love this band, both records. A pity his short career, for me better than Megadeth or David Lee Roth. But of course, with the illness of Jason were doomed anyways.

Epic?? It's ok, but their singer was terrible, like many metal bands in the 80's. If you really want epic listen to Go Off!, Speed Metal Symphony, Concerto, Images or Jason and Marty's solo albums! No crap singing.

Also Jason uploaded a video of Eddie Van Halen visiting him and his family after he was wheelchair bound and it's an awesome video.

Dude, i love this albums vocals. its got that hair band vocals over speed metal which i think is really cool. The choruses are super catchy and fun. I honestly go off is a horrible album other than the guitars. There is only one bad song on this album and its way more than just the guitars.
