@@fin1168 Yep. They had no H-recovery, meaning that the hybrid wasnt getting any recharge

First : Hamilton didn't touch Vettel.
Second : the only reason why Leclerc didn't win the race is because his car fucked up and couldn't reach 250 km/h in the last 10 laps...
So I don't think you watched the race yesterday, Leclerc dominated everybody and if the race was fair, it would have been Leclerc 1st and Vettel 5th.
@@caskuh Vettel fucked himself 100% yet again being consistently too mediocre to pull through when it actually matters. Leclarc, on the other hand, has potential to be the next Lauda or Schumacher.

Hey Jimmy, your driving is amazing as always, I just started sim racing recently and I really enjoy it. Would you mind making a video about how to setup a car or actually you could make a video setup for each video you make, like for instance if you are playing a certain track, you could record a video where you make the initial setup then a video where you are actually driving the car. Your videos are always awesome :) keep it up.
Most exciting F1 race I've seen in a while. Awesome to se LeClerc get pole and sad he had mech issues, but at least he snagged a podium. He'll be back. The youngsters and the veterans are in for quite a battle this year.

I buy this game and in have issues.. The problem is when i go on the race Wheel and my petals didnt Work..when I go to option then i can see then Work ok.. Why that happens

Hey Jimmer, do you know about the mod that makes your tires the correct color when you switch compound in-game? I think it adds a lot to actually see which compound you're on :) To get it to work like the 2019 rules you would need to do a simple config file tweak before each race to select which color each compound is. Also, really loving the new timing display :D

I think Content Manager has a new feature where it does that automatically,Its under the Custom Shaders Patch tab.
I recall saying there was no for Ferrari to lose that race at around lap 30. However, they never fail to disappoint.
First the strategy then the engine and the engine again and couple of spins its hard to be a ferrari fan

Looks like you recover energy on the braking zones. Try setting "MGU-K Recovery" to 0, it should help you brake later.
If Jimmy can't beat the pole time, you know it has been an incredible lap.

Man, back in the day I always hated this track (2002-2004). I'm starting to get back into racing. Monaco was by far my favorite track, but you've inspired me to check this one out again sometime.

I got a little bit closer (+0.489) to the Charles pole lap time after 20 laps and after doing some proper changes to the setup - it was hella fun though. The modding team made a really good job with that mod. (sry my bad english)
Nice to see in the race things went from "Mercedes are going to run away with it, again" to them saying "We have work to do." Loved this vid as it showed just how useful VR is around certain courses, making a virtualy blind corner so much easier...
just curious how did you get the tire warmers to be visible? have mine turned on but i never see them.

Do you know what compound of tyre the red wall was this race. Now since they are using the same 3 colours ( white , yellow and red ) im a bit lost as to what actual compound they are actually using. Was the red in this race the old red or the old ultrasoft purple ?

A bit of help needed. I bought the mod (and its great!) , but when i load it into Assetto Corsa there is no gears number on the dash. Any help or fix would be much appreciated
Pole position is easy, try to finish whole race without engine failure ;)
Pole position means getting the fastest qualifying lap. It has nothing to do with what happens in the race.

I think it was a great race for charles, if you look at the fact he was SO much faster than everyone else and had an incredible pace in the race. And then of course his engine problems, but i think in the race he showed that he is the best of the field, and thats a great race in my opinion.
Is it SOL that you were using here, and if yes what settings ? Because it looks beautiful :)
Softer compound will give you more understeer because of the extra rear grip (bigger rear tyres than front means bigger grip gain at rear with softer tyre) - looked a lot faster through T10 though.

Wow watching the graphics and listening, to the engine and cant imagine how great it must feel, with VR makes my ps4 f1 look lame in every department, the difference with sim racing and consoles seems quite big shame sim seems so expensive
Man I really think you coulda done it! There was a few parts where the car really lagged coming onto power. I think if you were able to keep the power up a little thru some of those corners and maybe even got a good run outta one of those middle to late sectors I think you woulda had it!!
I looked at the boots and the sizing is only in European (I’m from Canada) so I had to do some googling to figure out the size. I’m only left with the question of is the width the same?
Ugh this car sounds so amazing. I mean it still sounds like a washing machine or something, but the mod actually sounds like the irl and not some bass boosted v6. Of course the diffusers help, but still.
I've questioned this all the time since i startet watching Jimmer, why is his VR screen set off a bit to the left instead of being centered?

Could you possibly show what you did with the setup and talk us through why you changed the things you changed? Because I'm quite bad when it comes to setups and I never seem to get them right, in fact I'll probably make the car worse than it started out.

Have you tried the 2018 car? I find it way more forgiving to drive. This new 2019 car is just all over the place, especially on this track.
You said you were using the softs, but that terminology is messed up this year with the new naming rules. Was it the C3 (softest compound used this weekend)? And was your latest lap on the C5? If so, I'm a bit surprised you only gained 0.4s. The gap should be a lot more according to Pirelli.

@McLarenBMW Id argue that if it wasnt necessary, pro drivers wouldnt do it. I know every onboard during qualy Ive ever watched, they are making multiple changes to brake bias and diff adjustments corner to corner. THAT is how you get that extra 8 tenths of a second

Hey Jimmy! You're not using the ERS to its full potential. You should set the MGU-K Recovery to 0% so that you can brake a lot later, and set the MGU-H to "Motor" mode so the energy harvested goes straight to the engine and not to recover the battery. Hope you see this comment, your time could go down by more than half a second with these settings! Love your vids, you thicc brit!

I drove a 1:27,5 with the 2018 Mercedes on F1 2018. But I normally am not able to beat poles.
Try being a gear higher in the 'slippy' exits. Just a thought.

Ain't they allowed to open DRS everywhere on qualifying? or has that rule changed?
It was like that originally but then restricted to DRS zones only in 2013.
Drivers will always push limits in qualifying and were increasingly having accidents trying to activate DRS on corner exit.

You need the special fuel flow mod for that time.
