Thank you Todd. Always a great source of reliable/excellent information. I really appreciate this series. Something rewarding about learning so much useful information in 3:07. Perfect!!
@@Esotericdetail Exactly!!! I'm glad that in the sun, it's clear as can be! I have a hard time NOT aiming for perfection... even on My daily which is lightly polished and coated annually. Thanks for chiming in, Todd! Wishing You a nice weekend. 😎
More light doesn't mean better. Their stronger light is good for looking from further distances to see a big area, but way too harsh for closeup inspections. That intensity of light not only hurts your eyes, but it washes out finer levels of haze. I've tried using them on several occasions, and found it to be way too much.

Glad you liked it!!
Love this Chanel, such a wealth of information 😊
Thank you.
What is the deal with Hex Lights in a Detailing studio, I couldn’t think of anything else worse to have, so I assume it’s just for show!
That Rupes light is one of the best and worst purchases I've made yet! Some defects can't be removed, this light shows that. It drives Me nuts, lol!
They will also show defects that you'll never be able to see outside in the sunshine...also driving you crazy! :)

New to the channel and finding it very useful. I'm struggling with what light to use for pearl white car (Subaru Sti). Any tips / recommendations?
You'll want a good handheld LED for that.
What are your thoughts on the scan grip range?
Won’t the scangrip handhelds show much more than the Rupes pen light?

@@Esotericdetail what about working outside under a canopy? Would the Rupes light still have enough output?
@@marksafady1059 Yes, as long as it's not an area where the sun is hitting it.
@@Esotericdetail thank you.
@@Esotericdetail do you ever adjust the focus with the Rupes pen light?
