- Last night I discovered that the summer water well wasn't pumping. That means no water for cows or the gardens. Let's do morning chores while we wait to hear from the well company and let's get a way to haul water to the cows figured out!

Erin, you’re doing a great job. Mother Nature has been testing you, but you have proved yourself worthy. Hope the well problems get sorted out quickly and easily. Sending you positive energy!
You doing a good job lady? I like your attitude
I don't think you're complaining at all, just walking us thru the issues. Thats all you can do, deal with one problem at a time. I think you're doing real well and wish you cooler weather and some rain. You're fortunate to have people who support you on your ranch; its what good people do - help each other. Be Blessed!
Erin you continue to rock the ranch. 👍Oh, and there’s a solution for the problem peripatetic turkeys. It’s called “thanksgiving”.
Hang in there Erin. Better days ahead even if today’s crappy.

You work so hard! I hope things get fixed and you can have a little respite. You are amazing!
It is okay thar you show the troubles/struggles of ranching. It can't always be a smooth operation. I'm glad you are showing it all. Yes you look stressed but handling it with grace. Keep up hard work and you will persevere.
Erin you are a Superwoman!! Great job!!
Hang in there Erin. Things will be better soon. 😃
OMG - Tootsie & Twizzler are getting soooo big😳❣️ And LOVED the close ups of the goats & bottle calfves🥰…they make my heart happy… Amazing job with your work-arounds during these crazy-ass times🤪💪💪
Great problem solving skills
Keep up the awesome job you're doing! Keep putting out that positive energy, it will come back to you 10 fold. Blessing for you, yours and the animals entrusted to your care!
It’s not funny, but ironic. Our well pump went out in June as well. Luckily we have a 100 gallon bag type emergency tank. We filled it multiple times to get water to everything. To the garden. Everything.
It really makes everything much more difficult.
Just part of living in rural Wyoming. Gotta love it!
Has Ethel got over her grudge yet 😂
Just in case you have to haul water again get you a couple of 300 gallon totes. haul with your tractor.
Thanks for sharing more wonderful videos see you all next time OWL hugs and prayers❤❤
Thanks so much!
You and Jeff are AWESOME!!!! This too will pass keep you doing what you’re doing God will provide you with strength and patience.
Love your videos , packed full of information.
Haven’t seen Carrie lately.
Keep up the awesome work!
You are doing great……
You’re doing great at keeping your cool. I’d be pissed and cussing up a storm. Not making a video. But I guess making the video is helping you to keep your cool. I sure hope you get that well fixed soon. Let us know when it is fixed. Prayers to you🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏
You are just terrific. You are bright, diligent, tough and lovely. You are wonderful at recording, editing and posting your videos. VERY well done.
Hoping you get all of your wells up and working.
And you're right issues come up on ranches and farm too often than we like.
Another great video! thanks for bringing us along!
Awesome job of solving problems.
You got this Erin , great job . Just keep turning mountains into mole hills . It's all we can do .
It is part of life. Finding answers is the only thing you can do. Keeping a level head and moving forward. You are doing great. Hopefully you keep your spirit up. Thanks for sharing.
One step at a time and keep moving forward. Great job
Great video Erin
It’s what happens on the ranch. Life throws the odd curve ball and you deal with it and today you did just that. Well done Keep up the good work. Love to watch your vlogs. Xxxxxxxx
Show it all. We love you. If nothing else we can just listen to you and pray. Keep your wonderful attitude. Bless you.
We went through the same heat in June. Grass would crunch under your feet. After July 2nd we have had 16 inches. And more tomorrow. 🙏 I will pray for rain for Wyoming in the coming days.
Great video and enjoyed it very much.
Hang in there.
❤️🫶❤️ North Carolina 🇺🇸

Great job !
Send the kids up on the roof to chase the turkeys! 👍🏽😊❤️🇺🇸
Right now in South Texas the high is in the low 80s. Little cold front. We are enjoying it. Usually it is unbearably hot and humid. Sorry you are getting our usual heat. Hope your well gets fixed fast. I hear the critters yelling Ma! Ma!
Honking my horn like an idiot as I rode by this morning. Was on my way to Spearfish from Rawlins today and just happened to run your road. Immediately recognized your house, barn and the store shed from all the videos I watched. We cruise south on Thursday and hopefully you have beef jerky available?
Keep Pushing Erin. U got this with Frustrating Times and All. It can Happen to Anyone. Please Do Not expect Perfection, it Comes when it is Ready. Remember, take it Easy on Yourself, Jeff is there to Help. What a. experience. Try Not to lose too much weight Erin. U will need it, especially at times like this. Thank U for Sharing. Hang Tough a d Rock On.
To bad you don’t have a couple large dog collars then you could grab and pull (lead) the lambs. 😀🙏🏼
Hey Erin, every farm/ranch goes thru this . Believe me, some days you can plan things out then all of a sudden, whoop, you are having to go entirely in a different direction!!! It can be very stressful when too many things crash around you in too short of time, but if you can roll with the punches and stay reasonably positive, you will pull yourself thru. It makes you stronger in the long run. Alot of swearing also helps!!!! 😂😂😂
Great video
Thanks!
Clipping a (turkey) wing might work- provided theyre in at night for protection i suppose. Congrats- Ur doing it- even in the heat its common to feel stressed- anyone would! Have U thought about a light sunhat to keep the sun off the dark hair? There is also a special wet towel to put around the neck - keeps body cooler. Ive seen roofers wear light colored longsleeve to keep the sun off the skin. I personally wear a bandana to keep sweat from the eyeballs!
Wow! That is a lot to take in! But I know you got this. It just part of ranching as you say. We are having a dry spell here in South Central PA. Hoping to get some rain as well. The animals look good as always. Praying better days ahead. Have a great week, OWL! I think your gardens look wonderful!😊 say Hi to Bambi and Crackerjack for me.
Slow down girl you are get through this. And eat more you have lost weight through stress not good. Appreciate you.
Thought it was hot in iowa some 90 degrees days but not over a hundred yet. Every day on the farm you never know what it will until you're done with the day .
I like your video keep them coming 😍😍😍😍😁😍😁😍😁😁
At least July’s almost over. We’re past the worse of summer.
Sorry that the water has been a problem. Hopefully can make it a good winter time project.
Does one of the lambs have a sore leg? The smaller of the two that cooperated with walking to the yard.
So sorry to hear about the water situation
You are doing😊such a great job
Twizzler is a little special!
Perhaps a herding dog would a useful asset for the ranch.
I'm praying that you get the problem solved with your water. You got this.
Erin, nobody should think ranching is easy. Hell, last weekend I was re-working fence (just more tlc) with gaps in the fence my horse got out, on top of me rushing to fix the fence. That ruined the day, as I do not have flat land. After a Full day, did finally get the horse back into his field and fence repaired. And even still, I love working the land and with the animals, would not have any other way.
You’re a wonderful rancher and I’m happy that I’ve gotten to know you over the past few years. Thank you for sharing and please make sure you and Jeff enough fluids.
This to shall pass!
I have so much respect for you and what you are doing! Hang in there!
Try using the bucket with grain to lead the bottle calves around.
Turkeys need a tree, either a built roost or plant a tree .
Great video, Erin.😊
Thank you!! 😊
❤
How on Earth do you find the time in a day for all of this!? And REMEMBER all of this 😮
Nice to see the goats and Petinua been a while.
Here a chick there a chick....
Everywhere a chick!!
Yep, stuff happens. Your doing good to just get by sometimes.
Great Job Erin ! The farm looks great . How are the kids doing?👍
Thanks!
Put the farm up for sale while it still has some value, two more years tops, by your self, to much for someone that doesn’t know what there doing. You have to prepare for bad times, to me looks like more are coming. Really hope you don’t lose the farm.
Now why would she do that? Then there would be nothing for you to post about in the subject matter of her selling the farm and how you give it 2 years. Which you have already mentioned two videos ago at least. But you keep commenting and that just brings the engagement up and UA-cam loves that so keep doing you which in the end contributes to the farm that you so desperately want to fail. lol See you next video!!! Thanks for the support! Plus you forgot to mention how it was built totally by someone else and heaven's forbid Erin had anything to do with the running of the ranch prior to this year. You are entertaining with your assumptions I'll give you that! Have a fantastic day!
Your doing a great job Erin with that amount of work don't know how you cope watching from Ireland
Lamb question... are you not docking them?
Thank you.
It's the good bad and ugly
Do you need some halters for those sheep?
It might change that once you ask him see, if he'd come out and help or doesn't. Don't you talk to him anymore? That's all right, just something hope it don't cost you too much. It's a new pump. You have a good day.
Stubborn animals day 😂😂
love you Erin. always enjoy your videos.
Can you just trim the turkeys wings so they won't fly so high?
Hello You can hang discs on the shiny side along the roof the edge of the roof and this prevents them from going up on the roof
The bottle calves look great compared to previous years when you just turned them out and quit giving grain.
They’re doing well!
We were in sheridan last weekend for the rodeo! Stay safe
Hope you enjoyed Sheridan!
That is right Erin people don't like snows but we need them they soak deep in to the ground and help everything grow in the summer , we have been getting less rains each year we did not have any snow this past year or the year before I have change the way I am running my cattle now, so far it's working for me .I don't have wells but do have creeks and ponds is what I use. Your doing great keep it up it's just a lot of work.
Hello Erin, another great video for us.Your ranch is such a busy place, but you handle everything so well.Take care!❤
I wish I could send you some of our rain. Rains 3 days sunshine one. (Northern Minnesota) but we had no snow last winter and our lakes and everything was low. It sucks but it’s life. I hope you get your well fixed and lady you smile through crap that would make men cry. You are doing great.
Hopefully the house well can keep up with the extra load until you get the others fixed. It was 107 here in NW ND yesterday and 106 right now. Do you still have Gus?
Gus went back to his owner.
Hi Erin. Very interesting video. Looks like you are keeping up with everything. Praying for cooler weather and rain! 🙏
👍👍❤
Good morning to you ❤. Have a great day after you get your water fixed😢😢😢. Sounds like she's saying mom!! Our grass is the same way in Central IL. Trim their wings.
Hi
Okay, I can understand with 103 degree weather, but otherwise, the turkey's will come down from the roof of the chicken coop when they are hungry/thirsty. There isn't really any reason to worry about them staying on the roof is there other than the heat?
Won’t they come down when they are hungry? If heat isn’t a factor?
Besides the current heat wave, we also have to worry about coyotes, badgers, skunks, racoons, snakes, camels...and tigers, lions, and bears as well. Those are all very good reasons to worry about animals in one's care. Erin is mindful, watchful, and caring. The perfect rancher in my opinion.
