Remember the famous quote young people, if it seems too good to be true it probably is. The videos on this page are great, but I'd argue a small percentage of people attempting then can actually make a living or any decent money at it. It's easy to think "I can do that!" Yes, you can also post on TikTok and make money with their creator program however, you do have to get a lot more views on TikTok (which honestly is easier on TikTok) to make money… for example, I know someone who recently started going hard on TikTok and they don’t get a ton of views regularly but every so often one of their videos pop off and get over a million views which boosts their income a lot. With all that being said, UA-cam will definitely pay way more than TikTok even with LESS views, so I would say UA-cam is priority… but it doesn’t hurt to repurpose content on TikTok.

Ummm...am I the only one that noticed that the Spanish version of the finished video wasn't in Spanish? And Global News uses video from Global National. Both are owned by Corus Entertainment (headquartered in Vancouver, BC, Canada), which oversees all of the network's national news programming as well as local news on its 21 owned-and-operated stations. So they're not really creating their news videos the same way as this. They might be using the same program or something similar, but they're not having to scour the internet for trending stories...they've already got them, and produce longer videos under Global National.

I'm naturally, clever, and cheeky lol BUTTTT what's your advice on deciding a channel name that attracts viewers and subscibers? Does the name of your channel dictate the success of traffic? If so, is there a tool that can rate your channel name ideas or offer suggestions that are typically recieved well or chosen by viewers so you have the best chances of standing out amongst other channels posting similar content?
I have zero experience with what this channel is trying to teach, however, based on my personal UA-cam consumption, I would recommend using an early letter of the alphabet to name your channel. My list of subscriptions is alphabetic so channels that start with A are seen (by me) most often. I don’t often scroll down to the channels that start with T, W, etc. Hope this helps. It’s just one aspect to consider.

You would select “no” in this scenario. Although yes the videos are being made with AI, the AI is simply constructing the video using real images and footage. From my understanding UA-cam only wants you to select “yes” on the AI question if you used AI to alter those real videos or real people, OR if the AI created an entirely new made-up image. So you would still be able to monetize, but even if you are making AI generated content it can still be monetized on UA-cam. So you’re safe either way.

Problem I see is making these videos based on trending topics. The topic spikes in popularity, then dies off. No one is interested in an earthquake in LA a month after it happened. Remember the famous quote young people, if it seems too good to be true it probably is. The videos on this page are great, but I'd argue a small percentage of people attempting then can actually make a living or any decent money at it. It's easy to think "I can do that!" Yes, you can also post on TikTok and make money with their creator program however, you do have to get a lot more views on TikTok (which honestly is easier on TikTok) to make money… for example, I know someone who recently started going hard on TikTok and they don’t get a ton of views regularly but every so often one of their videos pop off and get over a million views which boosts their income a lot. With all that being said, UA-cam will definitely pay way more than TikTok even with LESS views, so I would say UA-cam is priority… but it doesn’t hurt to repurpose content on TikTok.

And Global News uses video from Global National. Both are owned by Corus Entertainment (headquartered in Vancouver, BC, Canada), which oversees all of the network's national news programming as well as local news on its 21 owned-and-operated stations. So they're not really creating their news videos the same way as this. They might be using the same program or something similar, but they're not having to scour the internet for trending stories...they've already got them, and produce longer videos under Global National.

I'm naturally, clever, and cheeky lol BUTTTT what's your advice on deciding a channel name that attracts viewers and subscibers? Does the name of your channel dictate the success of traffic? If so, is there a tool that can rate your channel name ideas or offer suggestions that are typically recieved well or chosen by viewers so you have the best chances of standing out amongst other channels posting similar content?
I have zero experience with what this channel is trying to teach, however, based on my personal UA-cam consumption, I would recommend using an early letter of the alphabet to name your channel. My list of subscriptions is alphabetic so channels that start with A are seen (by me) most often. I don’t often scroll down to the channels that start with T, W, etc. Hope this helps. It’s just one aspect to consider.

You would select “no” in this scenario. Although yes the videos are being made with AI, the AI is simply constructing the video using real images and footage. From my understanding UA-cam only wants you to select “yes” on the AI question if you used AI to alter those real videos or real people, OR if the AI created an entirely new made-up image. So you would still be able to monetize, but even if you are making AI generated content it can still be monetized on UA-cam. So you’re safe either way.

UA-cam does accept AI generated content and it can be monetized as of the time that I’m writing this. This type of content however is not AI generated technically as the AI is not altering the content you’re putting together but simply structuring and putting pieces together.
