Thanks, Minoo! I received the mini-guide from you. You know, many times, after watching a lesson of yours on UA-cam, I wanted to tell you something I had in my mind for a long time! After reading the mini-guide, I thought that I don't have to procrastinate any longer and that I have to tell you this: Minoo, you are not a teacher, you are a Master! It is a big difference! The teacher gives you the theory! Master is contaminating you! The Master makes you feel happy when you learn. The Master makes you enjoy learning. Thanks, Minoo! Cristian.
Thank you so much, Cristian, for your lovely comment! It means a great deal to me to know that my way of teaching has made a difference to your enjoyment of learning.
Minoo Minoo ! No sooner had I received your notification with your photo on, than immediately put a smile on my face. Little did you know, that not only did you cross my mind yesterday but this morning too ! And here you are with this short and sweet mesmerising lesson ! I have to say! Your lessons never send me to sleep, notwithstanding my tiredness! By the way; your yellow jumper looks absolutely stunning, just like a fresh daisy🌻🌻🌻 take care for now and have a marvellous weekend. Much obliged for your time, and as always, pleasure to be here!
My God...... phrasal verbs .............my God......It's been an utterly amazing lesson !! Phrasal verbs are my nightmare !!! Never mind, I do love English , the most important language in the whole world. You are beautiful. Cheerio, dearest prof. A
Greatly inspired by your quote,' ' don't try to memorise and use them straight away yourself". I realize that my habit of trying to memorise them and using them straight away myself puts me off them(phrasal verbs). And I Stop learning them. We should learn them instinctively as children do. Learning any language is all about learning it instinctively. It is not sth. to be learnt like other subjects like Maths , science etc. Those non-native learners who realize this truth , quickly start to understand a foreign language. What we need is to adopt childlike attitude while learning a new foreign language.
Coucou Minoo. awesome lesson as usual .This said ,you 've made too long to come back...this might# cost you an arm and a leg#...I might bring you to court... لا لا...But as I've learn't from you much more ,in a short time, than from elswhere for much longer, I 'd rather thank you again and again ...Don't bear me a grudge for being so "outspoken" or ,worse, presumptious...I ve just wanted to pay you a tribute for your worthwhile lessons... تقدير و إجلال واحترام .Thanks so much Minoo.
Dear Minoo, I don't suppose you could make us a 2 minutes video teaching us how to use the word * notwithstanding* could you ? I will promise you I will be a fan and friend of you for a lifetime 😁😃
I've added that to my to-do list, but it is a bit low on the list, I'm afraid. In the meantime, this page may help you get a handle on it: grammarist.com/usage/notwithstanding/
Hello Minoo, it's only me again! I don't suppose, you could tell us why sometimes native speakers prefer to use what we call: Dramatic/ historical present, could you by any chance, especially when they are telling jokes? One can also hear it from football commentators! Many thanks in advance.

Oh Wow! You're the king of inversions, and you've used 'notwithstanding' too! Congratulations!

Thank you, Andrea! Just relax about phrasal verbs. It takes a lot of revision and practise to activate them.
Greatly inspired by your quote,' ' don't try to memorise and use them straight away yourself".

Absolutely, Veena. A child-like attitude of being relaxed and curious will get you there much more quickly and easily.

OMG! How complicated the English language is....😱😱😱😱 Anyway Minoo is the best!
It is indeed a complex language! Thank you for your support.

It's a very simple reason: Narrative/Dramatic Present brings the story/joke to life and makes it more engaging.
