    Thanks, Minoo! I received the mini-guide from you. You know, many times, after watching a lesson of yours on UA-cam, I wanted to tell you something I had in my mind for a long time! After reading the mini-guide, I thought that I don't have to procrastinate any longer and that I have to tell you this: Minoo, you are not a teacher, you are a Master! It is a big difference! The teacher gives you the theory! Master is contaminating you! The Master makes you feel happy when you learn. The Master makes you enjoy learning. Thanks, Minoo!
    Cristian.

      Thank you, Andrea! Just relax about phrasal verbs. It takes a lot of revision and practise to activate them.

    Greatly inspired by your quote,' ' don't try to memorise and use them straight away yourself".
    I realize that my habit of trying to memorise them and using them straight away myself puts me off them(phrasal verbs). And I Stop learning them. We should learn them instinctively as children do.
    Learning any language is all about learning it instinctively. It is not sth. to be learnt like other subjects like Maths , science etc. Those non-native learners who realize this truth , quickly start to understand a foreign language.
    What we need is to adopt childlike attitude while learning a new foreign language.

    • @AngloLinkEnglish
      @AngloLinkEnglish  2 роки тому +1

      Absolutely, Veena. A child-like attitude of being relaxed and curious will get you there much more quickly and easily.

      I've added that to my to-do list, but it is a bit low on the list, I'm afraid. In the meantime, this page may help you get a handle on it:

    Hello Minoo, it's only me again! I don't suppose, you could tell us why sometimes native speakers prefer to use what we call: Dramatic/ historical present, could you by any chance, especially when they are telling jokes? One can also hear it from football commentators! Many thanks in advance.

    • @AngloLinkEnglish
      @AngloLinkEnglish  2 роки тому

      It's a very simple reason: Narrative/Dramatic Present brings the story/joke to life and makes it more engaging.
