Lanka Chop Recipe : Lanka chop or Shimla Mirch Pakoda is one of the most popular street style deep fried Snack . These pakodas are available more during festival time in India. Outer layer is crispy and half cooked crunchy inside , little spicy pakoras / Chops are tastes great while hot . So, learn how to make Lanka Chop at home with secret ingredients and tips in this Video. Do enjoy crispy Pakoras / Chops with Tomato sauce or with Green chutney :)
Ingredients :
1. Shimla Mirch / Bada Lanka / Shimla Lanka - 250gm ( 6 - 7 pcs )
2. Gram Flour ( Besan ) - 2 cups ( or 200gm )
3. Raw Rice powder ( Chaula gunda ) - 1/4 cup ( or 50-60 gm )
4. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
5. Roasted Coriander seeds ( crushed ) - 1/2 tbsp
6. Carom seeds ( Ajwain / Juani ) - 1/2 tbsp
7. Refined Oil / Cooking Oil - 2 tbsp
8. Salt to taste
9. Oil to Fry .
