My Middle School Band Director was a Trumpet virtuoso, who could play Flight just like that. He was also a published composer of band music. Kenneth Henderson was his name. I was also a pretty good player in my day, practicing up to 4 hrs/day. You have to put in the time, and be dedicated to achieving Andrea's level of playing. There are simply NO shortcuts. Due to an illness 10 yrs ago, I had to give it up. Now, I live out my playing through Mr. Giuffredi's performances. Unconsciously, sometimes I find my fingers moving as though depressing the valves to make the notes. Thank you sir, for the enjoyment you are bringing to us all!
That's really cool about your middle school band director. By the way, in Middle school band I want to play trumpet, my dad was in the best marching band in the US called, the Calviliers. Do you know that one?
@@EnithsStick No sir, I'm sorry that I am not familiar with that organization. Are they connected to a particular school, or, are they primarily a "Show" Band based out of Chicago?
Glad to hear the original bumblebee played on trumpet because every time a trumpet cover of the arrangement is mentioned, people often automatically picture The Green hornet
He was clearly exhausted at the end and no kidding. The deep breath had to last for a long time until his next grasp of air. The lung control is remarkable. A true master. 👏
Wahnsinn. Toll. Klasse. Interessante Interpretation. Sehr flott, klar, präzise. Toller Sound. Ich habe es oft von verschiedenen Stars gehört, aber das war überragend.
I don’t think it was the actual flight of the bumblebee song, but rather the Green Hornet theme song. We were gonna play it for a brass ensemble in 2020 but Covid happened before we could start practicing it much.
My dad would have loved to see this?, he worked in the biggest record store in london in the sixties and loved playing me these rare odd findings including the delight of the flight of the bumble bee!
Very nice and what a great piece to show the clarity of your new horn. Fantastic job with such great articulation. I definitely will give this a shot. It's been many years. The chromatic scale set the ending perfectly. Thank you Sir 🎺🎺
I am also a 14 year old girl from Shillong Meghalaya India who plays a trumpet but my goodness, I cant play that fast. I mean I can play fast but not as much as this. Anyways good job ❤❤. By the way, I just wished I'd learn those keys.
[ENG] Conscientious, I've downloaded the partition, but I will not try to play it before 157 years... [ITA] Coscienzioso, ho scaricato la partitura. Ma non proverò a suonarla per 157 anni.
A different angle on a real classic! Couldn’t be any fast and more technically difficult ! When will we see and hear the Andrea Giuffredi signature Flugelhorn?!?!😊😊😊
Now that’s one I definitely won’t be playing! Fantastic - beautiful tone! And very shiny!!

@@genealley9794 They are not connected to a school. It's a drum and bugle corps.
definitely one of the best pieces you have ever played! the precision of each note is incredible!
You sir, deserve a medal. I will also be eternally grateful for the link to the actual sheet music on all your videos.
Glad to hear the original bumblebee played on trumpet because every time a trumpet cover of the arrangement is mentioned, people often automatically picture The Green hornet
Instrument może i inny ale mistrz za sterami dziękuję Ci Andrea za twoją niepowtarzalną grę uwielbiam cię słuchać 👍🎺💪

Wow. An amazing performance, and a display of incredible talent!
Our school music teacher played this to warm up. It blew me away!
This is my first time hearing this and let me tell you, this sounds exactly like a bee flying
wow! never heard this version of Flight of the Bumblebee before, definitely more energetic than the orchestral versions ;D
Maestro, excellent, comme toujours. Mille merci Andrea Giuffredi
Grande Maestro oltre l’esecuzione impeccabile mi piace molto l’arrangiamento…complimenti! 🎺🎶👍
Very clean, but I must say, I don't dig the rock beat behind it...

When playing with no music , it feels like im watching someone play freedom dive lol
I wonder how long it took him to practice that song, cuz I want to play it on recorder.🤔
Picado, ligado or not, that's the bumblebee bee question ?😎
👍👍👍👍👍👍
sACRiliGioUs
How manny practice years do you need to play this thing?
Nice... but can you play it at 15 notes per second?
💪💪💪🎺🎺🎺🏆🏆🏆
:O
Would like to see the original music being played instead of an altered score to make it easier for brass.
Which one is more difficult. this one, or the Green hornet?
Are we even playing the same instrument?!?!?
amazing! please have the decency to mention the composer.
[ENG] Conscientious, I've downloaded the partition, but I will not try to play it before 157 years...
[ITA] Coscienzioso, ho scaricato la partitura. Ma non proverò a suonarla per 157 anni.
you are very cracked
Tbh I like this song on trumpet but I think it’s better on woodwind instruments
I underestimated trumpets.
It’s cause the mustache
The background beat kind of turned it into “Flight of the sacrilegious dying mosquito”, but ok.
If I ever attempted to play this piece at least two of my keys would get stuck
"if you can play it slowly you can play it quickly"
-someone who uses a 10m diamond violin.
Ska!
Alguien sabe que trompeta usa aquí el maestro?
Que marca de trompeta es?
Where is two set violin?
Sacrilegious
A different angle on a real classic! Couldn’t be any fast and more technically difficult !
When will we see and hear the Andrea Giuffredi signature Flugelhorn?!?!😊😊😊
Is the the theme to green hornet?

"SACRILIGIOUS"
