barbz I’ve tried them outside and if the road is rough, it will be harder to skate. I also recommend ordering a tool that you can loosen the wheels and stopper with and thats the reason why it was a lot more harder to skate without the wheels with. Maybe you even want to buy another pair of laces, cuz the ones that come with the skates are quite short. Hope that helped

I just got the Rose gold Impala skates! My first pair of skates! I wanted to know if impala skates are good for outdoor skating. I’ve only skated in a hockey rink but was planning to also skate on the street or near the beach but it sounds like I may have to change the wheels.
Chelsey Hi!! Yaayy! How do you like your skates? Yes, you can skate outdoors in them totally! Just know that your wheels aren’t gummy wheels so the ground won’t be as smooth! Skating on a tennis court to get in the groove is also nice! 💜
Miss Tiffany Tynes I love them! I get a lot of compliments on them and it feels so nice to get back into roller skating!! I’ve only skated on smooth surfaces though, outdoor hockey rink and basketball court. I’m still debating if I want to skate with them on uneven surfaces...
Chelsey Awesome!! So check it out, you can totally skate on other surfaces (like sidewalks etc), just know you’re gonna feel the bumps and cracks on the ground in your skates a lot more than you would with gummy wheels! Wear your protective gear, too!! 💜

Are we not going to talk about the current impala controversy? Anyways, moxis are absolutely amazing. im planing to buy myself a pair of lollys for my 15th birthday, (a nice upgrade from the beach bunnies in my opinion). i have been using my beach bunnies for a year and a half now, and theyve been holding up so well. I just ordered some new wheels, laces, ad toe stops, just to spruce my skates up. Moxi skates are definitely an investment worth making.

@@MissTiffanyTynes So, as far as i know this is what happened, ill give you the simplest version. karen the carrot, who is a part of the skating community on youtube supported impala for a long time and after a while was asked to do a photo shoot ( I believe it was a photo shoot, if it wasnt it was something for advertising) with a couple of other girls. After the shoot, she learned that everyone in the shoot got payed except for her and the one other woman of color there. When she contacted impala they said they didnt have the budget for that amount of girls, which is total bs, because they could have divided the pay instead. Anyways, there are videos on it, so sorry if i got anything wrong, but thats pretty much the premise of it.

I believe they decided to pay her for all events she attended in the past, but who knows how much it actually amounted to be since they clearly said no money left in the budget... If this crap is still going on, I will NOT support Impalas! Im a woc, not gonna lie, seeing other women of color enticed me even more to get back into rollerskating. She (Karen) definitely put impalas on the radar for me, despite me discovering they're as cheap as hell. I still wanted them bc of her lol. Moxi's are what I want anyway but MAJOR SIDEEYE for not paying her in the first place. It lets me know how they REALLY feel....... keep that same energy cuz I know she helped BOOST sales tremendously. *We* make everything swaggy and I feel like they used her.

So, I always wanted to start roller skating and I finally decided to start now at 21 (almost 22 in few months) But since Friday night, I've been having the anxiety of Wich one I can choose, I was literally purchasing and canceling the order on Amazon because of anxiety and insecurity of Which skates are the best. First I was going to buy Chicago's, but then,I saw many reviews that says they are crap, then I saw many reviews that Impala's are better and found videos where people say Impala's are better than Chicago's, so I decided to pay extra an ordered a beautiful pair of pink and yellow Impala's skate for 85$. Then after I placed the order for the Impala's at Amazon, I started see many negatives reviews for the Impala's on internet saying that Moxie are better. I decided to just go ahead and keep the order for the Impala's since this is driving me crazy and I do not have the money for Moxi at the moment and I really want to start learning this. However, I'm still feel a little unsure if I made a good selection tho...
Hi! Impala's are a GREAT beginner skate (much better than Chicagos in my opinion), just know that the wheels won't be "gummy" wheels so you will feel everything. If you are practicing in a rink, the impalas will be great because it's a smooth surface. If you have any tutorial requests, let me know!

If you are just starting, they are great begginer skates and you can find them for a good price in Amazon, you can do lot of things with them, as soon as you feel ready you can upgrade to Moxi or perhaps get the new Impala's Samira Skate, I heard those are great quality however they are quite expensive.

I’m 7.5/8 with a kinda fat foot and 8 Impala was too big. I still have a little wiggle room in my size 7’s. I went according to the size chart for my Moxi lolly’s, I pray they fit when they finally arrive.

I'm actually a 40 year old grown woman. My review is based on MY experience with these rollerskates. What works great for you may not work great for others. What works great for ME may not work great for YOU. If there are so many great brands out there, perhaps you can list those brands for my audience to see instead of judging a brand that someone else may like/appreciate. Also, the MOXI brand/owner has been nothing but good to me, personally, so as far as "racism" goes, I can't say that I have experienced such a thing with Moxi as I have been featured several times across multiple platforms of the MOXI brand. Thank You.

So I just order the impalas holographic skates they will ship/ be delivered in under 3 weeks. Then I saw the videos about them not paying people of color until they were called out for it . Also keep hearing people say they mess up quickly I’ve never skated in roller skates and been inspired to so..... I'm not looking to do roller derby or anything at a skate park. Just a gal who wants to get back into skating around the neighborhood and local rink. Do you think the Moxi beach bunny skates are good? I REALLY want to try skating to help me with anxiety. I just want to get skates that are good and worth my money but not expensive 😩💗.
I wanted beach bunny’s but they were sold out so I went with the impalas they aren’t the best quality but since I’m a beginner they work fine for me:)
Beach bunnies are great for beginners and advanced skaters, but if you fall on concrete, you will get major scuff marks. All skates get scuffed, but because the bunnies are made with vegan leather, the color comes off easily (in contrast to the lolly where it will just appear lighter in color). You can get toe caps to keep them looking new longer but it doesn't mean other areas of your skate won't get roughed up. That being said, the skate is still incredible quality. You really can't go wrong with Moxi because it's made by skaters for skaters. Also, I love hearing that you are skating to help with your anxiety! I skate for my depression!
Elizabeth Wade You can also get Boot covers to help keep scuffs off your skates! Many stylish options are available.

@@missincognito9168 Absolutely. I think some of it has to do with the fact that it is a form of exercise, which releases endorphins. But there are other things that skating has done for my depression. Practice led to confidence in my abilities which in turn led to confidence and trust in myself. And all in all, it's just fun...it puts a smile on your face. The first day I skated, I accidentally picked up speed on a small hill and slid into a patch of grass like I was sliding into home base. It hurt, but it was exhilarating. As someone who is also very anxious, there was something about surviving a fall like that that made me feel so alive, invincible, and strong. I ended up crying tears of joy. Some days I feel like I'm not even worth going for a skate, but once I do it, I feel so much better.

Hi! The Lolly skates are made out of suede vs the Beach Bunny skates are made out of vinyl. The Lolly skates come with a soft leather boot which breaks in more quickly and forms to your foot a bit better!

I got both right of the bat and I didn’t like the impala ones at all . I have the moxi jungle bunnys as well I love them as a starter skate . To me i can’t even compare these moxi is just on another level. It’s a shame because impalas are nice looking but just a waste of money .

Hello! Great video, thanks for sharing! I have a question tho, is there much difference between moxi lollys and other moxi skates such as beach bunny? I really want some moxi skates but the lollys are sooooo expensive :(
Camila Arbeláez Hi! For one, the Lollys are suede so the quality will be much better, hence why they are much more expensive than the Beach Bunny. The Beach Bunny are the perfect beginner to intermediate skate, though! I LOVE my Jungles, which are the same as Beach Bunny skates pretty much besides the style. If you’re not ready to spend the $300 on the Lollys just yet, totally get the Beach Bunnys! 💕

Interesting because I'm usually a 8.5 to nine and tried on the impalas and they were too loose and very uncomfortable. Even the eights were loose and rentals felt better. Which was a bummer because I wanted the Holographic ones. Sure grip has been around forever and has a great reputation so I went with those. They were also $150 cheaper so I could get new bearings and light up wheels for the rink.
That's awesome that you found some skates that work for you! I bet the rentals felt better because they were worn in :) Yep you can always switch out things here and there the make the skates match your vibe! Yay!

I you are between sizes on the size chart for whatever skate you're looking at, get the larger one because you can always wear thicker socks, but if it's too small it'll hurt.

If I got Impalas but I wanted the gummy wheels from Moxi, would I be able to put them on the Impalas or do the wheels have to be the same brand as the shoe ?
If you switch out your wheels, you will most likely have to switch out your bearings as well, which in that case, you may as well buy new skates!
You can try to buy gummy wheels from other brands too!
All Skate wheels are interchangeable, you will need to buy a new set of bearings if you switch them out! But you shouldn’t have to throw out your skates, only if they are busted and no longer safe for you to wear! If you don’t want to purchase a new set of bearings, you can watch some YT videos on how to clean your bearings.

Moxi has skates available in Wide width for special order! You will need to order through a local Skate shop or rink.

Tiffany, Just a lil marketing advice. I was hoping you would have gave the skates away in a contest. Ask your followers to share your videos, tag ppl, repost etc. Then after a month or 2 of free advertisements then you pick the follower who won !! (Make sure they create a video t s/o you out first the free skates and tell others to check out your page 😉)

Last time I skate was in my teens and that was long long long time ago. I want to relearn, and I’m kinda scared 😱 but looking back I was that teen that mom will drop me at the roller skate 🛼 ring and I’ll be there for hours and hours going around with my friends and dancing 💃🏻

I had moxi years ago & the tongue was really uncomfortable for me. Is the impala tongue more comfy or the same?
I will say the tongue on the moxi is super tough/sturdy compared to the Impala! The moxi skate tongue doesn't hurt me at all but it is a struggle sometimes to adjust!
I would consider getting moxie but they don't have my size T^T
