- A meme is going around which has been incorrectly attributed to The Fourth Turning. But more importantly, the meme is doing more than distorting one book's insights...it is misrepresenting the picture of where current events stand in America, and where events might be headed.
Strong men create good times.
Good times create weak men.
Weak men create Hard times.
Hard times is the tenth novel by Charles Dickens, first published in 1854. The book surveys English society and satirises the social and economic conditions of the era. This novel is unusual in several ways: It is by far the shortest of Dickens's novels, barely a quarter of the length of those written immediately before and after it; Also, unlike all but one of his other novels, Hard Times has neither a preface nor illustrations; Moreover, it is his only novel not to have scenes set in London.
There had never been any good times, people were just young and naive
You can say that about anytime. Was is not new, stop acting like it is. Corrupt men created hard times which creates guess waht creates weak and strong men, it's by waht you define it, sand stop saying men lol. This world is so absurd giving men the credit for everything, Women have been strong in all times, and have always had it hard, even when it got a little bit better. it's circumstance that can easily be different per individual, Weak men don't create hard times, corruption and mis use of people's right and resources create it
By the film footage you mean World War 2.
